Gone are those days when students and their parents submerged in deep thoughts about getting them or their children admitted to the best colleges that fitted with their certain needs. No need to tell that that was utterly chaotic and stressful. Concerning those parents and students a new website has been developed this year that vouches for providing the best counseling about colleges. Collegedunia.comis basically an Educational Classifieds portal, which apparently has information on 20,000 colleges and universities with 6000 courses categorized in different streams in India and as per the founder of Collegedunia, it would be able to involve around 30,000 by the end of this year.

Sahil Chalana, the founder of CollegeDunia.com says, “We spotted a huge gap in the data being catered and the quality of information being sought by College aspirants in the pre Admission session. The notification of colleges today is very scattered and students are looking out for detailed presentments such as Cut offs, Admission Process, eligibility and even Co-Curricular Facilities.”

Collegedunia deals with, as the name suggests, India’s most reputed colleges and universities. Their aim is to serve the needy with all kind of information like placement, admissions, festivals to fees, course intake and reservations, all in a single platter. Currently this website is dealing with almost every stream of education such as Engineering, Management, Medical, Arts, Commerce, Science, Law, Mass Communication, Agriculture and what not!

This website has a smooth navigation; it loads really quickly on any browser. At the landing page there is a tab with the names of different streams, under each of them is a search pane with a lot of choices under Bachelors and Masters Degree category. There are a handful of filters to choose from- one can choose their desired type of studies (part time or full time), then stream and finally location and search for a college as per their requirement.

I would suggest all the students who are about of start off their higher studies or the parents of such students to look for a college as per their need and convenience on Collegedunia.com before the results are out. I would definitely cut down the long term and hectic procedure of deciding of an ideal institute to pursue the studies.

I hope this piece of information would prove to be useful for you or any of your acquaintances. Do comment to express your views on this post. Thank you 🙂
