Hi, guys! I hope you all are safe and healthy. Today’s post will be all about ethnic women suits that have made me consider going through a severe wardrobe refresh. Ethnic suits are something an Indian woman should always have in their closet, according to different seasons, occasions, and moods. Be it your anniversary, friends’ reunion or office party, ethnic pieces come in handy everywhere. They are the easiest to carry, style and accessorize. Today, in this post, I will share some of my favourite ethnic pieces, particularly Indian suits according to different occasions.
Table of Contents
1. Brunch with the Girl Gang
Rummaging through your wardrobe before leaving your house with a bunch of your girlfriends for brunch is unavoidable. But, unfortunately, every time we do that, we end up with ‘I don’t have anything to wear. Let me know in the comments if you agree. With this piece of a suit set, you’ll never have to worry about brunches or lunch dates or any informal day event.
This green-coloured straight women suit set is perfect for brunch with your girls as it is 100% pure cotton and is comfortable to wear for a day full of activities. Just accessories it with black metal or oxidized jewellery and simple sandals to make it perfect.
2. Daytime Festivities
The Indian festive season is approaching, and you must decide on what to wear to each festival beforehand. One can never have enough festive wear in your closet. This peach-coloured suit set could be your choice to wear on any day during the Ganpati Utsav. You can also consider wearing this to a daytime wedding function too!
3. Stun Everyone at the Office Party
Let’s admit first; office parties are the hardest of occasions to find a dress for. It would be best if you look stylish yet sober, different but not over the top. I am sure not one piece in your wardrobe will seem to be the perfect option for an office party. So, here is something stylish, chic, modern and not too much. Consider wearing the best women suits for an occasion like this.
This elegant green silk suit with floral embroideries will make you unique and noticeable. Team it up with golden statement earrings, and you are good to go!
4. Summer Weddings
Weddings are an integral part of Indian culture. An Indian wardrobe is incomplete, with one or two shelves full of women suits suitable for weddings and related ceremonies. The best part is you can also repurpose those clothes at festivals. Weddings in summers are too hard to decide on what to wear. Indian summers are cruel; you will be sweaty and messy right after arriving at the venue. So, I would prefer to wear something comfortable and practical for humid days.
This bright orange 3-piece suit set is made up of pure cotton, thus more accessible for your skin to breathe in the scorching heat. The multi-coloured dupatta makes it even more gorgeous and apt for a Haldi ceremony. Pair it up with gold jhumkas or any other statement earrings to amp up the overall look.
5. Go Minimal CHIC at a Cocktail Party
Cocktail parties are generally held in the evening, and most people prefer wearing western semi-formals. But what if you step in wearing a stunning blue chikankari suit set? You’ll bring in some fresh air to the party, and I can assure you each pair will be on you.
This is one of my favourite women suits, and thus it is today’s showstopper. This sleeveless chikankari suit set has a flared hemline and high side slits, making it extremely chic, modern, and classy. The powder blue colour is so unique to be a party colour, thus making you stand out in the crowd. There is chikankari work going on all over the front and back portion of the kameez while the dupatta and salwar pants are plain with some lacework in the hemline of the dupatta.
The only thing you have to keep in mind is how you are styling a chikankari outfit. You can pair it up with dainty silver jewellery to match the overall look of the outfit.
So, this was my list of five occasions we find very hard to decide on ethnic wear. Indian suit sets are undoubtedly the most versatile yet the most underrated clothing ever, and we should consider wearing more of those to different occasions. With the right accessories and unique styling, Indian ethnic wear is undeniably unmatched.
