Hi guys, hope you are doing well. Today, I am going to present to you a much awaited review. I think I have posted a sneak-peek of this about 3 months ago on my Facebook page but did not get a chance to write. So, I thought of posting it today. Today’s review is of one of my favourite lipsticks that is the Street Wear Color Rich Ultra Moist Lipstick in the shade Pink Persuasion. 

If you guys know me then you must know how much I love lip colours. I don’t step out without putting my favourite lip color on. I mostly love matte shades but they usually tend to dry my lips out during the colder months of the year so I like to replace my matte lipsticks with the moisturizing ones. I make sure to apply the lipsticks that are creamy but not glossy. I found this range of lipsticks from Steer Wear that is perfect for me. I got the shade Pink Persuasion for me because when it comes to lipsticks I have an inclination towards pinks. You might have seen this lipstick in my Aplava Haul post. I have been loving this lipstick since then and have started using continuously from the beginning of this month. Now, let’s jump into the review-
Price- Rs 220

The shade, Pink Persuasion is a part of the re-launched range of Ultra Moist lipsticks by Street Wear. This range was primarily priced at Rs 180 but now it retails for Rs 220.

Packaging- The lipstick bullet is housed in a pretty, black, plastic packaging with a clear cap which has a pop-art print on it. This makes the packaging really attractive. The packaging somehow reminds me of The Balm packaging. I felt the packaging is not that sturdy. Plus, the lipstick does not complete go inside the bullet which I feel is really annoying because then there is a possibility of damage when you try to put the cap on.

Shade- Pink Persuasion is a very wearable rosy pink with a hint of coral. The subtlety of the shade makes it appropriate for any occasion such as office, party or dates be it daytime or night time. Because of the red undertone, it can suit every complexion very well.

Texture/ Pigmentation/Wear Time- The texture of the lipstick is very creamy. It glides on really easily and does not settle into creases. It moisturizes the lips really well thus it is perfect for those who have dry lips throughout the year. It’s a perfect pick for winter time as we tend to have chapped lips during this time of the year.

The pigmentation is surprisingly good for the price you pay. It covers up my dark upper lip well with 2-3 coats. It manages to give an decent finish on the first swipe. You can build up the colour for more intensity.

The staying power of this lipstick is also good for such a low price. It lasts about good 3-4 hours on my lips without eating and drinking anything.

  • Creamy texture that gives out a semi-matte finish after application.
  • Lightweight formula.
  • Moisturizes lips very well.
  • Doesn’t settle into creases. 
  • Decently pigmented. 
  • Buildable colour.
  • Has a decent wear time.
  • Available in stores and leading e-commerce sites. 

Downs-

  • The packaging must have been more sturdy.
  • I wish I had a longer staying power. 

Overall, I am happy with my purchase. It comes handy whenever I fail to decide on the perfect lipstick. It’s more like a tinted lip balm that feels light on m lips yet giving the right amount of tinge for an everyday look. For a tinted-lip-balm-and-mascara person like me it’s a best option that too within budget.

Hello people, hope you are doing well! Finally it has started getting chilly outside and I feel it’s the time to transition into Winter or late Fall. The weather is a bit confusing- the days are hot and it gets colder after dark. It might not be the same throughout India, especially if you are living in a Metro city but in my area it is already winter. You have to keep something warm to get yourself wrapped into if you are travelling. It becomes very irritating for me to dress up like half-summer and half-winter!
Keeping the weather in mind, I teamed up a summer dress with a warm, cozy shrug to make the outfit more wearable for late fall or early winter. The royal blue dress is from Sammydress.com which I showed you in my recent haul. The material of the dress is very soft and comfy. I love how it emphasizes my body shape. Despite being a soft material it does not cling to my body which is a great thing!It has a pull string on the waist area. I feel it has the perfect length for my liking, not much above the knees nor below it. I feel this length makes me look taller. I am in love with this dress. I can totally see myself pairing this dress up with some jacket during the winter.

I chose a pair of black ballerinas to give the whole outfit a very casual look. The gold detailing on the flats are my favourite. I love how it makes the mundane black ballerinas something special. My sling bag has the same thing. It is black with beautiful gold detailing.

Hello all, happy weekend! First of all, I want to say that I am deeply affected by the news of the attacks in Paris. My heart goes out for the families of the victims. Let’s pray for Paris and the entire World. Let there be peace on earth.

Finally, all the festivities are over (I feel so low writing this) for now, until Christmas and all of us are headed back to our works. So, I am back with a new post for you guys. Today, I am going to talk about my October favorites. I know I am a little too late for this. It’s mid-November and I am writing about my October faves. But, there is always an excuse (which I am not going to repeat again!). So, without further ado, let me show you the products that have made it to my list of favourites.

1. Vichy Eau Thermale- (150ml for 650/-)

I got this product in May and I have been using it continuously since then. I use it so much that I think I am now totally addicted to it. Since it’s getting cold and dry, I had to put it aside but believe me, it’s a tough job! This miraculous spray has done a great job for me during those scorching summer days. It made my face feel fresh and rejuvenated every time I sprayed it onto my face. I am kind of addicted to facial mists now and the Vichy Thermal Water is the reason behind it. 2. Kama Ayurveda Pure Rose Water (200ml for 875/-)

If you are following this blog for quite some time, you must know that I had posted about the Kama Ayurveda Festive Gift Box for Durga Puja about a month ago. The box contained three full-sized skincare products which included the Pure Rose Water. This is perfect for you if you have oily skin issues. I have a very oily t-zone and the Rose Water has helped me controlling the oiliness around the area. I use it twice a day as a toner onto my cleansed face. As I told you earlier, I am a facial mist lover and this is certainly one of my favourites. Again, a full review on it is coming really soon.

3. Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Solution 

I used this product throughout the month of October to remove my makeup. It proved to be a saviour for during those festive days. I totally depended on this product. I just want to tell you that it did not worked so well for waterproof mascaras. It did remove it but not entirely. I have moved on to something new and it has already become my favourite. 4. Lakme Absolute Sculpt Studio Hi-Definition Matte Lipstick in Coral Flare 

This was my favourite go to lipstick for the month of October. I love the shade. It’s coral and it suits my skin tone so very well. I love everything about it from the texture to the formula. 5. Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Unapologetic 

If you guys remember my Aplava Haul then you will know that this lip product was one of the items I got from that website. At first, I was a little skeptical about the shade because I thought it might wash me out but fortunately it did not. It goes really well with my complexion. 6. Fame App

Now, on to the tech fave. The #Fame app has been my favourite ever since I did my first beam! I got an invitation from the Fame team to do some live beams (beams are just live streaming, nothing exceptional!) to which I readily agreed. As a blogger, the best thing that can happen to you ever is to chat with your readers and get their feedback, live! I did not want to miss the golden opportunity, so I created an account and started beaming. Now, I have been beaming for a month and a half and I am loving this experience. I placed my order with Sammydress.com on 9th of September and I received it on 26th October which is really a long time but there is something I want you to know. On 10th of October, I mailed the PR who ordered the stuff for me and asked for the current status of my order. It was already one month and I was a little too worried. She told me that the package is stuck with the Indian customs, it had already reached the Kolkata hub. I was relieved but not completely. I have had heard a lot of things about the customs and believe you me, they were not that pleasant. On 26th October, I received the package, totally intact. 
Payment, Shipping, Return and Packing

Sammydress.com offers a number of payment options like Credit Cards, Paypal, Western Union money transfer etc. With so much options your shopping is always smooth and easy.  
My order was under $25 and I did not have to pay for shipping or customs. 
They offer a 30 return policy for wrong size, wrong shipments, damaged product, missing items or partial delivery.  
The package in which the products came in was absolutely well packed, there was no sign of damage and the items inside it was in good condition. 

My Experience

Prior to my order I had googled for the website numerous times and I saw a few claims that Sammydress.com is not legit and it’s a scam. But, I had to chuck them off because I did not have any problem with the shopping and the items as well. All the items I got was very well packed, in perfect condition and they are of really good quality. I did not have any issue with the sizing or the fit of the items I got. No doubt, they sell quality products. I did not have to contact the customer care service so can’t tell much about that but the PR was really supportive and replied to my mails instantly. I hope the customer care service for non-bloggers are good in the same way.

Jabong Strengthens Leadership with New CEO| Media Release

Fashion industry veteran Sanjeev Mohanty to steer next growth phase of India’s leading online fashion marketplace

New Delhi, Oct. 31, 2015: India’s leading online fashion marketplace, Jabong, has announced that it has appointed Mr. Sanjeev Mohanty as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director effective early December 2015.
Mr. Mohanty has over 20 years of leadership experience in the fashion industry, primarily at Benetton India where he worked for over 11 years including 8 years as Managing Director. Prior to his role at Benetton India, Mr. Mohanty worked at Madura Garments as General Manager and Brand Head for SF Jeans and at Levi Strauss as Product Manager for the topwear category. He studied at the National Institute of Fashion Technology, where he pursued a Masters degree in Apparel Marketing & Merchandising, Fashion & Retail Marketing.
