Oh holidays, the sweet blissful time when everyone is sinful. It is the season when we indulge in food and drinks and often neglect to care for our skin, hair and the amount of sleep we are having. What we eat and how we are sleeping is reflected the most on our skin and sometimes hair too.
Often we do not even notice the consequences until the season passes. What then? You can deal with these issues, recover and shine like a Christmas tree for months after the holidays. All you need is a couple of days of proper care to regain your beauty.
Here are some steps you can take to achieve that.
 Detox from the Inside!
Your hair, skin and organism have been exposed to harmful influences, both from the outside and inside. That is why you have to get rid of those toxins endangering your health and appearance by detoxification.
Boost Your Beauty: How to Shine After the Holidays| Guest Post by Sophia Smith| cherryontopblog.com

First, you need to cleanse from the inside. Do that by banishing any unhealthy foods and stock your home with healthy ingredients. Start every day with some form of physical activity and by eating a healthy breakfast (cereals, fruits, yogurt, etc.). At nighttime you should consume lighter food. At lunch and dinner, eat lean protein, such as poultry and seafood.
Drink a lot of water and green or ginger tea. Start your day with one glass of water with lemon juice and a spoon of honey. Eat at least one fresh salad a day. Include some of the “detox wizards” (beets, cabbage, hazelnuts, avocado, almonds, etc.) in your diet.
Take Care of Your Skin
If you have had enough eggnog for the season, you should consider something less harmful for your skin. Opt for other wintery foods that are good for your health, such as sweet potatoes, cocoa and turkey.

Once you have made adequate changes within, you should start battling the damage from the outside. Avoid heavy makeup to give your skin time to rest. Choose organic products with fewer synthetic ingredients. Improve circulation and stimulate toxin release by your lymphatic system using dry-brushing.
Avoid harsh soaps and opt for pH neutral and chemical-free cleansing products. Use face masks which contain avocado and vitamin E. Choose a quality moisturizer with an SPF and apply it every day.
Recover Your Hair and Nails
Your hair is a sign of your overall health. Adequate nutrients in your diet are helping your hair and nails look beautiful and shiny. Sufficient amounts of vitamin B and calcium are exactly what you need to kickstart your hair recovery. You can get those nutrients by consuming dairy products and leafy greens, but you can also include calciumsupplements, to battle the calcium deficiency.
Boost Your Beauty: How to Shine After the Holidays| Guest Post by Sophia Smith| cherryontopblog.com

After you have taken care of your hair health within, the first thing you should do is to visit your hairdresser and cut the ends. Treat your hair with a scalp massage with essential oils or serum. Some celebrities, such as Miranda Kerr and Candice Swanepoel, use coconut oil to stimulate hair growth. Do not wash your hair more than three times a week, but opt for dry shampoo instead. Avoid hair straighteners and styling gels.
Also, you can improve your nail health by avoiding nail polish for some time and rubbing in olive oil to boost their recovery. Wear protective gloves when washing the dishes or performing some house chores which require the use of chemicals.
Holidays are a lovely time of the year. Still, they often lead to extremes which are only harming your health and appearance. Do not allow for that to happen. Fight back with a proper diet and a new beauty routine, and you will shine through the whole following year.

Skin is the canvas where the traces of years, experience, mistreatment, neglecting, bad diet and other influences are reflected. That’s why it demands special care and attention. Attaining desired radiant glow is never easy, but it’s not impossible. Skin radiance comes from both inside and outside.
To achieve the best and lasting results, you’ll have to change some habits from the roots, build skincare routine and, if needed, change your nutrition. Don’t worry, there is still time to do that, start with the new practice this guideline will recommend first thing in the morning and don’t give up. You’ll be amazed with the results.

 Glowing inside out

As mentioned above, healthy diet makes half of smooth and youthful skin. By eating certain foods, you can achieve perhaps even better results than with skincare products.
Nutrient that are rich with omega-3 fatty acids supply your skin with oils that can reduce inflammation and thus prevent acne, redness and scaly skin. Trout, salmon and herring are the best fishes for the job.
Foods with Vitamin C (kiwi, lemon, orange, tomato) stimulates collagen production and protects skin against wrinkles. The extra treat is dark chocolate which is helping your skin stay soft and hydrated. Speaking of hydration, it is crucial that you drink at least 2 liters of water (non-carbonated) per day, and sometimes even more.

Skincare routine

Developing healthy skincare routine is one of the most important steps to take to achieve wanted results. This means you need to wash your face regularly, especially before going to bed. Use makeup remover, gentle soap and only then rinse with water. Remove excess oil with toner and then apply moisturizer.
Make it a habit to exfoliate once a week in order to remove excess skin cells. You can make your own exfoliator or buy trusted product in a store. To keep your skin youthful, protect it from the sun, by applying sunscreen every time you are going outside.

 Finishing touches

If you are following these steps you already have glowing skin which needs just a bit more shine. For that, you can use woman’s most trusted tool – makeup.
Start the beautifying process with a primer to create a hydrated and smooth surface. Next, even out the tan with foundation (choose it based on your tan and skin type). If needed, cover spots (acne, redness) with concealer. Lock it all in with powder and accentuate cheekbones with blush or bronzer. Add an extra touch with nude or peach shade lip gloss. The results will be astonishing!
Soft pencil or eyeliner can be very effective solution if you want to highlight your eyes. You can apply the standard one or opt foreyeliner tattoo. However, for evening plans, you’ll need to try a little harder to make your skin glow and cheekbones pop, perhaps do some highlighting and contouring, and you are just few strokes of a makeup brush away from the Hollywood diva look.
There is no reason to have dull and dry skin if you can make it radiant. Where filet of salmon can’t help and exfoliating is just scratching the surface, some primer, foundation and blush will do the trick.

I am not blessed with good hair. Congratulations to those who are. Every time I leave my hair open and step outside, it starts to behave in a weird way. I generally travel by public transport(local trains, most of the time) and love the window-seats. No matter how well you’ve applied your hair-spray you can’t avoid hitting by a continuous wave of wild wind and finally turning into a mass of hey or a scarecrow. Whenever I decide to let my hair open I end up changing my mind because it is either too hot outside or I start to feel uncomfortable (I am a bun and ponytail person, guys!).

Packing my bag for a day, I always forget to pack hair-ties or clips which leads to an absolute mayhem and I come home with a knotty and messy hair. I have recently come across an article on Rewardme, which I felt is wrote for me and lots of others who face the same problem. This article shows five products that can be proved essential if you have a bad hair day. These five things are-

1. Bobby Pins- Bobby pins need no introduction. We all know how victorious is the moment when we find a bobby pin in our purse to grab a rebellious lock of hair. You hair is all over the place or your bun becoming way too messy, don’t worry you have got a saviour, a bobby pin! The article also teaches you the right way to put a bobby pin.

2. Dry Shampoo: Dry shampoos come in handy if you have a oily scalp like mine. My hair starts to get oily from the second day. As soon as it seems oily it seems thin and unhealthy. All you have to do is to keep a travel-sized dry shampoo in you purse, spray it whenever you need it and it will make your hair look fresher and healthier instantly.

Source- okwow

3. Hairspray: Just as I mentioned earlier, hairsprays (for me, a strong hold is must) are must-have if you have terribly unruly hair like mine.

Source- dazzlebeautystore

4. Mini-toothbrush: Now, I was completely unaware of this thing. Thanks you Rewardme for this tip! A tooth-brush has manifold usages. You can spray some hairspray onto the brush and use it to tame your baby hairs along the hairline or the frisky flyaways.

5. Clear Ponytail Holders: This one is my favourite among all as I love to do it myself every time I feel uncomfortable with the open hair. It is the easiest way to manage your unruly hair yet look fashionably attractive. Just tie up your hair in a ponytail using clear ponytail holders.

That’s all for this article. I found it really helpful because most of us have to (almost) fight to make our hair look perfect for the day. Somedays your hair behaves well and somedays it is unruly as hell. I hope you guys found the article helpful too. Feel free to share your opinions in the comments.

“I am participating in the ‘Ready For Rewards’ activity for Rewardme in association with BlogAdda.”

Hey all, hope you’re doing good. I am slowly recovering from my winter-laziness as spring is round the corner. You must know how much I love spring! Today I am going to be sharing a haul post with you all. Before you get shocked by the expenditure, let me tell you that these aren’t bought at the same time. These are the products I have been accumulating from last November. I was waiting for my U.S. order to reach me, hence the delay. Now, let’s see what I actually have to show you-

Disclaimer! That tiny little yellow clasp clip is not included in the haul. I just forgot to remove it from there before clicking the pictures. So, don’t get confused 😛

Flipkart Haul

1. L’Oreal Paris Elnett Satin Hair Spray: I was in a hunt for this hair spray ever since I saw Dulce Candy using it and praising it in one of her tutorials. I couldn’t help grabbing it myself when I saw it on sale on Flipkart. I got it for 850 bucks and I think it was a pretty good deal considering its availability. I have already started using it but I would like to take some more time to finally talk about it.
2. L’Oreal Paris Studio Line Hot & Smooth Hot Straight Spray: And that was literally mouthful! It’s basically a heat protecting spray and I got this because I had to get a heat protecting spray straight away. End of the Story!

Random Haul

1. Tresemme Hair Spa Rejuvenation Shampoo: I went to the Big Bazar the other week to get some breakfast items and I just managed to get a shampoo along with them. It had to be Tresemme because I am a fan of this brand. Sadly I was in a hurry and thus forgot to pick up the conditioner with it.
2. Matrix Opticare Split-end Serum: I love Matrix serums for some reasons. I used their Biolage serum and loved it. This time I opted for this one. I got it from a local store.
3. Lotus Herbals Ecostay Nourishing Foundation:  I am not a foundation person. I mostly go out with bare face just some compact on or occasionally use a BB cream. Being a lazy person the fear of blending foundations has always stopped me from using them (except Parties and Weddings). This time I had to get one because I had to attend one of my friend’s wedding and I ran out of my foundation. So, that was the only opportunity for me to try my hands on a new foundation. I wanted to get the Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation but my shade was out of stock at the store. Then the SA suggested me to try the Lotus Herbals Ecostay one. I was really impressed to see that it blended into my skin effortlessly and gave a very natural finish. I spent almost no time in buying it. Not every purchase brings me the ultimate happiness, but it did.

4. The Body Shop Moringa Body Butter: Recently The Body Shop was offering 50% discount on the body butters. No one could have ignored the offer! Shayoni (Sweet And Bitter Blog) helped me choosing a body butter and I am happy to purchase it as it’s not so thick for my normal skin (I have an oily/combination facial skin and a normal body skin, if you know what I mean!). I am loving this since I started using it. A review will be up very soon.

U.S. Haul

The two persons who are behind this segment are Titi (Tsering Yangzom) of Titi’s Corner and Sanandita di (Sanandita Chakraverty). I was desperately looking for someone who could procure me some products from the U.S. when Sushmita, a very good friend told me about Titi and Sanandita di. Titi helped me in getting the BH Day & Night Palette and Sanandita di helped me in getting the rest of what you can see here. A special thanks to her husband, Abhijit da.

1. BH Day & Night Palette: I wanted to buy either the BH Cosmetics Party Girl After Hours palette or this one but decided to get this finally. It has 60 shades appropriate for both day and night time. It includes both mattes and shimmery shades. I will review and swatch them for you soon.

2. Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette: I had received a $15 gift card from Sephora which made it possible for me. Honestly, I won’t have spent that much money on a palette otherwise. Chocolate Bar palette by Too Faced is very popular amongst all the beauty bloggers and vloggers that’s why I was fascinated to buy it. Receiving it, I know why it is so famous. This is my first impulsive purchase and my first frenzied expenditure.
3. NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk: I bought this to prep my eyelids beforehand as light shades of eye-shadows do not pop up on my eyelids as I have heavily pigmented eyelids.

4. NYX Butter Lipstick in Razzle: This is a gorgeous fuchsia shade and you guys should know how much I love fuchsia! These lipsticks are super affordable and superbly pigmented.

5. Real Techniques Miracle Sponge: I call it a ‘Poor people’s Beauty Blender’. Honestly I didn’t have enough money to purchase a Beauty Blender so I opted for this. Many bloggers have raved about it and I wanted to try its efficiency myself.
Samples!!

As I bought the Too Faced palette from Sephora, I was chosen to receive three samples. I decided to opt for the perfumes because I didn’t find any logic in buying skincare samples that could only be used once or twice. Perfumes at least could be used several times. I’ve got the samples of Flora by Gucci, Escada Joyful and Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Pour Homme. I was also gifted another sample for applying a special coupon and it’s the Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick. It has four gorgeous lipstick samples. I am dying to try them out.

That’s all folks! Please let me if you liked this post or not and which of the products you liked the most. Hope to see you soon again with a new post. In the mean time, be sure to check out my Facebook Giveaway. It’s ending on 14th February. Till then stay safe and keep smiling!

Hello everyone, today’s review is on my favourite of the Revlon Matte Balms and it is the Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm Sultry. If you are following me on FaceBook you would know I have shared a picture of a Shopperstop package and asked you to guess what I got for myself. Today, I am sharing it. How can I be left behind while the whole nation is raving about the Revlon Matte Balms that has been recently launched in Indian market along with the other variant i.e. Lacquer Balms! When I first saw international beauty bloggers reviewing Matte Lip Crayons and swatching the Matte Balms, I was head over heels in love with the lovely shades. As I was preparing my list for the shades I was about to procure from the U.S., I heard the good news. The super-gorgeous lippies were introduced to India!

I have used their Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains and loved them. As a matte lipstick lover, I got to try out the Matte Balms. There are 8 scrumptious shades, from pinks to reds, plums to browns. I had shortlisted 3 shades from this range, among which, two were pink. Not all pinks suit my skin tone so without taking any risk I chose the 3rd one, which is named as Sultry.

Packaging: These Matte Balms come in a wonderful matte packaging. It comes in a pencil/crayon kind of form with a twist-up bottom and a tight cap. You don’t need to sharpen them, only twist the bottom.

Shade: I am really bad at describing colours, but I will try to do it for you. Sultry is actually a mixture of matte pink, plum and brown, as my eyes can identify. Whatever it is, I like it very much. It will suit almost all Indian skin tones.

Product (Texture, Pigmentation & Staying power): The product is very creamy in texture and easily glides on the lips. It gives a decent coverage in a single swipe and goes absolutely opaque in two swipes. You don’t need to layer it but if you want to make it more intense, you can always layer it up. It doesn’t give you the powdery, drying matte effect, it actually has a velvety matte formula which doesn’t let your lips dry out. I have a tendency to eat up my lipsticks, nothing stays on my lips more than 2-3 hours, does that happen to any of you or I am the only one with this feature on this planet?!

Anyways, this lipstick stays on for good 3-4 hours on me, can stay a little bit more on others. It transfers a little when touched. Doesn’t feather out or doesn’t leave any stain behind when wiped off.

Ups:

Stylish, sturdy, matte packaging.
Travel-friendly.
No need to sharpen.
A lovely shade that would suit any Indian skin tone.
Creamy yet matte finish, good for Indian summer and this horrid humidity.
Decent wear-time, almost 3-4 hours.
Nice coverage, eliminates dark patches and uneven tone decently.
Easily available on any Shoppers Stop outlet, can be found online at Shoppersstop.com.
Downs:

A little transferrable.
Will make a hole in your pocket.

All I have to say is: If you have loved Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains and if you love matte lip crayons, you must go for the Revlon Matte Balms. Those who love hint of pink on their lips without going crazy and aren’t actually very adventurous with lipsticks can definitely get a hold of this lipsticks. This range has 9 other lovely shades to choose from- Elusive, Unapologetic, Standout, Audacious, Striking, Shameless, and Mischievous.

My Rating: I will deduct 2 points for the excessively high price. Thus, it will get an 8/10 rating from me.

Will I buy it again?Though I love the shade and the formula very much but I don’t have any plan to buy it again. If I make my mind, I will mind any other shade from this range. I am waiting for a discount now.

Hello lovelies, hope you all had a great Christmas and you must be busy getting prepared for the New Year’s Eve! I can’t believe that New Year is around the corner. Feeling really excited! I have a hell lot of things listed for shopping and now wondering how would I manage to accomplish it. Anyways guys, I have just got my first ever Fab Bag in my hands today.

In case you are wondering, this is just the old wine in a new bottle. Vellvette Bag has now just changed their name to Fab Bag. But I personally liked their previous name. Anyways, let’s see how Fab is the bag-

The bag is just the typical black bag primped with some colourful stars on it which I found to be really gorgeous and very significant keeping the ongoing festivities in mind. They have done a good job on the bag, I must say. Here is a look of the bag-

This is the overview of what I got inside the bag-

Products that I got in this month’s Fab Bag-

1. MUA Out There Plumping Lip Gloss- Shocking Pink
2. Kama Ayurveda Lavender Patchouli Hair Conditioner
3. LA Splash Nail Splash- Blowfish Purple
4. Bonus: Anna Andre Nail Enamel Remover

What I love about this gloss is the shade. I was looking for a barbie pink lipstick for a few weeks and I got this in my December Fab Bag. Though MUA is nowhere a ‘deluxe’ brand but still I love it as I have never used any lip product from MUA. Also, it’s going to be my first pink lip-gloss. I have no idea why I didn’t got any description card with this product.

This will be my first product from this brand. I have seen some bloggers got this in their November Vellvette Bag. I loved the packaging and the product also seems to be good. I haven’t used it yet but I will in a few days.

This will be my third pink/fuchsia nail paint that I got this year. I liked the colour. The top part of it got some dents which I didn’t like at all. I am yet to use it.

I don’t get the point of sending a nail paint remover in a beauty subscription bag, that too from a brand like Anna Andre. It may have been Sally Hansen. Nevertheless, this remover says it’s Acetone free and enriched with Vitamin E. That sounds good. Let’s see how good does it work.

I have been lucky since I have subscribed for the Vellvette/Fab Bag this year. Where I heard a lot of bloggers sharing their disappointments, I found my bag full of pretty good products. Then comes the question how Anna Andre and MUA are ‘deluxe’ brands. But as the nail paint remover came as a bonus, I don’t mind either it is from a deluxe brand or else. Talking about organizing, I must consider it as a big mistake how the Team Fab Bag have forgotten to include a description card with the lip gloss they sent.

You can subscribe for your Fab Bag here.

Overall, I liked my this month’s Fab Bag and what came inside it. I am pretty much satisfied with what I got. The nail paint and the lip gloss appears to be very good. I haven’t used the conditioner and the nail paint remover yet but I hope they work good for me.

That was it guys. I will come up very soon with another new post. Till then, be safe, be happy. Good Night 😀

Hello girls, finally I am back in action (read blogging). If you’re in my Facbook friend list then you might know what I was going through these days. My dog was ill for two weeks and he left us last Saturday. I was very heart-broken. My dog was my only best friend for last 13 years and you can feel how lonely am I feeling now. Nevertheless, let’s jump into the post or else I’ll start crying again.
As you all know I am very new in this world of Beauty Blogging. I just have found my interest in makeup and beauty. I am following a lot of beauty bloggers across the country and have seen them talking about one monthly beauty subscription box and that is the very famous Vellvette Box (now a bag). I wanted to try it as soon as possible because I have seen numerous tempting products coming in this bag. I subscribed for the October’13 Vellvette Bag.  I was not able to share with you my first Vellvette but I will share a picture of what I got in my first Vellvette Bag at the end of the post.
For those who are wandering about what this Vellvette Bag is, it’s an Indian monthly beauty subscription box which claims to ship you luxury beauty, makeup, skincare, bath and body and perfume samples of recognized brands from all over the world. At the time of registration they ask you to fill in a questionnaire about your preferences. But sadly they forget it during shipping. The one month subscription is worth Rs 499. Visit www.vellvette.com to know more about them.

November Vellvette Bag
Let’s get into the post now. This is my second Bag from Vellvette and I am really impressed with the products I got in this bag. The pink bag looks super cute with the black polka dots all over it. I think I am going to use it as a makeup pouch while travelling. This bag contains all the essentials for the wedding season. I got an assortment of makeup, bath and skincare products and one bonus item too. Check out what I got-

List of the Products I Got in the Bag-
1. Flormar Deluxe Shine Gloss Lipstick D-35
2. Votre Pore Shrinking Toner
3. I Love… Coconut and Cream Bubble bath and Shower Gel
4. Mary Kay Extra Emollient Night Cream (Bonus Product)
November Vellvette Bag

The Lipstick I got in the box is quite impressive. It has a buttery texture to it and gives a sheer finish. I love the glossiness it gives to my lips. This is a little heavy on my lips, I feel like I’m wearing butter on my lips. It tends to melt a lot so I have to keep it in the fridge all the time. I don’t think I can carry it with me while travelling.
November Vellvette Bag
I gave this product to my mom and she is using it for 2 days. I think it’s a good product as she didn’t complain about it till now. The term ‘Pore Shrinking’ made me very interested in the results. I will be using it on my skin and write a review for you guys soon.
November Vellvette Bag
I am using this shower gel for 2 days and I like it so far. Sometimes I get very disturbed with the strong coconut-y fragrance. I hate, hate, hate the smell. But, unlike other shower gels that I have used earlier, this product doesn’t leave me with a weird soapy feeling even after washing myself.
November Vellvette Bag
I am yet to try this one. However, I don’t like the smell. It smells like the ayurvedic chapped lips and skin healers my grandma used to use. Also, the product is very thick in consistency.

This is a glimpse of what I got in my October Vellvette Bag-

My Note:

Being a new subscriber, honestly I didn’t know what to expect from them. But I was amazed to see the products came in my November Vellvette Bag. It’s pretty satisfactory. Also, they sent me a bonus product as a prize for the renewal of the subscription. So, I am quite happy with them till now. So, this was my experience with November Vellvette Bag. What is yours?

Thank you all for being with me, supporting me and liking my posts. After this long gap I promise to keep on writing. I have a lot of pending posts that will be published soon. Please keep up with me to read what I have to say. Thanks for being patient and not boycotting me 😛

This is not my first time to write a review about Jabong.com, in point of fact I’ve done it before and you guys might have read it then. But unlike the previous one this is going to be rather a review than a rambling.
Jabong.com is one of India’s leading online shopping portals. The varieties of products and huge listing of brands have made it one of the largest online shops in Indian online market. There are a few online stores that people relies on blindly. Jabong.com is one of them.
The Ups-
  • Up to 30,000+ products in one place.
  • Wide range of products, from clothes to home decor, from cosmetics to personal care, from jewelry to accessories.
  • Outstanding customer service.
  • Never-ending offers and enticing discounts.
  • Caters both economic and high-end brands.
  • Easy payments. Cash on delivery is available.
  • Delivers really fast.

The Downs-
So far I’ve found one bad thing about Jabong.com- it doesn’t deliver to my address! I have to order stuffs to my friend’s address and this is not at all convenient. I don’t know what reason is behind that. Seems that they only deliver to metros and big cities and don’t care about them who live in small towns. That is the only thing I didn’t like about Jabong and I hope they resolve the failing in near future.
The Packing- They wrap your products very carefully and sincerely. They provide good quality bubble wraps and also air bags if needed. Like, my box consisted of a nail-paint so they packed it with two extra air packets.

***
Now let’s move on to my shopping experience. This is not the first time when I shopped from Jabong. I have shopped once before. There has been a vast change in products and brands in the mean time. There are some new brands introduced now; they now have restocked some previously sold products. A multiplicity of new products has been added. I was baffled and couldn’t decide what to buy. Then I opted for the two things that my vanity was deprived of- The very hyped Maybelline Color Show Nail Paint (in Wine & Dine) as I thought that this shade will be perfect for winters and the second one was Maybelline Super Stay 14Hr Lipstick (in Eternal Rose) as I thought the same thing about it as well. I ordered from them on 1st November and they dispatched the order on the same day which is great. They informed me about the dispatch with email and SMS. The order was delivered to the allotted address on 5th November. That’s pretty fast!

Rating- I’ll give Jabong.com an 8/10. I’ll deduct 2 points for the delivery issue.
My Words- I love shopping Jabong.com. Only the delivery issue bothers me a lot. I am sure they will resolve the issue shortly.

The website had provided me with a voucher but my review is totally unbiased regardless of the fact.

Keep an eye on The Great Online Shopping Festival 2013 on Jabong.
Care for your Lips – all day

Ever wondered how Anushka Sharma manages to flash that beautiful, captivating smile every time she faces the camera?

If your eyes are magical, let your lips cast a spell too!Caring for lips is the most important beauty regime that every girl must follow throughout the day. Due to exposure to pollution, dust, stress and drying effects of the sun and other external extremities your lips can become chapped and dry.
Keep those pouty lips moisturized throughout the day, with a dash of colour by following these simple steps by Elle 18.

  • Step 1:  Start your day by drinking a glass of warm water with a pinch of lemon. Not just great for your lips but wonderful for your skin!

  • Step 2: Before you step out of the house for your busy day, apply a full layer of the Elle 18- Juicy Lip balm. Take your pick from any of the 6 yummy juicy gorgeous shades.. It is important to use a lip balm which has SPF as your lips get chapped due to the harmful rays of the sun

  • Step 3: Drink lots of water! No matter where you are carry a 500ml bottle of water to keep your lips hydrated

  • Step 4: Avoid licking your lips.  It’s a great feeling to do it but since lips do not have oil secreting glands, they dry up faster and make them harsher
