Hello, everyone. Today’s review is all about a range of products that have worked wonders for many women out there. Bio-Oil is a cult-favourite of many women for several years and there is a solid reason behind it. Firstly, they do what they claim, they are not overly priced, the ingredients list is clean, and lastly, the result is satisfying.

I have been using Bio-oil religiously for the past few months. I have incorporated it into my no-fuss weekly pamper skincare routine. I first double cleanse my face using the Bio-oil Skincare oil and a mild foaming face wash, then apply some rose water as a toner and pat it onto my skin. I finish it off with the Bio-Oil Skincare Oil (Natural). You may go ahead and apply another layer of moisturizer but Bio-oil alone works very well as a moisturizer for my skin. You just need to take a very small amount, about a few drops. That will be enough to cover your entire face.

I also have light stretch marks on my hips and thighs which I have been taking care of by massaging bio-oil on the marks daily.

This scrub is loaded with finely ground exfoliating beads that are very mild on the skin. I dislike the scrubs that are too harsh on the skin rather I prefer those that are mild but gives me that powerful exfoliation experience. The Chocolite Scrub perfectly does that. Deyga Rose and Geranium Body Butter | Cherry On Top

Organic unrefined shea butter, Raw mango butter, Extra virgin coconut oil, Sweet almond oil, Rose essential oil, Geranium essential oil, Jojoba oil.

Packaging-

Deyga Rose and Geranium Body Butter comes in a simple plastic tub with a plastic screw-on lid. It also comes with a separator inside which ensures no leakage or spillage is there. The jar is very sleek which makes it easier to travel with.

Texture & Smell-

The product is a pale peachy pink coloured body butter that has a very thick consistency. In winters, it becomes a little more concentrated as it has natural butter in it but it easily melts down with a  quick rub between the fingers. Once applied, it spreads evenly on to the skin and gets absorbed quickly into the skin. The texture is just like that of any butter but non-sticky. It has a faint rose smell that lingers for 2-3 hours. The fragrance is very mild and doesn’t cause nausea or headache as some would do. I am very sensitive to smells but found this to be extremely subtle.

My Experience with Deyga Rose & Geranium Body Butter-

Although I easily gravitate towards body butters more than any other equivalents because of their thickness, my only concern with them is that they would make my skin greasy or feel heavy on the skin. To my surprise, the Rose and Geranium body butter by Deyga looked way thicker in the jar than it actually is. It feels like whipped butter when scooped out of the jar. Once you rub it between your fingers it becomes thinner and easy for application. It gets absorbed by the skin easily and quickly and leaves the skin hydrated for long. The rich texture makes the skin soft, supple and nourished. I am also very fond of the lingering scent of this body butter. After continuously using this product has left my skin softer than usual and it feels and looks nourished. Moreover, the natural ingredients ensure your skin gets enough nutrients without any harm.  I am so glad to find such a product for myself. This body butter is suitable for all skin types.

It is a gel formula but quite runny in consistency. It gets absorbed by the skin very quickly and gives a matte finish without leaving the skin dry. The feel of it is very close to that of a serum though very different in texture.

I love this product for its exceptional formulation. As I mentioned earlier, it is a runny gel-like texture that works perfectly for oily skin people. It is completely non-oily and non-sticky that makes it appropriate for your pre-makeup skincare. It could very well act as a primer as it somewhat smoothes the skin out. HyaluGel gets absorbed by the skin quite fast and it leaves your skin matte yet hydrated for a long time. I haven’t experienced any breakouts or rashes after using this but it is hard to tell if it prevents acne.

From the price point, it may look a little expensive but 30g of this product lasts really long as a little goes a long way. A pea-size amount will be sufficient for the entire face. I have oily to combination skin and it worked like magic. My skin felt hydrated from inside and it kept the oiliness at bay for a decent amount of time. I’d highly recommend this moisturizer for summers.

It’s been more than a month since I have been using this product and I have been enjoying using it, to be honest. The extremely lightweight formula and silky texture have won my heart. As I mentioned my struggle with sunscreens earlier in this post, this product came as a blessing and it completely changed my skincare routine. Now, I never skip my sunscreen. It feels you have nothing on your face. It doesn’t make your face sweaty, unlike many sunscreens which makes it a great option for summers as well. If you have oily to combination skin like me then this is going to be your HG product.

This product gives you all-round protection from UVA, UVB, Infrared, Blue light and pollution which is great to have in a single product. I haven’t seen any significant changes in my fine lines or dark spots.

I absolutely love rose as an ingredient in my skincare products. It took me a really long time to actually notice the benefits of rose on my skin. I would say it was somewhat an acquired liking but I am glad I fell in love with this powerful ingredient.

The first thing that attracted me towards the Deyga Rose and Mulethi face pack is its impressive ingredients list. This brand never fails to excite me. It’s been a month since I have been using it and it did not cause any breakout or skin irritation on me. I like to use this on days my skin needs some extra TLC and it beautifully does that. It provides me with a healthy glow, clears the skin and evens out the skin tone with regular use. It also makes your skin look youthful and the best thing is that it provides the skin with the perfect amount of moisture. This mask makes my skin baby soft which I absolutely love. You have to use it for at least two weeks to see the effectiveness. This is very normal with any natural skin care product. You can use it up to twice a week as it is completely natural and organic.
