The 4 Steps to Fabulous Hair-

Oiling- This is the one thing I always skip. But, oils provide nourishment which we often tend to forget. Himalaya Anti-Hairfall Oil is specially formulated for treating hair fall issues. Part your hair and apply Himalaya’s Anti-Hairfall Hair Oil on the scalp. Massage the scalp gently in a circular motion using your fingertips so that the oil is absorbed into the scalp. Soak a towel in hot water and wrap your hair with it for 30 minutes before washing.
Shampoo- I can say that I got the best shampooing experience at the Himalaya #4FabulousHair event.
They took a plenty of time to gently massage my scalp with the shampoo. The shampooed twice to red rid of the previously applied oil.
Gently massage Himalaya’s Anti-Hairfall shampoo into wet hair and scalp. Leave for two to three minutes, and rinse thoroughly. Repeat if necessary. The product is effective for all hair types and is safe to use on artificially coloured or permed hair.
Condition- Conditioning is an unskippable step in your hair care regime. This acts as a nutrient for your hair. Make sure to apply your conditioner along the length of your hair and never on your scalp.

I am pretty impressed with this range. From the first wash, I have seen a huge difference. I get a lot of hair fall during hair wash but with this shampoo, the hair fall has reduced. The products have been helping me keep my hair strong and healthy. I never oil my hair because I have an oily scalp, but this Anti-Hairfall Oil is quite lightweight so it doesn’t harm. Since I used their black variant, I didn’t hesitate to try the two new variants which are 01 Green and 03 Blue.

REVIEW: Faces Ultime Pro Gel Kajal in Black

Sponge Tip for blending

Packaging- The packaging of these new variants are same as their black variant which I have already reviewed. You can tell the colour of the pencils from its packaging as the blue one comes with a blue packaging and green one with a green packaging. There are two tips of these pencils, one is the pencil tip and another is the sponge tip that is made to blend the shades.

Shades- 01 Green is a pretty deep green shade and 03 Blue is a navy blue shade. Both the colours would go well with Indian eye colours, especially with brown eyes. They are not over the top so anybody can rock them!

Pigmentation- I am super impressed with the pigmentation of these new gel kajals. Both of them provide an intense opaque finish in just a single stroke.

My Experience with Faces Ultime Pro Intense Gel Kajal- Green & Blue

As I said earlier, I am in love with these gel kajals. They are supremely pigmented, soft and smooth in texture and the formula is really creamy. The application is really smooth because of the creaminess. It glides easily on the lids, no tugging or pulling is required. The formula is totally blendable and blends into a completely matte formula. The sponge tip does a great job in blending the kajal evenly. These pencils are not totally waterproof but they easily come off with a makeup remover. The only thing to remember is that the tips of the pencils are breakable due to the softness. So, don’t put a lot of pressure while applying.

Overall, I have really enjoyed every time I used these pencils. I was already impressed with the formulation and again fell in love with the new shades.

My Views on Ashtapathy Herbals Bathing Bars

My first impression on these soaps is that they smell so good! They smell like raw natural/herbal product that they actually are. All the soaps are gentle on the skin and they do not dry out the skin. I would like to talk especially about the Olive Soap that was so smooth and it made my skin soft, supple and visibly healthy. I applied the Mud soap on the body as well as on my face and the result was amazing. The Multani mitti in the soap actually worked well on my oily t-zone and my face felt less oily for quite sometime after the wash. It did not strip off the skin making it dehydrated. The Deva Thali soap was an okayish soap, great for everyday essential use. It cleanses the skin very well giving it proper hydration. These soaps are not fast melting, they last for more than 15 days if properly used.

Ashtapathy Herbals Hair Cleansers

The hair cleanser range is a Sulphate and Paraben free range of products made from 100% natural herbs based on ancient Ayurveda scriptures. This range has to shampoos- Deva Thali Shampoo and Mud Shampoo.

Description- A gentle herbal Cleanser enriched with the natural goodness of Hibiscus, Shikakai and Henna. My Views on Ashtapathy Herbals Hair Cleansers-

To be honest, I enjoyed using the Deva Thali shampoo more than the Mud shampoo. Although I have very oily scalp and the Mud shampoo did work on that but it also did tend to dry out my already dry hair. I have a combination hair type- my scalp is oily and hair is dry. So, if you have my type of hair, I would suggest you go for the Deva Thali shampoo instead of the Mud shampoo. The Deva Thali shampoo worked quite well on my hair. It cleansed the scalp, made the hair soft and shiny. Both of the shampoos did not cause hair fall during the shower. It felt really great to use pure and natural products on my hair after continuously treating it with chemicals.

Formula- I am absolutely in love with the formula of this Faces Ultime Pro Matte Play Eyeliner. It is smooth, not too runny nor too thick, it is just the perfect formula. The application is pretty smooth, glides on easily on the lids and gives an opaque finish in one stroke.

My Experience with Faces Ultime Pro Matte Play Eyeliner

I am in love with this eye liner since I started using it. I am not very fond of coloured eyeliners but I can experiment with blue. What I love the most about this eyeliner is that it settles into a completely matte finish which is very rare to find in Indian market. Another thing I love about this eye liner is that it glides on smoothly and you don’t need to scribble across your lids to get an opaque application. Also, the long and pointy tip makes it easier to draw precise lines and wings. The staying power is pretty good. It stayed for 5-6 hours on me without budging or fading and I have oily eyelids. It takes a few seconds for the liner to dry to a completely matte finish. The only con is that the eye liner is not waterproof.

Overall, I really enjoy using this Faces Ultime Pro Matte Play Eyeliner in Blue. I would suggest you guys try it out. It is worth the money spent. I am sure you won’t be disappointed.

Packaging- The Oriflame Vinyl Gel liquid lipsticks come in a transparent plastic tube packaging with steel coloured twist up lid. They can very well stand on their own so, it’s easy for you to store them. The packaging quite reminds me of the Lancome Juicy Shaker lip oils.

Formula- The formulation of these Vinyl Gel liquid lipsticks are very unique in terms of texture and application. The texture is gel like which makes it look like a gloss although it’s not a gloss. It sticks on to the lips and doesn’t bleed at all.

Shades- Oriflame Vinyl Gel Liquid Lipsticks come in 7 different shades ranging from pinks to purples to reds and peaches. Here I have tried my best to decode the shades-

Tangerine Tango- This is a pastel peach shade with a hint of coral. This shade is a very bright one, not something I would like to wear. This shade washes me out a bit. It would suit someone with a fair complexion or someone who loves bright/neon-y lip colours.
Malibu Blush- This shade is a neon-y pink shade that would look good on fair to medium complexion.
Pink Mambo- It is a bright reddish pink. It would suit almost all skin tones.
Sunset Burst- Sunset Burst is, as the name suggests, a very bright reddish coral shade.
Magnetic Magenta- This is not at all a magenta. This is a bright pink shade with some hint of purple in it.
Hot Flamingo- This one is a bright pink and probably my favourite shade among all.
Purple Rumba- A deep purple shade that would suit almost all Indian skin tones.

My Thoughts on the Oriflame Vinyl Gel Liquid Lipsticks

I am not a glossy lipstick lover. I am more of a matte lipsticks person. These Oriflame Vinyl Gel Liquid Lipsticks are very moisturising on the lips and feel comfortable for a long time. The staying power is not more than 3-4 hours. They don’t bleed. The glossiness goes away (not completely) after a few hours. They are not smudge-proof or transfer-proof. But then, You cannot expect these qualities from a texture like theirs. The pigmentation of this lipsticks is decent, not exceptionally pigment nor very poorly pigmented. One single application is not enough if you have pigmented lips like I have. You’ll need to apply two coats to get an almost opaque coverage. The thing I don’t like about these lipsticks is they feel very sticky on the lips. Overall, I am quite happy with these lipsticks.

Now, if you know me you must know that anything that has natural ingredients in it turns me on. The same happened with this face wash. I love face washes that have neem in them. I have used tonnes of them. So, when I got to know about this face wash, I knew I had to get it. I have been using it for a couple of days now and I think I am ready to share my experience with you. You need to squeeze the tube in order to get the product out. One thing that I like is I could have a control on the dispense of the product. It only lets a small amount of product out at a time. That means, no wastage!

This product is green in colour with resembles it’s association with neem. My Experience with VLCC Neem Face Wash

As I mentioned earlier, I have been using it for the past couple of days twice a day and I have seen my skin improving after washing my face with it. I know it is too fast to review a product within two days of time but I could do it as I don’t have any acne on my skin right now. At the moment, my major concern is oiliness which VLCC Neem Face Wash has been handling quite effectively.

Talking about the benefit of this face wash, we need to know the benefits of its key ingredients that is Neem, Tea Tree and Chamomile-

Neem, the most effective, easily available ingredient that has been used by every woman in India since time immemorial. Neem has antibacterial properties which help cure acne, reduce acne spots and scars and prevent breakouts. Also, it works on skin rashes and blackheads. I remember my mum used to soak neem leafs in a bucket full of water during summers and we used to bath with that water. It helped in diminishing rashes and prickly heat.

Chamomile is known as an anti-ageing agent for your skin. It also works wonders on skin irritation.

Tea tree, another great ingredient for your skin. A correct amount of tea-tree helps you get rid of acne or lighten acne scars. Tea tree is an anti-fungal agent that works on any infection. Its anti-oxidant property leaves the skin look and feels fresh and rejuvenated.

With my first wash, I knew that this is a good cleanser for combination skin. This product lathers up so well despite being a soap-free face wash. It takes out all the dirt and grime and excess sebum from your skin leaving your pores to breathe. It keeps oiliness at bay for a long time, for about 4-5 hours which is a boon for ladies with oily skin. As I do not have much acne on my skin, I cannot comment on the pimple prevention point. But, after using it twice daily for two days, it has reduced that one pimple I have on my forehead which I am very happy for. It leaves my skin soft, supple and oil-free after every wash. Also, the skin feels fresh and looks glowy. Seeing that, it can be called the best face wash for women.

How to Get US Products Shipped to India | My Mall Box Review

I’ve been flooded with messages and queries regarding my recent ColourPop order when I shared a haul on my Instagram. Although I have replied to some of the comments about the customs, I had to explain more in one post. The service that helped me get my ColourPop order shipped to India is a website called My Mall Box. In this post, I will share my experience with My Mall Box.

What is My Mall Box?

My Mall Box is a package/parcel/mail forwarding service. They provide their customers with a US address (a suite in our warehouse), which allows them to shop at online retailers who require a United States shipping address.

How Does My Mall Box work?

Once you sign up with My Mall Box, they will give you your own Amercian address along with a unique suit number. There are two options to choose from. One that allows you to self-shop the products directly from the merchant website using your My Mall Box address. Another option is to go for ‘Buy for Me’ option. In this option, you fill in a form writing what you want to get, product name, category, URL of the product and My Mall Box buys it for you. It’s super easy to use My Mall Box as it’s absolutely hassle-free.

After your products are shipped and received at the warehouse you are notified at once. You can see your order waiting for you in the dashboard of your account. Now, you have to Consolidate or Repack your package depending on your order. The next point is about Consolidation.

What is Consolidation?

If you have bought several items from different websites, you will need to consolidate your packages in order to reduce shipping cost. Consolidating your packages means they will combine all the products into one package. The benefit of consolidation is there will be no risk of any of the packages getting lost in transit. Secondly, it will reduce shipping cost and lastly, it’s free!

Prohibited Items

If you are a regular online shopper then you must know some items are prohibited for shipping depending on a list of prohibited imported items of a particular country. You must know it before ordering anything.

Shipping Rate

My Mall Box determines shipping charges based on the package dimension and weight. They have an online calculator through which you can calculate how much you need to pay for a certain package. For my order, I paid $31.65 for shipping via DHL.

Other Charges

One thing I loved about My Mall Box is that they do not have any hidden charges.

The shipping charges are based on what and how many products you order.
You get a free storage for 90 days which is awesome and after the period of 90 days, you will be charged $1 per day. Speaking of the storage period, I would like to mention that after 120 days of your order reaching My Mall Box warehouse, the contents are liquidated. The storage limit applies to consolidated packages as well. The 90-day and 120-day cycles do not reset after repackaging your products.
For all return package, they charge $10.
$4.50 handling fee and a 3% transaction fee per Buy for Me order.
$2.00 per package for Splitting your packages.
$1.00 per photo for photo requests.

Things to Keep in Mind

In spite of everything, there are certain things that you need to keep in mind, like-

Some websites like Sephora do not ship to package forwarding companies. I don’t know if the ‘Buy for Me’ options works in this case. I had read many reviews and many people have mentioned about this issue with Sephora. I even know of an incident where someone’s order had been cancelled. So, keep it in mind.
Some websites like Amazon.com only accept US phone numbers. My Mall Box provides a US number in this case.
Consolidating your order means you will not get the original box the products came in. So, if you are wishing to possess the famous Kylie Cosmetics box or the Quirky Colourpop box, consolidation is not for you.

Did I Pay Customs?

Yes, I did. I had to pay Rs 805/- for an order value of $24.99. Total amount that for the entire order was-

ColourPop Order- $24.99- Rs 1616
My Mall Box Service- $31.65- Rs 2045
Customs Charges- Rs 805

Why My Mall Box?

My Mall Box generates addresses in Delaware which is a tax-free state. So, you have to pay 0% sales tax for your orders.
Their Concierge fee is $3 which is very nominal compared to other such websites.
My Mall Box has low shipping charges compared to other equivalent companies. I had to pay $31.65 for my order.
Their service is extremely swift and they notify you at every step.
I had consolidated my package and they repacked it very well that my highlighter came intact. I though it’ll be damaged in transit but luckily it didn’t.
DHL and USPS are their shipping partners. These companies are completely reliable.
They give you a $5 sign-up credit.

Overall, I am really satisfied with My Mall Box’s service. The entire staff including the customer care is very friendly and helpful.

O3+ Eye Circle Cream Review

Hello, everyone! Hope you are doing great. Today’s post will be about skincare and I will be reviewing a product that I have been loving lately. In this post, I will be discussing why I love it and want you to try yourselves. Today’s product in the spotlight is the O3+ Eye Circle Cream. Before I went to the VLCC event I saw a lot of you have queries regarding under eye darkness, dullness, bags and fine lines. Since my VLCC experience post contained only cosmetological treatments, I thought I should share something that is within budget and available everywhere.

Ingredients- Aqua, Glycerin, Hydrolyzed Rice Protein, Oxide Reductase, Hydrolyzed Glycine Soja (Soybean) Protein, Vitamin – C, Phenoxyethanol, Folic Acid, Ferment Extract & Sodium Hyaluronate, Perfume.

Description- “The O3+ Eye Circle Cream smooths the eye contour while lifting and firming the skin around the eyes. It deflates bags, reduces puffiness, smooths wrinkles, and fades dark circles leaving the eyes looking younger and more radiant.

Before proceeding with my review, you guys should know the reason behind dark circles. So, you will get to know whether this product will work for you or not.

Reasons for Under-eye Dark Circles

There are various factors that cause dark circles-

Dark circles can be genetic,
it can occur due to lack of sleep and
sometimes the unclear bowel leads to dark under-eyes.

There are some other factors as well that we should take into consideration. Those are-

thinning of the under-eye skin,
deep-set eye type.
sometimes, there are medical issues also that cause dark under-eye.

Now, that you know the reasons, you can definitely determine your reason. If it’s genetic then it’s almost non-curable. If it’s a medical issue then you need to see a dermatologist before buying any cosmetic product. If the problem is your deep-set eyes then again it cannot be cured. For other reasons, O3+ Eye Circle Cream can become your rescuer.

Packaging- O3+ Eye Circle Cream comes in a white plain carton and the product is housed in a plastic tube with a tapered nozzle-type mouth. All you need to do is to squeeze the tube to let out the amount to need. The narrow outlet makes sure you don’t squeeze out too much product. The packaging, in my opinion, is sturdy, easy to carry in your purse and travel-friendly. The sleek and slender white packaging is definitely very impressive.

Texture- The texture of the O3+ Eye Circle Cream is very light-weight gel-like texture. The consistency is perfect, neither too runny nor too thick. Post application, it gives a shiny look. This cream is not sticky, so it does not cling on to your skin or feel heavy. This cream gets absorbed into your skin very quickly.

My Experience with the O3+ Eye Circle Cream

I have been using the O3+ Eye Circle Cream for almost a month and I am ready to share my own experience with you all. But before proceeding, let me tell you that I don’t have heavy dark circles. The slight darkness that I have is mainly due to lack of sleep and strain on the eyes. I spend more than 12 hours a day on the computer and that has taken a toll on me even though I use AMC glasses to protect my eyes. So, if you want to diminish your dark circles then rest your body properly and sleep for at least 8 hours in a day. Otherwise, nothing is going to work on you. I am slowly working on improving my sleeping habit. But you know, a full-time blogger’s limitations!

Anyway, coming back to my experience, this cream is no miracle product. It does not diminish your dark circles like magic. I am using it, as I said earlier, for the past month and I can see a slight difference under my eyes. It definitely did not remove the dark circles but lessened the appearance of it. Although it hasn’t done anything special for the dark circles using it twice every day has definitely improved the texture of the skin under my eyes.

The best that O3+ Eye Circle Cream does is that it hydrates the under-eye area pretty well. It deeply nourishes the skin without making it look oily. The hydration is long-lasting, which is a great thing. It doesn’t brighten up the skin or diminish the fine lines but definitely smoothes out the skin surface. Taking that into consideration, O3+ Eye Circle Cream can be called the best drugstore eye cream for hydration or the best hydrating eye cream within budget.

Overall, I am quite enjoying using this eye cream these days. I would suggest you buy this if your major concern is hydration under the eyes.

Organic Harvest Activ Cleansing Milk for Normal Skin | Review & Price

Hi, guys! Hope you are doing well in hot and humid weather. Today, I’ll be reviewing another skincare product from Organic Harvest. You might have read my review on their Masseuscious Damage Control Face Wash. I have fallen in love with their products since then. So now, when they wanted me to try the new Organic Harvest Activ Cleansing Milk, I readily accepted! I have been using this product for a few weeks now and I am all set to share my review with you. Let’s start-

Price- Rs 1195/- for 100ml (Buy here)

Packaging- The product comes in a bottle form with a pump dispenser that has a transparent plastic cap. The packaging is sturdy but it isn’t as travel-friendly as I would like it to be. The bottle is quite heavy and I don’t think it’a convenient enough to carry a heavy bottle along.

Organic Harvest Activ Cleansing Milk for Normal Skin Review & Price | Cherry On Top

Key Ingredients- Aqua, Certified organic Decyl glycoside, Provitamin B5, Propylene glycol, Sodium benzoate, Potassium sorbate and Perfume. No Color Added.

How to Use- “Wet your face. Apply the product to your face in a circular motion, making sure each spot gets covered with cleanser. Keep massaging in a circular motion for thirty seconds to a minute. Rinse thoroughly.”

How It Works- The richness of natural minerals and Provitamin B5 in this fortifying cleanser soothes the skin by removing excess oil without tightening or over drying.

My Experience with Organic Harvest Activ Cleansing Milk for Normal Skin

As I told you earlier, I have been using the Organic Harvest Activ Cleansing Milk for the past few weeks and I can tell you that I am impressed with it. I am too picky and choosy when it comes to skincare products but this product has successfully made a place in my heart (read skincare stash). The product says that it is meant for normal skin types but it works equally great for those who have combination skin. I have combination skin, my t-zone is nothing less than an oil-field during summers. This product works wonders on me.

I had a feeling that cream/lotion based cleansers will make me more 0ily but that’s not the case for this product. It applies as a lotion but when I rinse it off my face, there’s no trace of oil left on my skin. Instead, it gives my skin the perfect amount of hydration and suppleness.

This product removes makeup quite effectively. For makeup removal, I apply it on my face in circular motions, giving it enough time to break down all the makeup and then wipe it off my face using a damp cotton round. Then, I wash my face thoroughly with cold water. One thing I must tell you guys, don’t use it around your eye area. Once I tried to remove my eye makeup with it and it burnt my eyes like hell. Never ever do that!

The Organic Harvest Activ Cleansing Milk is free from parabens, mineral oils, animal products and alcohol. This product is very gentle on the skin. I would recommend this product to you if you have normal to combination skin and you want a cleanser that would get rid of all the makeup and impurities without dehydrating your skin.
