Hello everybody, today I am back again with a new post in the Fall series. I hope you are enjoying these posts. It breaks my heart to say that tomorrow’s post will be the last one in this series. If you are enjoying these posts then don’t forget to share them with your friends with the hashtag #fallwithcherryontopblog!

Today’s post is about a dramatic Fall look. If you are following this series then you would know that I did a Daytime Look for Fall a couple of days back. Today’s post is a dramatic one that is appropriate for Fall and the other upcoming festivities. I have used shimmery eye shadows to make the look perfect for the evenings.

All the eye shadows I used are from the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette. I have used the shade Creme Brulee to the entire lid and then applied the shade Cherry Cordial which is a nice burgundy shade to the crease taking it slightly upwards towards the brow bone. Then, I blended the two shades very well to eliminate any harsh line. To highlight the brow bones I used the shade White Chocolate. I took the Creme Brulee shade again to highlight the inner corners of my eyes. I applied the shade Cherry Cordial to the lower lash line as well to balance out the whole look. Then, I lined my upper lash line very thickly and created a wing at the end. I finished off the look with applied generous coats of mascara to my top and bottom lashes. I did not use any kohl or eye liner to my lower lash line. Finally, I applied some dark berry lipstick to my lips!
If you want me to create a step-by-step tutorial for this look then let me know that in the comments.

-Products Used-

Eye-shadows- Too Face Chocolate Bar Palette
Eye-liner- Maybelline The Colossal Liner
Mascara- Maybelline Hypercurl Mascara
I hope you liked today’s post. If you did then don’t forget to share this post. I will be back tomorrow with the last post of this series. Till then, be safe & keep smiling!

Previous Posts-

Hello, you guys! We have successfully reached the 5th day of the Fall Party. It makes me happy and sad at the same time. Happy, because I think I am doing great by posting everyday and sad because we have two more days until the party is over. But, not to worry, I have a lot of exciting posts coming after that! So, today’s post will be about an easy-peasy  brownie recipe. I call this the lazy people’s brownie. Anyways, let’s start.

I love baked food, especially brownies because they are so easy to make and you can eat them hot! Waiting for a cake/brownie is just not possible for me. Recently, I found a lazy edition of brownie that you can make in your coffee mugs! If you are a person that gets midnight cravings, like me, this recipe is perfect for you. Put all of your ingredients in a mug, microwave it and you are ready! Check out the recipe below-

Ingredients:

All purpose flour (maida)- 50 g
Castor sugar- 30 g (Depends on how sweet you want your brownie to be. I like it semi-sweet.)
Butter- 2 tbsp (melted)
Coco Powder- 2 tbsp
Milk- 50 ml

Method:

First, mix the dry ingredients in a microwave-safe mug. Then add the wet ingredients. Keep mixing until the mixture turns smoother. Clean up the edges and put the mug in the oven. Microwave in 100% (900w) for 3 minutes. Take out the mug and serve hot with some vanilla ice-cream.

Isn’t it easy? Do try this recipe at home and let me know how yummy it was! I will be back again with a new post tomorrow. Till then, be happy & keep smiling!

Day 4

Hello all, welcome to the fourth day of the Fall Party. Today, I decided to write about an outfit that I found has become my favourite this season. Let me show you-

Indian Fall/Autumn is not at all cold, in fact it is really hot here in India right now. To keep it all casual and breezy, I chose to wear a basic white tee with a pair of red printed trousers. The trousers are very comfy and at the same time, stylish.

I accessorized the whole outfit with a chunky golden neck piece, bought from Flipkart.

My flats are from Osca Donna, a comparatively new brand that provides hand made, designer shoes. These are the comfiest shoes I have ever worn in my life. The leather is not those hard ones that end up causing blisters to your feet. I found this brand on Flipkart.

My black sling back is my new BFF for quite sometime now. I prefer slings and satchels to handbags.

-Outfit Details-
White Tee- Miss Chase
Printed Pants- Dressberry
Flats- Osca Donna
Neck piece- Flipkart
Sling bag- Caprese

So, did you guys like this outfit? Comment if you are a casual lover like I am! Hope you are loving this #fallwithcherryontopblog series. If you do then don’t hesitate to share the posts on your social media platforms. I will be back again with a new post tomorrow. Don’t forget to join in. Till then, be safe & keep smiling!

Hello everyone, welcome to Day 3 of the Fall Party. I can’t believe it’s already day 3 of the week! I hope you are enjoying these posts. Hugs for those who have engaged with this activity and sharing the posts unconditionally. Love you all!

In today’s post I thought of sharing 5 of my favourite lipsticks which I consider perfect for Fall time. Most of them are drugstore brands. So, let’s get into the post!

1. Deborah Milano Rossetto Atomic Red Lipstick- 07: This lipsticks are really creamy thus moisturizing. My lips tend to get dry during this season and this lipstick fights that. I love the shade as well. It is very close to the Pantone Colour of the Year 2015, Marsala.

2. NYX Butter Lipstick- Razzle: I love this lip colour a lot beacause of the shade. It instantly brightens up your face. It’s creamy, feels literally like butter on your lips. You might have noticed it in my last haul. Read here.

3. Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick- P130: If you follow me on Instagram and Facebook, you will know that I posted a picture of mine wearing this lipstick and asked you to guess the range. This is the lipstick I was wearing in the picture. There is no lipstick in my kitty which as as Autumn-y (sorry for my poor vocabulary) as this one. The best part is that it retails for Rs 260 only!

4. MAC Girl About Town: This is again a creamy lipstick. The bright fuchsia shade is just perfect for Fall, at least for me it is.

5. MAC Ruby Woo: Last but not the least is my favourite of MAC lipsticks, Ruby Woo. A Fall makeup is incomplete without the classic red lipstick. Ruby Woo is the perfect red lipstick for me. The blue undertone best suits my complexion.

I hope you like the post. Don’t forget to share the post if you liked it. See you tomorrow in my new post. Till then be safe & keep smiling!

Day 1- I Love Fall Tag

Hey guys, thanks for coming to the second day of the Fall Party. Today, I am going to share a daytime makeup look with you all which is perfect for fall/autumn. This makeup look is perfect for the days you want to look a bit more special without any hassle. This quick and simple everyday makeup look will be perfect for autumn and winter days. So, let’s get into the details now-
1. Face- As I do not like foundations in daytime, I opted for my Lakme CC Cream. I applied my MeMeMe Concealer on the problem areas like under the eyes, around my nose and mouth. I used my Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer over the concealer and a little bit down the bridge of my nose, on my forehead and chin to highlight those areas. Then, I set my under-eye area with the Lotree Rosa Davurica Powder Pact that I received in my Wishbox Cosmic Bloom (Read Here) and used my Lakme 9 to 5 Flawless Matte Complexion Compact for the rest of my face and neck.
For blush, I used my NYX powder blush in Espresso. I did a little bit of contouring with the Sleek Face Contour Kit. I am still learning the art of contouring, so, please pardon me for any mistake.

2. Eyes- First of all, I primed my eyes with the ELF Eyelid Primer. The I applied the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk to the entire eyelid up to the crease. Then I took some burnt orange type of shade from (I am very bad at describing colours) my BH Cosmetics Day & Night palette and swiped it across my crease, taking it slightly up towards the brow bone. Then, I took a matte beige shade from the same palette and applied it to the entire eyelid with a patting motion (this gives the maximum coverage and pigmentation). I blended the two colours very well to eliminate any harsh line. I also applied some matte brown eye shadow along the lower lash line to intensify the look.
I lined my upper lash line with the Maybelline The Colossal Liquid Liner creating a wing at the end. For mascara, I opted for the Maybelline Hyper Curl mascara.

3. Lips- For the lips, I chose a bright reddish colour to brighten up the face and at the same time keeping it wearable. I have the Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Sculpting lipstick in Envious. I got the sample with my Sephora purchase (Read Here).

That’s all, guys! I hope you liked the post. I kept the look pretty simple. It is easy and really quick! So, you can try this out even if you are not a pro. With this post, I wrap the the second day of the Fall Party. Share the posts as much as you can to make this a hit! See you tomorrow with a new post. Till then, be safe & keep smiling!

Hello all, how are you doing? I can’t believe September is about to bid goodbye and October is not too far away. I can’t suppress my excitement as Durga Puja starts on October 19th!! Gosh, one more year passed! Anyways, today’s post is going to be an OOTD post. A few weeks ago, we spontaneously planned for a day-out with our friends. This was an impromptu OOTD so excuse me for the quality of photos. I brought the usual point and shoot camera with me. The background and lighting aren’t as good as they should have been as the trip was not meant for photography. Anyhoo, I succeeded in choosing some good quality pictures for this post as I eagerly wanted to share the outfit with you guys.

So, without further ado, let’s jump into the post.

You guys might know that I am not an ‘ethnics’ person. I feel extremely comfortable in my jeans or chinos and oversized blouses. I rarely choose to wear ethnic outfits only if there is any traditional function or wedding. This is the reason I merely have 4-5 traditional outfits. If I ever choose to wear an ethnic attire, I make sure that it is not heavy, bland and most importantly conventional.

The Kurti that I am wearing is my favourite at this moment because it is very  lightweight, it has 3/4 sleeves and it has a high-low cut which is just what I need in my ethnics- cool, classy, casual! The material is Poly Crepe which is not breathable yet comfortable.

I wore these white and gold sandals which I think complemented the ‘ethnic-ness‘ of the outfit.

I didn’t accessorized much as it was very hot and humid and of course I had no plans of clicking for the blog. I wore a pair of beautiful golden earrings from Gotta Go Gorgeous.

My sling bag is from Caprese. I love the faux leather material. The black and gold combo gives it a oomph. I love slings bags so much and this one is my current favourite!

Parineeti Chopra flashes her curves! Looks hotter than ever on the Juice Cover

Welcome the new Parineeti Chopra! Looking hotter than ever, the actress sizzles on the Juice coverpage! So, what makes her fit? How this actress is setting the pages of this fashion magazine on fire? Let’s decode the sultry avatar of the ‘Ishaqzaade’ actress.

What’s there that is making this actress look hot? Being at the receiving end of flak, Parineeti Chopra admits she was fat. As she struggled with her yo-yoing weight, she even abhorred being on the list of worst-dressed Bollywood celebs as access to best of designer clothes wasn’t for her. All she tried in terms of fashion was to hide her plumpness with clothes.

“Look, let’s admit it, I was fat,” says Parineeti. The actress continues, “It’s true. For a while I was on every ‘Worst Dressed’ list out there. I was fat and I would not get access to the best of clothes. I’d constantly be covering up and not wearing clothes that were right for my body.” The actress took some time to learn how to style herself and realized that she needs to work out for a “better body”.

Off the limelight for almost a year now, the actress was enjoying the phase and utilized this time to achieve a fitter self. Now what you see on the cover is all her hard work. Dressed to kill in black fringed camisole by Mango and ripped denim shorts by Only, Parineeti sauces up the Juice cover. The beauty bones are prominent, and she has gone from flabbier to fitter. The hour-glass figure suits her, and she got curves to flaunt.

The reason behind this new ‘her’ is extensive training in kalarippayattu. The martial art from Kerala is helping the actress to get toned, but she is also following a strict diet regimen. A sculpted midriff indeed tells the tale of her patience and persistence.

In a candid tete-a-tete with the Juice magazine the actress talks about everything under the sun. From thinking films are a waste of time to being bitten by the acting bug, the actress has talked her heart out. Shot by ace fashion photographer Prasad Naik, she is styled by Daniel Franklin. Here is Juice September cover girl fit and fabulous like never before.
