Charmis Deep Radiance Vitamin C Skincare Range review

Time and again, I have shared in my blog that skincare is not just a routine for me, it is a therapy. When it comes to choosing the right product with the right ingredients, I never forget to research what I am using on my skin, and I believe it is very important we all do so.  Recently, the ingredients my skin has been loving are Vitamin C and Hyaluronic acid and I made sure I use the best. ITC Charmis Deep Radiance Vitamin C range is what I have opted for recently and I am going to share my personal experience with the Vitamin C face wash, hand cream, and face serum.

Before starting off with the review, I wanted to let you all know that I have been using these products for a couple of weeks and only then I am able to tell you if these products have worked for me or not. It is completely up to you if you want to spend your money reading this review or you want to do more research before that. I always recommend you guys to do your research well before you invest in any product.

Coming back to the review, Charmis Deep Radiance Vitamin C Range has been launched recently by the brand and it consists of three products- Deep Radiance Face Wash, Deep Radiance Hand Cream & Deep Radiance Face Serum. This range is packed with three extremely potent ingredients like Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid, and Salicylic Acid. Together these products will make your skin radiant and youthful, hydrated, soft and supple to touch, and will revitalize the skin by removing signs of fatigue and dullness.

Now, let’s get into individual product reviews-

Charmis Deep Radiance Face Wash

Formula & Efficacy- Formulated with Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid & Salicylic Acid, this face washes deeply cleanses the skin and removes extra oil and dirt from the skin. Vitamin C, an extremely potent antioxidant provides radiance to the skin making it look youthful & nourished. Hyaluronic acid provides great hydration to the skin and retains that moisture for a long period of time.  Salicylic acid does a great job of gently exfoliating your skin and at the same time keeps acne at bay. This facewash washes away 99.9% acne-causing bacteria. Despite the deep cleansing and high foaming, this does not strip away the natural oils from your skin. Rather, it keeps the skin hydrated even after the wash.

Texture, Colour & Smell- The texture of the deep radiance face wash is like a pinkish gel that foams up so much once you work it on to your face. One thing I like so much about this product is that a little of it goes a long way. Even the tiniest amount lathers well to cover your entire face and neck.  The fragrance of this is quite mild and refreshing and not at all overpowering.

Formula & Efficacy- Applying a facial serum is a step that I have started loving recently. The deep radiance face serum is claimed to penetrate 15 layers deep into the skin and delivers the active ingredients directly into the skin. Regular use of this product helps remove dullness from the face, add a brightening effect, and hydrates the skin.  The non-sticky formula helps it get absorbed into the skin quickly and completely without making the skin greasy at all. Although it is suitable for all skin tones, I recommend dry skin people apply a moisturizer afterward and oily skin people leave it as it is.

Texture & Smell- The texture of this serum is quite runny, but it gets absorbed by the skin in no time. It is extremely lightweight so even if you use this in the morning, you don’t feel heaviness on the skin. This has a soothing aroma that lingers for quite some time post-application. The fragrance, like the others in this range, is not overpowering at all.

Taking care of our hands has been a matter of great importance after the Covid-19 broke out. The use of hand sanitizers and hand washes have increased substantially which caused the occurrence of dehydration and roughness in the hands. This issue has also increased the sales of hand creams in the market. People are now aware of taking care of their hands also.

Packaging, Formula & Efficacy- Charmis Deep Radiance Vitamin C hand cream comes in a compact packaging that is easy to travel with and is completely spill-proof. This product does not only deeply nourish your hands but also protects them from 99.9% of bacteria that come in contact. This again is packed with the goodness of Vitamin C that fights the signs of aging, because as interesting as it might sound, our hands are one of the first body parts that show signs of aging. Hyaluronic acid holds in the hydration which is really important because our hands endure a lot during the day.

The formula is very lightweight and non-greasy without compromising on hydrating power. I really like this fact about this hand cream because I do not like the idea of moisturized hands that cannot hold a pen.

Texture & Smell- The texture of this deep radiance hand cream is soft and lightweight like how a hand cream should be. It is soft and easy to blend into the skin. It also gets absorbed well leaving no stickiness behind. The smell is a refreshing floral fragrance that is quite similar to that of the entire range.

Core Ingredients- Neem Extract, Aloe Vera Extract, Basil Extract, Lemon juice.

Packaging- Astaberry Neem & Aloe Face Wash comes in a bright green transparent plastic tube with flip open cap. The packaging is very simple, easy to handle and travel-friendly. You need to squeeze the tube in order to dispense the product out.

My Experience with Astaberry Neem & Aloe Face Wash

I love neem-based face washes a lot. I feel they cleanse the face from within and give me a glowing healthy skin. I have been using this Astaberry Neem & Aloe Face Wash for more than a week and I feel I have noticed a few differences in my skin after I started using it. Astaberry Neem & Aloe Face Wash has the benefits of Neem, Aloe Vera, Basil and Lemon. Neem soothes irritation and prevents acne. It is rich in antioxidants. Aloe Vera is a natural moisturiser, it works to alleviate the effects of UV radiation, hydrates and softens the skin. Basil has antibacterial and antimicrobial properties that purify the skin. Lemon is a natural source of Vitamin C, it clears and tones the skin.

This face wash leaves my skin clean and soft every time I use it. It makes the skin soft and supple and adds a healthy glow to it. It effectively removes sebum and impurities from the face and makes it look and feel fresh. Astaberry Neem & Aloe Face Wash is for all skin types.

I am quite happy with the results considering the price of the product. It can be termed as a good face wash within budget. I would recommend you guys to try it out.

The only thing I didn’t like is the long list of chemicals used in it.

How to Use- You have to pump it to dispense the product out of the bottle. The pump dispenses the product out through the brush-head in the form of foam. So, you don’t have to lather the product up within your palms, the entire thing is done for you. My Experience with Organic Harvest Masseuscious Damage Control Cleanser-

Ever since I received this product, I have been using it twice a day. It cleanses the face quite effectively without making it dry or stretchy. The shea butter and olive oil in it make sure your skin has the perfect balance of hydration even after washing it off. The brush that the product comes with is really helpful in order to get the cleanser work on your skin. It makes sure that the strokes are gentle and your skin is not irritated throughout the cleansing process. The silicone bristles are really soft on the skin so it does not trouble any existing acne on your face. This product works nicely on oily/combination skin, it is really effective in removing excessive oil from the face, leaving it oil-free for a long time.  I generally wake up with a greasy face every morning, but using this cleanser at night has made a difference. I don’t notice that much oiliness on my face when I wake up in the morning. Using this product in the morning helps me achieve a fresh look throughout the day. Although this cleanser works wonders in removing dirt and oiliness from your face, it barely does anything to reduce or remove acne. My face has been breaking out a lot lately so I can clearly tell that this cleanser has done nothing for my breakouts. I must use this for another couple of weeks and see if it prevents the appearance of acne or reduces the frequency. I will update you guys if anything like this happens.

Overall, I quite liked the Organic Harvest Masseuscious Damage Control cleanser. Being an Organic Harvest products, this cleanser has the benefit of plants so you don’t need to worry about the ingredients. The ingredients are 100% safe. The attached brush is an added benefit as it massages the product with the right amount of pressure as well as it gently exfoliates your skin while cleansing. I really liked the idea. The only thing bothered me is the price. I think it is a bit expensive for some. Other than that, I liked this product and I will recommend this to you guys.

The Product- The product is actually a green coloured, foaming gel. The texture is exactly like a gel, a little less concentrated. It smells like herbs. The fragrance is very mild and goes away after washing off. As I said earlier, it is quite concentrated so, a little product goes a long way.

My Experience with Medimix Ayurvedic Face Wash

I use this face wash once a day, in the mornings. I like to wet my face first and then take a pea-size amount of the product and rub it between my palms, foam it up and then apply to the face. It instantly brings a healthy glow to my skin. I have been using it for more than a week and I can surely tell that it makes a difference. It does not cause breakouts, does not dry out my skin and provides an all day long freshness. I do not have acne, nor that I have an acne-prone skin, so I cannot tell you if it fights pimples or not. I need my morning skincare to be something extra. Medimix Ayurvedic Face Wash ensures I get that extra something.

It comes in handy when you are out and need a quick cleanup, but which will give the same effect as a full-fledged skincare routine. Like, if you are running late for work but do not want to skip your morning skincare regime, you would need this face wash.
