Autumn signals new looks for fashion and style. What works for summer and spring looks unsuitable for fall and winter. As you rotate your closet to make way for heavier fabrics like wools, heavy knits and corduroy, it’s also time to revamp your cosmetics bag for the new season.

Linen and light cotton aren’t appropriate for cooler months and pastels definitely don’t work well on the face in fall and winter. The cooler temps usher in warmer palettes and jewel-toned hues. Think of fall’s colors—gold, red and orange. While not every fall shade might not compliment your look, the goal is to step away from summer’s breezy and light style and introduce richer shades.

Matte Lips

Best Makeup Trends for Fall 2017

Almost every major cosmetics brand offers a line of liquid matte lipstick. This is a staple must-have product—, especially in deeper shades or neutrals. What makes the matte liquid so great is that when it sets, it stays for hours. However, some formulas are better than others so you may need to try a few to find your favourites. If you’re on a cosmetics budget, I will tell you that some of the best liquid lippies are made by drugstore brands. See what’s on sale, and snag colour.

Updated Shadow Palettes

I look to Pantone to see what colours are huge for fall and winter. While popular YouTubers and even cosmetics giants will plug the latest and greatest palettes, the easiest way to stay on trend is to check Pantone. The current fall/winter colour forecast includes cool shades like Marina as well as Neutral Grey and warm rich fall hues like Autumn Maple, Butterum and Tawny Port. You know the hues that flatter…so choose the looks and colours that you love on you! If you want to try a darker shade like Peony Navy, use the colour as an accent on the eyelids…you don’t have to go all-in or all over the lid.

Don’t be afraid to incorporate metallic shadows into your beauty arsenal, too. Metallics are all the rage this fall!

Bye, Bye Waterproof

After the pool closes, waterproof mascara loses its allure. I use it daily as it tends to not make my lashes droop, but many fashionistas hate the task of removing the locked-on formula. Unless you plan on catching a tearjerker at the theatre, go back to your favourite easy-to-wipe-away mascara. The same advice extends to your waterproof eyeliner.

Buy New Foundation

Best Makeup Trends for Fall 2017

If you’re a bronze goddess in the summer, lucky you! But less sunlight means paler skin for many ladies. This is the prime time to adjust your foundation tone. Make sure to grab a shade lighter than the summer staple, and, for a while, you may need to mix the summer shade with the lighter shade to create the perfect match. What you don’t want is for your face to be ghostly white while your body still glows from the sun. You may also want to buy a more moisturizing foundation than what you used during spring and summer.

Baby Your Skin

Winter and fall are not easy on our skin. Many of us struggle with dry, itchy skin…or even bloody cracked hands. Make sure to stock up on moisturizers for your entire body. The face may need richer hydration—if you notice that your cheeks look dry, it’s time to make a switch. Moisture helps keep skin supple, so don’t skimp! Use hydrating oils like sandalwood or myrrh to help lock in moisture after a bath. You also shouldn’t pack away the sunscreen; dropping temperatures do not equate with less dangerous UV. Use sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) on any exposed areas (especially the face!).

As you clear out your closet to make room for sweaters and heavier fall/winter clothes, it’s time to clean out your beauty stash, too. Pack away products that scream summer and add in fall-friendly hues, richer moisturizers and back-to-basics mascara for a beauty look that will make you…fall!

How to Apply-

Step 2: Worked from the centre towards the outer edges of your lip, following the contours of your mouth.

Step 3: Glide the product across the entire bottom lip.

Step 4: This step is optional but you could use a tissue to blot out the extra product.

Shades-

The Lakme Enrich Lip Crayons range has a collection of 10 different shades. There are pinks, peaches, mauve, coral, red and nude. I am totally impressed by their vast shade range despite being so inexpensive. The shades I got are the following-

Lakme Enrich Lip Crayons Review | Cherry On Top

01 Berry Red

This one is the perfect red lipstick as it has some blue undertones to it. You’ll love it if you are looking for a budget true red matte lipstick. This one applies evenly and is very pigmented. A steal, I would say! It would look good on every Indian skin tone.

02 Red Stop

Another shade that would suit all Indian skin tones, Red Stop is a perfect orange-toned coral red lipstick.

03 Candid Coral

Candid Coral is a bright coral shade. This is such a pretty shade, perfect for summers. You must check this one out if you are looking for a budget-friendly coral lipstick.

Lakme Enrich Lip Crayons Review | Cherry On Top

07 Shocking Pink

This is a pretty fuschia pink in my opinion. It isn’t shocking as the name suggests. This colour has a slight hint of red in it. This is my favourite shade in this collection. This shade would suit almost all skin tones.

09 Cinnamon Brown

Cinnamon Brown is an everyday neutral/nude brown shade. It would be great for ‘no-makeup makeup‘ looks. For me, it is an MLBB shade. This would suit fair to medium skin tones. It would wash out dusky skin tones.

Texture-

The Lakme Enrich Lip Crayons are said to be matte, but the finish is actually semi-matte. It is a creamy formula that sets into a semi-matte finish. The product is quite sturdy, it doesn’t break while applying.

Staying Power-

These lip crayons stay on my lips for a good 4-5 hours without eating or drinking, which is good for a Rs 185 lipstick. The lip colours fade away from the centre of my lips as I eat or drink.

My Experience with  Lakme Enrich Lip Crayons-

Overall, I am quite happy with the lipsticks. First of all, they are super comfortable on the lips. The application isn’t very smooth. Make sure to moisturize your lips well before the application or it can tug and pull your lips while applying. The lip crayons don’t feel dry on the lips nor do they dry out your lips. They are not completely transfer-proof, the deeper tones have more tendency to transfer than the lighter ones.

Finally, we have a range that is conceptualised keeping college-going girls in mind. The price tag is so affordable that anybody can have their own Lakme Enrich Lip Crayons. I would highly recommend you guys to try at least one from the range. It is worth it.

Hello, everybody! How are you doing? Today’s post, as you can tell from the title, will be a review and swatches of the newly launched Oriflame The ONE Lip Sensation Vinyl Gel Liquid Lipsticks. I will be reviewing the formula of the liquid lipsticks and swatch all shades from the Oriflame Vinyl Gel Liquid Lipsticks collection. Are you as excited as I am?

As a continuation of their liquid lipsticks collection, Oriflame has launched another set of liquid lipsticks which, unlike their previous Matte Mousse collection, is a collection glossy lipsticks. There are 7 shades in this collection that ranges from pinks, purples, reds and one light peach shade. I’ll try and describe the colours as much as I can. So, here goes my review for the new Oriflame Vinyl Gel liquid lipsticks.

Price– Rs 699

Ingredients- Polybutene, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Octyldodecanol, Isohexadecane, Bis-Diglyceryl Polyacyladipate-2, Ethylene/Propylene/Styrene Copolymer, Polyethylene, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Butylene/Ethylene/Styrene Copolymer, Parfum, BHT, CI 77891, CI 45410, CI 15850, CI 45380, CI 42090

Description- Super-light liquid lipstick goes on like a gel, with an ultra-smooth plexiglass finish in 7 intense shades. Non-sticky, extreme colour coverage. Glides on easily for super-slick lips with perfect colour clarity. Conditioning formula keeps lips feeling soft. A definite head-turner.

Packaging- The Oriflame Vinyl Gel liquid lipsticks come in a transparent plastic tube packaging with steel coloured twist up lid. They can very well stand on their own so, it’s easy for you to store them. The packaging quite reminds me of the Lancome Juicy Shaker lip oils.

Formula- The formulation of these Vinyl Gel liquid lipsticks are very unique in terms of texture and application. The texture is gel like which makes it look like a gloss although it’s not a gloss. It sticks on to the lips and doesn’t bleed at all.

Shades- Oriflame Vinyl Gel Liquid Lipsticks come in 7 different shades ranging from pinks to purples to reds and peaches. Here I have tried my best to decode the shades-

  • Tangerine Tango- This is a pastel peach shade with a hint of coral. This shade is a very bright one, not something I would like to wear. This shade washes me out a bit. It would suit someone with a fair complexion or someone who loves bright/neon-y lip colours.
  • Malibu Blush- This shade is a neon-y pink shade that would look good on fair to medium complexion.
  • Pink Mambo- It is a bright reddish pink. It would suit almost all skin tones.
  • Sunset Burst- Sunset Burst is, as the name suggests, a very bright reddish coral shade.
  • Magnetic Magenta- This is not at all a magenta. This is a bright pink shade with some hint of purple in it.
  • Hot Flamingo- This one is a bright pink and probably my favourite shade among all.
  • Purple Rumba- A deep purple shade that would suit almost all Indian skin tones.

My Thoughts on the Oriflame Vinyl Gel Liquid Lipsticks

I am not a glossy lipstick lover. I am more of a matte lipsticks person. These Oriflame Vinyl Gel Liquid Lipsticks are very moisturising on the lips and feel comfortable for a long time. The staying power is not more than 3-4 hours. They don’t bleed. The glossiness goes away (not completely) after a few hours. They are not smudge-proof or transfer-proof. But then, You cannot expect these qualities from a texture like theirs. The pigmentation of this lipsticks is decent, not exceptionally pigment nor very poorly pigmented. One single application is not enough if you have pigmented lips like I have. You’ll need to apply two coats to get an almost opaque coverage. The thing I don’t like about these lipsticks is they feel very sticky on the lips. Overall, I am quite happy with these lipsticks.

Hi, guys! Hope you all are doing great. If you are following me for a long time, then you would know that I am a big fan of lip balms. This is something that I can not live without. I always carry a lip balm in my purse wherever I go. I have little dehydrated lips throughout the year. My lips get dry very easily. Plus, I am a matte lipstick lover and I want my lips to look nourished and plump whenever I apply a matte lipstick or matte lip stain. Thus, I cannot think my life without a lip balm. A couple of months ago, a brand called Island Kiss sent me a package containing three of their products. Today, I am going to review those three variants. So, let’s get started.

Island Kiss is a Lip Care  Brand inspired by Tropical Beaches across the world, fragrant coasts, salty air and lush notes of fruit and flower.” Island Kiss manufactures great quality lip moisturisers. All their products are 100% natural, pure and organic. The best thing is that their products are not tested on animals. A big yay for that! Check out more about them on their website http://www.myislandkiss.com/

The three variants that I received are Alma Vanilla & Inges Lavender, Cherry Blossom Flores and Puerto Berry Blush. I will be reviewing each of the variants individually.

Packaging- All the three variants of the Island Kiss lip moisturisers come in plastic, squeezy tubes with a screw cap closure. The applicator part is slanted resulting in a precise and easy application. Each tube has all the information like shade name, ingredients, direction to use written on it. So, you don’t need to worry if you lose the outer packaging.

My Experience with Island Kiss Tropique Pomade Lip Moisturizers

Island Kiss Lip Moisturisers Review| Cherry On Top
(L-R) Cherry Blossom Flores, Alma Vanilla & Inges Lavender, Puerto Berry Blush

I have been using the Island Kiss lip moisturisers for quite some time now and I have noted a few points about them that I am going to share with you now. First of all, do not expect them to be as hydrating as any other lip balm or chapsticks. These are lip moisturisers and they provide more lustre than hydration to your lips. Unlike a lip balm or lip butter, they are really light-weight. That’s why they are good for summers but in winters they cannot moisturise the lips very well and turns dry soon. These lip moisturisers are more like lip glosses. Apart from that, I like them for their lightweight property, they smell really good, they are organic, made of natural ingredients, do not contain lead, have SPF 15 and most importantly they are cruelty-free. The variants Cherry Blossom Flores and Puerto Berry Blush are more pigmented compared to the Alma Vanilla & Inges Lavender one. Puerto Berry Blush is my favourite of them all only because of the pigmentation and texture. It is also the most long lasting among the three.

Being gel/gloss like texture, you cannot wear them underneath your matte lipstick. They are good for daily use. The plastic tube packaging makes it perfect to travel with and also very hygienic. I would not recommend these if you are looking for something to try out this winter, but they are definitely great for summers. People with extremely dry or chapped lips should avoid them. I will repurchase the Alma Vanilla & Inges Lavender and Puerto Berry Blush whenever I run out of them.

Have you used any one of these Island Kiss lip moisturisers before? How was your experience?

October Favourites| Makeup, Skincare, Tech| 2015| Cherry On Top Blog
Hello all, happy weekend! First of all, I want to say that I am deeply affected by the news of the attacks in Paris. My heart goes out for the families of the victims. Let’s pray for Paris and the entire World. Let there be peace on earth.

Finally, all the festivities are over (I feel so low writing this) for now, until Christmas and all of us are headed back to our works. So, I am back with a new post for you guys. Today, I am going to talk about my October favorites. I know I am a little too late for this. It’s mid-November and I am writing about my October faves. But, there is always an excuse (which I am not going to repeat again!). So, without further ado, let me show you the products that have made it to my list of favourites.

October Favourites| Makeup, Skincare, Tech| 2015| Cherry On Top Blog

1. Vichy Eau Thermale- (150ml for 650/-)

I got this product in May and I have been using it continuously since then. I use it so much that I think I am now totally addicted to it. Since it’s getting cold and dry, I had to put it aside but believe me, it’s a tough job! This miraculous spray has done a great job for me during those scorching summer days. It made my face feel fresh and rejuvenated every time I sprayed it onto my face. I am kind of addicted to facial mists now and the Vichy Thermal Water is the reason behind it. I am going to post a full review on it very soon. Don’t forget to keep an eye on my Facebook Page for updates!
Price- 650/- for 150ml

2. Kama Ayurveda Pure Rose Water (200ml for 875/-)

If you are following this blog for quite some time, you must know that I had posted about the Kama Ayurveda Festive Gift Box for Durga Puja about a month ago. The box contained three full-sized skincare products which included the Pure Rose Water. This is perfect for you if you have oily skin issues. I have a very oily t-zone and the Rose Water has helped me controlling the oiliness around the area. I use it twice a day as a toner onto my cleansed face. As I told you earlier, I am a facial mist lover and this is certainly one of my favourites. Again, a full review on it is coming really soon.
Price- 875/- for 200ml

3. Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Solution

I used this product throughout the month of October to remove my makeup. It proved to be a saviour for during those festive days. I totally depended on this product. I just want to tell you that it did not worked so well for waterproof mascaras. It did remove it but not entirely. I have moved on to something new and it has already become my favourite. I have a full review on the Bioderma Sensibio H20 if you want to check out (click on the subtitle).

Price- 599/- for 100ml

4. Lakme Absolute Sculpt Studio Hi-Definition Matte Lipstick in Coral Flare

This was my favourite go to lipstick for the month of October. I love the shade. It’s coral and it suits my skin tone so very well. I love everything about it from the texture to the formula. Matte, coral lips are always sensational! I have a full review on this lipstick too. Click the above link to read the review.

Price- 700/-

5. Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Unapologetic

If you guys remember my Aplava Haul then you will know that this lip product was one of the items I got from that website. At first, I was a little skeptical about the shade because I thought it might wash me out but fortunately it did not. It goes really well with my complexion. I wore this like crazy during the Puja days. It has to be my current favourite lip colour. I had reviewed another shade from this range. If you are interested, you can click here to read.

6. Fame App

Now, on to the tech fave. The #Fame app has been my favourite ever since I did my first beam! I got an invitation from the Fame team to do some live beams (beams are just live streaming, nothing exceptional!) to which I readily agreed. As a blogger, the best thing that can happen to you ever is to chat with your readers and get their feedback, live! I did not want to miss the golden opportunity, so I created an account and started beaming. Now, I have been beaming for a month and a half and I am loving this experience. I am so glad and humbled that you guys are following me, liking my beams and appreciating my efforts. The #Fame app is available (free) both for Android and iOS. You can download the app here- http://dl.livfame.com/social. If you want to watch me live, my username is sayantinee. I would love to see you all there!

So, that was it for this post. I hope you liked my October favourites. Tell me what are you loving at this moment. I will be back with a new post soon. Till then, be safe & keep smiling!

Hi all, how was your day? Mine was a boring one. No one likes to study all day!

Anyways, today I have a very colourful post for you all. It’s March already, the transition time from Spring to Summer. Moreover, tomorrow is Bengal’s version of Holi. So, I thought of creating a look that is soft with a pop of colour. I chose the colours pink, peach and teal for this look. Have a look-

Products used-

(Face)

  • Lakme CC Cream
  • Kyolan Derma Colour Camouflage D-30
  • Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer
  • NYX Blush in Bourgeois Pig
  • Lakme 9 to 5 Flawless Matte Complexion Compact
(Eyes)
  • E.L.F. Eye-lid Primer
  • Beauty UK Eyeshadow Palette- Soho (Used the 1st row, 2nd Shade from the left)
  • Maybelline Colossal Liner
  • Maybelline Colossal Kajal
  • Inglot AMC Gel Eyeliner- 87
  • Maybelline Hyper Curl Mascara
(Lips)
  • Colorbar Velvet Matte Lipstick- Thrilling Pink
  • Maybelline High Shine Lip Gloss- Electric Shock

How to Achieve the Look-
Step 1: I started with my face first. I prepped my face with the Lakme CC Cream and then after color correcting my dark circles with the Kryolan Derma Color Camouflage cream, I concealed the under-eyes area and finished it off with a compact powder. Then I used a matte pink blush to the apples of my cheeks slightly dragging it diagonally.
You can apply a highlighter too, but as my skin has started getting very oily, I skipped it.
Step 2: Prep your eyes using a eyelid primer to prevent the eye-shadows from creasing. To make everything simple and short, I have used only one shadow to the lids. I took the peach-y shade from the Beauty UK palette, you can use any peach eye-shadow to achieve this look. After the eye-shadow, I then lined my upper lash-line with a liquid liner as thin as possible. Then, I tight-lined my eyes and applied a few coats of mascara only to the upper lashes. With the help of a stiff angled brush, I then lined my lower lash line with a teal coloured gel/cream eye-liner. This gives a sudden lift to the look.

Step 3: I applied a soft pink matte lipstick and then topped it off with a bright pink gloss. If you want the look to be less glossy, you can always blend the lip colours with the help of your finger.

That’s all, peeps! I hope you liked the look. The whole idea of this post is to share my ideas with you. You can always change the shades to create a whole new look as per your liking. If you ever re-create this look, don’t forget to share your pictures with me. I would like to showcase them on my social media. I will be back again very soon with a new post for you. Till then stay safe and keep smiling! Happy Holi in advance!
Save water, be kind to animals and celebrate the festival of colours safely and sincerely. Lots of love.

Here is my look inspired by the glitz and glam of the most glamorous Indian festival. Hope you enjoy it. Please read this post till the end for the disclaimer. Now, let’s get into the post-

Gone Gold | Simple and Easy Festive Makeup Tutorial (Step by Step)

Step 1: Prep your face with your favourite foundation and concealer and set it with a compact or loose powder.
Step 2: Fill in your brows with a black or deep brown eye shadow or eyebrow powder understanding your skin-tone. [Tip: Use an angled brush to fill in your eye-brows. It works precisely on the arches.]
Step 3: Prime your eyelids with any eyelid primer. I have used my favourite ELF eyelid primer. This step is mandatory in order to make your eye makeup last longer no matter how long you let yourself on the dance-floor.
Step 4: Now, apply the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bold Gold all over your lids, leaving the crease area. This will act as a base and will give your eye shadows something to stick to. [Tip: Apply the product with your finger. It will allow you to work smooth and it will distribute the product evenly on the lids.]
Step 5: Apply a golden eye shadow that best matches your skin all over the lids with the help of a good shader brush. Here you can also use your fingers to apply the eye shadow.
Gone Gold | Simple and Easy Festive Makeup Tutorial (Step by Step)
Step 6: Take a crease brush and apply a little bit of any matte black eye shadow and dab it on the outer ‘v’ of your eyes. Don’t overdo it. We just want a subtle hint of black to eliminate the flatness of the eye look and add a little definition.
Step 7: Blend it very well with a fluffy blending brush. [Tip: When you are using a black eye-shadow, make sure you blend it extra carefully. Don’t drag it to the entire lid.]
Step 8: Tightline the upper waterline with a jet black kohl. I have used the Maybelline Colossal Kajal as it lasts long. Curl your lashes and apply multiple coats of mascara. Make sure you apply generous coats of mascara on top and bottom lashes as we are not using any eyeliner to define the eyes. In this case, mascara will do it. Apply a flesh-tone shade to the brow bones. [Tip: Use a long-wear and water-resistant eye-pencil for tightlining the eyes. It won’t transfer and won’t smear the eye with black kohl.]
Step 9: Apply white kohl on your lower waterline. With the help of the same angled brush and black eye-shadow you used for the eyebrows and trace along your lower lash line, leaving the inner corners of your eyes. [Tip: Applying white liner on the lower waterline creates the illusion of bigger eyes.]
Step 10: Final look.

You can use your choice of products, it’s not mandatory to use what I used.

Disclaimer:
1. Makeup is not what I think is extremely important in our lives, nor that I preach that everyone should use makeup. Some like makeup and some don’t. It’s just like some people love dressing up and some love to be in their pajamas most of the time (Even I belong to the latter category :P). So, there is nothing wrong in doing makeup and nothing wrong in not doing it as well. One should not be judged in terms of their preferences.
2. I am not a makeup guru, nor that am I claiming myself a makeup expert. It’s just what I tried on myself and wanted to share with all of you. There are many expert makeup artists and bloggers who are way better than me. I do not compare myself to them as I feel I have a long way to walk before I reach that level. Please do not judge me.

The title of the post makes me the ‘official Gone Girl fanatic’. LOL 😛

I hope you liked the look and the tutorial. Feel free to comment below. Show your love, write down your queries and expert advices. Love you all. Till next time. Bye J

I am here again with yet another haul post. Recently, I bought some products from iHerb.com. I got some elf cosmetics products and a Real Techniques brush.

Also, I received my anniversary gift from boyfriend, which is actually a part of the gifts that he will be showering on me (ignore the exaggeration). It’s a ToniQ pouch/coin purse. He got it from Jabong.

I’ve also bought the much raved about Maybelline Colossal Turquoise Kohl from Nykaa.

So, let’s check out what I got-

I was eagerly wanting to buy some elf products, especially the Eye lid primer. When I got an opportunity to club with some other friends, one of them is a good friend Sushmita, I didn’t let the opportunity go. I bought, obviously the eyelid primer along with two of their matte lipsticks, in the shades Natural and Tea Rose (soon to be reviewed) and also laid my hands on the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush.

This is the ToniQ pouch that I received as a gift from boyfriend. I am so in love with the vintage floral prints that it has. This cute little thing has two compartments, that’s another amazing thing. Isn’t it adorable?

Here’s the most talked about turquoise blue kohl by Maybelline. I couldn’t afford to miss it!

I wanted to try a new cleansing wipes as I was quite bored with my previous ones. I got this facial wipes from Kara, which claims to have the benefits of cucumber and aloe vera. Believe me you guys, it works wonder as a makeup remover. I found it very handy when you want to clean your face or remove your makeup on the go or when you don’t feel like removing your makeup applying makeup remover solutions, cleansers and toner. It does a great job of cleaning your face perfectly.

That’s it by now friends. I hope you liked this small haul. It’s sad to say that this is going to be my last haul for next six months. I am on a shopping ban as I’ve a plan to do something really big for me. Wait for the surprise 😀

Effective Beauty Tips for Women Who Are Always in a Rush

Managing work and personal life is itself a cumbersome process for any woman. Not saying it’s only her job to do but if she does it, we want them to take care of themselves too. Our curated list of beauty tips for busy women is like a beautiful reminder for you to follow these easy shortcuts for looking and feeling beautiful every day. Find out how!

Plan Out Everything in Advance

One of the best beauty tips for busy women to save time is to plan out everything in advance. The maximum time we spend every morning is because of choosing clothes, deciding the type of makeup look, hairdo, and all of that. Imagine if you take 5-10 minutes a night before and plan out everything in advance, you can save your time from that morning rush of planning things out. The good you’ll plan out things before, the better and sorted day you’ll see the next day.

Prep Up Your Skin with a Hydrating Moisturiser

No matter how busy your life gets, some things should always remain a priority. One such thing is skin preparation. After you clean your skin with a mild cleanser, the next step is to tone it. It just refreshes your skin and balances the pH level of your skin. Once you’ve toned your skin, the next step is to moisturise it with a hydrating moisturiser containing feel-good ingredients. Remember, only good skin can help you achieve your desired makeup look.

Try Replacing Foundation with BB Creams

Trying to replace foundations with BB creams will help busy women save time. Foundation is a makeup product that requires proper technique, brush, and time to apply properly. Whereas BB creams are multi-tasking and easy to apply, protect, moisturise, and even tone the skin. So if you’re running short on time, BB creams are for you. Make sure to invest in one that contains good ingredients and is backed up by a well-known brand.

Don’t Shy Away from Using Multi-Purpose Products

Women love using multi-purpose products. They are easy to carry and handle making the lives of every busy woman easily glammed up. From using lipsticks as eyeshadow colour, lip tints as blush, lip gloss as a highlighter, to bb creams in place of foundation, multi-purpose products are just the best. The best part? They save your makeup bag space too!

Use Coconut Oil to Remove Makeup

Not only you would have heard of the morning rush but the end of the day tiredness too. It’s obvious women who work the whole day indoors or outdoors are less likely to have the energy to clean their makeup for hours. So here’s an easy way to remove makeup if you’re in hurry or tired by taking some coconut oil on a cotton pad. With the help of coconut oil, you easily and quickly wipe off your makeup. Trust us, the results are quite effective!

Try Using Dry Shampoo

If you don’t have enough time to shampoo and condition your hair, dry shampoos are worth a try. They can make your hair look amazingly great in only a few minutes. All you need to do is apply it to your roots and massage it smoothly. It’ll instantly make your hair look voluminous and beautiful.

Work is important but so is your skin and look. Therefore, we want all the busy women to look fresh and confident with ease and convenience. And because we value your time, we have helped you with some of the easiest and most effective beauty tips for busy women like you. Hope our tips help you in looking beautiful and healthy in no time.

Makeup is an integral part of my life. It’s not that I do makeup on a daily basis but most of the time when I am heading out, I like to do some makeup no matter how basic it is. If not a full face makeup, I cannot skip my kajal and lipstick and some compact if necessary. As much as I love doing makeup, I love taking it off at the end of the day. Let me confess something, I am a big makeup remover hoarder. I always have two spare bottles of makeup remover at my home! Recently, I have been loving the Brillare Micellar Water Mist to remove my everyday makeup. Keep reading this post for a brief review and a demo.

My Experience with Brillare Micellar Water Mist

Brillare scince Micellar Water Mist Review, Demo, Price

As I mentioned earlier, I am very particular about my makeup removal routine. No matter how tired I am, I never ever go to bed with makeup on. I always go for a makeup remover that is very mild and gentle on the skin and that doesn’t cause tugging and pulling of the skin because that might result in premature ageing and appearing of fine lines.

I have been using this Brillare Micellar Water Mist since December and I just love it. I used to use a bi-phase makeup remover (that contains water and oil) and it worked great for my makeup, especially heavy-duty waterproof eye makeup, but since I got my hands on this Micellar Water Mist, I haven’t looked back. One thing I really appreciate about the packaging is that they have made it a spray bottle, unlike any other brands. The spray nozzle assures you don’t use excess product or waste product.

How I like to use it is, spray twice (for light to medium makeup, thrice for heavy and waterproof makeup) on a cotton pad and press and swipe it along my face. For my eyes and lips, I like to press that cotton pad there for 10-15 seconds and then wipe it out. That process is followed by a gentle face wash. You can also use it when you are not wearing makeup. Let me tell you how. You can make it the first step of your skincare. Just take one spray on a cotton pad and swipe it across your face just to get rid of any traces of dirt and sweat off your face. It has glycerine so it will add some kind of hydration to your face and also take care of your skin.

It is also free from paraben, formaldehyde, artificial fragrance and colour.

Step-by-Step Demo-

Overall, I really liked this product and will certainly repurchase. It could be a perfect substitute for the Bioderma Micellar Water but in a much lesser price tag.

Which is your favourite micellar water?
