| The Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Shampoo & Conditioner Duo and My Current Hair Story |
Anyways, let’s start the post. We all know that Korean skincare is one of the best ranges of skincare in this world. Many of us might not be aware of this but, Korea contributes a huge number of skincare products to the world. The ingredients and technologies they use are totally inspired by the usual norms of nature. A lot of people are addicted to Korean cosmetics and so am I. I won’t use the word ‘addiction’ but I am surely fascinated by Korean skincare.
If you are following my blog for a long time, then you would know that I once got lucky enough to win a giveaway by Donah (sweetjellybean.com) where I won a beauty box by Wishtrend called the Wishbox- Cosmic Bloom. I must admit that before that particular event, I was not enlightened about Korean cosmetics and their efficacy. Firstly, because I was literally an amateur in the field of cosmetics and lastly because we don’t have much access to Korean cosmetics in India. It was then when I realized that skincare plays a huge role. I was totally unaware and ignorant of skincare rituals. When I received that Wishbox, I got to try my hands on some excellent Korean skincare products. I would like to introduce two of my favourites with you-
Though I loved the whole box and everything inside it, these two have left a great impact in my heart. I wish to buy the full size of them someday. Now, let’s see my favourites-

1. Elisha Coy Always Nuddy CC Cream: This one has become my favourite ever since I started using it. Elisha Coy is a leading Korean Cosmetics brand that has won millions of hearts all over the world. This one is a supremely efficient CC cream which works on to correct your skin and even it out for a clearer skin. I basically use it to correct any blemishes on my skin before applying any sort of foundation or BB cream. I use it after my basic skincare rituals. It does its job as it claims. Clears out any imperfection or discolouration, adds no colour and perfectly blends into the skin leaving it flawless.

2. MAX Clinic Night Flash Massage Oil Foam: I don’t know if I have talked about this earlier, but if not then let me do it now. Before using this product, I had no idea what a oil foam is. If you haven’t used a oil foam before, it’s basically a foaming cleanser with oil. Rich and creamy in texture, this mild cleanser leaves your skin smooth and supple after a wash. It doesn’t only clears the impurities but also works great as a makeup remover. Just one wash and it cleans your makeup like a miracle. It’s great to remove eye makeup as it’s very mild and gentle and one wash it enough to clear off your mascara, eyeliner or even kajal. I have not tried it on water-proof mascara but I hope it’ll work efficiently even on that. Sadly, I failed to find the full size of this product on their website later.
Those who are interested, Wishtrend has a Free Shipping Zone with a bunch of products. I would recommend some Korean brands for you such as Elisha Coy, Skin & Lab, C 20, Klairs etc.
I hope you enjoyed the post. Leave your opinions and queries in the comments and I promise I would try my best to answer them. Till then stay safe and keep smiling!

Today, in this OOTD, I have used two things from that lot- a golden metal choker necklace and a metal headband. I really love them a lot for they are golden and they can jazz up an outfit, especially a monochrome one immediately.
Black and Gold is the match made in heaven. They complement each other like no other duos do. The combination of black and gold is timeless, eternal. Black is one of my favourite colours and gold (read golden metal) is my current obsession. This post is the upshot of that.
I went for a very minimal makeup- just the Lakme CC Cream, a touch of compact and a hint of red lipstick (Maybelline Bold Matte MAT5) just to focus on the stunning necklace. Yes, now that the post is up, I realize I could have smiled more 😛

Hey all, hope you’re doing good. I am slowly recovering from my winter-laziness as spring is round the corner. You must know how much I love spring! Today I am going to be sharing a haul post with you all. Before you get shocked by the expenditure, let me tell you that these aren’t bought at the same time. These are the products I have been accumulating from last November. I was waiting for my U.S. order to reach me, hence the delay. Now, let’s see what I actually have to show you-
4. The Body Shop Moringa Body Butter: Recently The Body Shop was offering 50% discount on the body butters. No one could have ignored the offer! Shayoni (Sweet And Bitter Blog) helped me choosing a body butter and I am happy to purchase it as it’s not so thick for my normal skin (I have an oily/combination facial skin and a normal body skin, if you know what I mean!). I am loving this since I started using it. A review will be up very soon.
1. BH Day & Night Palette: I wanted to buy either the BH Cosmetics Party Girl After Hours palette or this one but decided to get this finally. It has 60 shades appropriate for both day and night time. It includes both mattes and shimmery shades. I will review and swatch them for you soon.
4. NYX Butter Lipstick in Razzle: This is a gorgeous fuchsia shade and you guys should know how much I love fuchsia! These lipsticks are super affordable and superbly pigmented.

- Packaging: The skin serum comes in a glass bottle packaging with a screw lid that actually is a dropper. When you push the top of the lid the fluid gets collected into the dropper and then when you push again it gets dispensed. The dropper is also made of glass which makes the whole thing inappropriate for travelling.
- How to use: I use it twice a day after cleaning up my face and neck. I take about 2 drops of it (a little goes a long way) and gently apply it on all over the face. Then I follow it by applying my moisturizer. This product is supposed to be applyed on bare-face after cleansing and toning and before moisturizing.
- Consistency: The product is quite dense in consistency but then it is not sticky too. It spreads easily and uniformly on the skin without giving that sticky feeling. It blends effortlessly and sinks into the skin within no time. As it isn’t very thick and viscid it could be used throughout the year without any hassle.
- My Experience & Review: I think this is the first time I have been so impressed with a skincare product. When I started using, it seemed to be an average product to me- a serum that works as an anti-ageing agent, but soon I was proved wrong. I have been using it for almost two months (or more) and over the time I have found out that my skin has improved magically. I am blessed with a good skin, I don’t have acne and blemishes but I do have some other minor problems like uneven skin and occasional breakouts. This serum has worked as a magic potion for me as it has eliminated the unevenness making it visibly smooth and soft. The occasional breakouts I used to get during ‘that time of the month’ or after threading my eyebrows no longer appear. I have not brought any changes to my lifestyle or diet so I believe it’s the serum that has prohibited the furtive breakouts from appearing.
The price is slightly on the higher side but believe you me people, it’s worth every penny!
- Price: Rs 2895/- for 30ml

- Packaging: This product comes in a plastic bottle-type packaging with a pump which has a metallic roller-ball end. It also comes with a semi-transparent plastic cap. The packaging is very sleek and travel-friendly. It can easily fit into a purse or wallet while travelling.
- How to use: I use this concentrate only at the night because I have found that it works best when you rest your eyes after the application. In this way, you give some time to the serum to sink into the eye area which results in fresh and awakened eyes the next morning. You have to pump a small amount of product (that you can see dispensing from the roller-ball area) and apply directly underneath he eyes with the help of the roller ball. Don’t tug and pull as you might reverse the operation that the product is supposed to do. After you spread the serum evenly, now you have to use your ring finger and gently pat it until it sinks in entirely.
- Consistency: It’s a concentrate so it has to be a little denser in consistency. Again, this product is not sticky and spreads effortlessly. It doesn’t leave the eye area dehydrated post application.
- My Experience & Review: I have been noticing some fine lines under my eyes and you know that it is not a delightful sight for a woman. I started using this hoping that it’d fade away the nefarious lines beneath my eyes, but it did nothing like that. The fluid is very cooling and it instantly removes any sort of tiredness from the eyes making them fresh and awakened. The metallic roller-ball applicator works best as the metal soothes the eye area and provides the cooling sensation that is most required after a hectic day. For me, it works as a potion that soothes my eyes, makes them look awakened, eliminates the puffiness and takes the fatigue away. It doesn’t fade dark circles, doesn’t work on fine lines and unlike the company claims it doesn’t make the eye area look firm instantly but with continue use, it makes the eye-area look firmer over some time. The key ingredient is the stem cells of the Edelweiss flower that grows in the Alpine region in the adverse conditions and considered as natural anti-ageing agent.
- Price: Rs. 1995/- for 10ml
