Since the season of dryness and roughness has come, I have started taking more care of my skin nowadays. My skincare essentially consists of three primary things, cleansing, toning and moisturizing. These are the three steps I never skip on. Another thing that is very important for me is a good exfoliator. I usually like to scrub my face twice a week but I feel these days that is not enough. So, I switched on to a more powerful exfoliant than my usual one. Today, I’ll be talking about my recent favourite Vanya Anaarshine Pomegranate Face Scrub.

Pomegranate Face Scrub is a deeply nourishing blend of pomegranate peel, orange peel, milk powder, and natural cane sugar. It uniquely formulated to resist acne and oxidation while gently exfoliating and hydrating skin.
Pomegranate peel – Pomegranate peel is rich in antioxidants, Vitamins, minerals, that provides the necessary nutrition to the skin. It also works as a natural sunblock, astringent, anti-ageing agent, and UV protector.
Orange Peel- This citrus fruit contains vitamin C and acts as a natural astringent which helps you to fight with various skin problems.
Natural Cane Sugar – Naturally exfoliates dead skin and is said to fight against toxins and prevent ageing of the skin.
Milk Powder – Gently helps in skin rejuvenation, cleansing and hydration. It gives a youthful glow and smooth skin.
Mandarin oil – is added for good aroma to the scrub. It also adds to the cleansing & rejuvenating properties of the scrub.
Bergamot Oil – it is one of the commonly used ingredients in aromatherapy. It’s aromatic & soothing. It has anti-acne properties.
The Anaarshine scrub comes in a metallic jar with a screw lid. The packaging is definitely not hygienic. You’ll have to use a wooden spatula to be safe. This, on the other hand, is completely spillproof and thus very travel-friendly.
Damp your face first. Take a dollop of the scrub, mix it with some rose water or plain water and apply by massaging it in a circular motion on the face and neck. Wash off with water and pat dry your face. It is recommended to use this scrub once or twice a week.
The texture of the scrub is quite granulated. The good thing is that the granules are very gentle on the skin. The consistency of it is very sticky and concentrated. It’s not a cream, nor a gel but it is quite comparable to the consistency of jaggery. It is not at all sticky on the face once you add water to it. It also does not make your skin greasy.
I am a fan of scrubs that are gritty but not harsh on the skin. Vanya Anaarshine Pomegranate Face Scrub is exactly how I like it to be. The scrub looks very gritty in the jar but when you apply it feels smooth and very gentle on the face. Being a very mild scrub, it can be used daily.
The product might seem quite expensive for the amount you get but it is in a highly concentrated form as mentioned earlier so you’ll need a very little amount to scrub you entire face a neck. You just need to dilute it with some water and you’ll get enough product to use at a time.
Using this scrub daily will bring some glow to your face and it will appear brighter. My final verdict is that Vanya Anaarshine scrub effectively scrubs off the dead cells on your facial skin and also it is hydrating, it does not cause stretchy or irritated skin.

If the lace front wig is still too large, you can adjust the straps at the back of the wig cap to make the circumference of cap smaller.
Continue in this manner until your lace front wigs are as small as what you need. Make sure to leave enough room to accommodate the normal motion of your head.

Nivea Coloron Lip Crayons come in regular plastic lip crayon packaging. It is a fat, twist-up pencil with a transparent lid. Although the tip of the crayon still remains outside even after twisting the crayon down till the end which can damage the tip if you are inattentive while putting the lid on. What I liked about their packaging is that each crayon is colour-coded and also the transparent lids make it easier for you to pick your desired colour in a hurry.
If you are following me for a long time you’d know that I am obsessed with lip balms. I hate the feeling of chapped lips and I cannot step out of the house without moisturizing my lips. For daily use, I prefer tinted lip balms that protect my lips also give me some sort of colour to the lips. I cannot leave my house in bare lips. Mostly, I am into lipsticks but sometimes you just want to ditch the lipsticks and go for something natural-looking.
When I received the Nivea Coloron Lip Crayons, I was beyond happy because I found what I was looking for quite some time now. These crayons are insanely pigmented and oh-so hydrating. The longevity of these crayons is not very bad considering they are very soft and sheeny. The texture of these crayons is very smooth and creamy so that they don’t accentuate the creases on your lips. The crayons literally glide on your lips. You can lessen the shine by dabbing a tissue onto your lips or by applying some translucent powder on top. I like them as they are. These are also transferable. The colour fades to the edges after a meal, but they provide long-lasting moisture. Even after the colour is gone, your lips are hydrated. You can always reapply these whenever necessary.
Overall, these tinted lip balms are a must-try if you are looking for something like these within budget. I am very happy with the shades and the colour payoff. The moisture they provide is very satisfying.

Now, let me tell you what I honestly feel about this particular range of sheet masks.
Packaging- The packaging is very nicely and meticulously done. An image of the key ingredients of the corresponding masks is printed on the packaging itself. Also, the name of the ingredients and the effects of the mask is also written boldly on the pack. So, the user is completely aware of what they are putting on their face and there is no room for confusions.
Fitting- The fitting of these sheets masks is what makes it my favourite. The holes are made keeping Indian face shapes in mind. A difficulty that I face with most of the Korean sheet masks is that the holes for the eyes are not wide enough to fit me. But Nykaa’s sheet masks have bigger eye holes so that they fit people with bigger eyes.
Consistency of the Serum/Essence- I have never used a sheet mask before that doesn’t come with a thick, hard-to-absorb serum/essence. My experience with Nykaa Sheet Masks was outstanding because the Nykaa face sheet masks are soaked in a serum that is very lightweight and absorbs quickly into the skin. The essence does not make my skin oily, it just adds the right amount of moisture.

Hi, guys! I am back with a new review after so long. I was kind of busy with getting my life back on track. Now that I’ve started enjoyed every bit of my work once again, I am here with a review of the Tjori Night Skin Repair Elixir that I’ve been enjoying using for quite some time now.
Tjori is a brand that has come to prominence in the recent past. I have literally been bombarded with recommendations on Facebook lately and it has successfully intrigued me to some extent. Recently, in my May Fab Bag (watch the unboxing video), I received this tiny bottle of the Tjori Night Skin Repair Elixir that I first mistook it for a sample size product but soon realized it is a full size. Since then, I have been religiously using this product every night and I can see a visible difference that I’ll be sharing with you in this post.

Packaging- The Tjori Night Skin Repair Elixir comes in a small plastic bottle with a plastic screw cap. That’s how I received it from Fab Bag but when I visit the official website, I can see the cap is golden and seems to be metallic which is same in Nykaa and Kraftly. The bottle, being transparent, allows you to keep a check on the usage. The only thing that turns me off is the absence of a dropper or decent dispenser. I have always used night serums/treatments that come with a dropper and that is very convenient. Without a dropper, measuring and dispensing of the product becomes a tough and messy job.
Directions to use- Massage 1-2 drops onto face after cleansing. Can be used alone, or added to your favourite moisturizer or treatment. Use day or night.
Texture- Tjori Night Skin Repair Elixir is basically a light-weight facial oil that absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving any sticky residue. Being an oil, it definitely feels a little greasy which doesn’t bother at night. I prefer to skip it when it’s too humid outside. I would suggest oily skin people use it in the night only and dry skin people use it for day or night. It adds a bit shine to your face.
The reason we choose and concentrate on facial serums is that it penetrates deep into the skin, gets absorbed quicker than any other products and starts working sooner than any other product.
I have been continuously using this elixir on my face ever since I received it and I have seen a noticeable difference on my skin. As I have oily skin, I like to use it at night before bed. With this product, my night time skincare has become in the following order- cleanser, scrub, toner and then the Tjori Night Skin Repair Elixir. I have replaced my regular moisturizer with this treatment. It might feel oily at first but it soon seeps into the skin and gets absorbed leaving the skin replenished and plumped. It’s the best effect you will see the morning after. The next morning my skin looks bright and rejuvenated without any trace of oil.
