Hi, guys! Hope you’re doing well. Today, I am going to review an all-natural and organic scrub that I’ve been enjoying using during my self-care/ weekly pamper routine for the past couple of weeks. If you know me well, you’d know that I am a sucker for natural skincare and bath and body products. So, when I got to try a few products from Deyga I was very excited. Today’s product in focus is Deyga Rose Scrub that is completely natural and chemical-free.
The importance of exfoliation is no secret. Scrubbing your skin on a regular basis to get rid of dead cells, blackheads and other impurities is like regeneration of the skin. I make sure to exfoliate my skin thrice a week. I try to keep aside a day, mostly Saturdays or Sundays for pampering my skin with exquisite skincare products. For my weekly pamper routines, I like to use products that are rich in organic ingredients, safe on the skin, and most importantly have an exotic feel in them. Deyga Rose Scrub has all of that and more. Made with 100% pure, organic, real rose petals, this scrub works wonders without harming your skin.
About Deyga Rose Scrub
Exfoliating feels exquisite with this beautiful rose scrub made with real rose petals. It melts quickly on the skin and gently refines the pores while removing the dead cells to expose cleaner, fresher skin.

Cleanses the skin
Exfoliates it
Softens the skin
Provides a healthy glow

Wet your skin
Scrub over face/hands/legs/underarm or elsewhere
Leave it on the skin for 60 seconds to absorb

Ingredients-
Deya Rose Scrub is made up of all-natural ingredients like native rose, lotus petals, beetroot extract, semolina, aloe vera powder, and rice flour. While semolina and rice flour give the scrub a base and work as active physical exfoliants, beetroot happens to stop premature aging and reduces age spots and blemishes as it is rich in Vitamin C. Lotus petals and rose petals have skin-balancing properties which work best for controlling the sebum production of the skin. The fatty acids and proteins present in the lotus flower help keep the skin nourished. The anti-inflammatory properties of rose petals help fight the adverse effects of UV rays and it reduces the signs of aging.
This scrub comes in a transparent plastic tub with a black screw lid that closes tightly so there is no spillage. The packaging is travel-friendly because of its sturdiness. The minimalistic packaging has my heart.
Texture & Smell-
This is a DIY scrub. That means it comes in a powder form to which you have to add water, curd, or rose water according to your wish and need and make an even paste out of it. The powder is a little gritty to touch but is not abrasive on the skin. It has some woody rose notes to it which is very mild and lingers for a bit. For those who are allergic to strong smells, this would be a great fit for you as the fragrance is 100% natural.
My Experience with Deyga Rose Scrub-
As I mentioned earlier, I have used this scrub for more than 3 months for my weekend pamper routines and I have to say it is one of my most favourite skincare products ever that too in a budget. Its au naturel ingredients, unique formulation, and minimalistic approach instantly made me fall for it. I am always up for skincare products that are rich in natural and non-toxic ingredients and are sustainable. Each and every product from Deyga’s wide range of skin and hair care products falls under the aforementioned criteria.
Coming back to Deyga Rose Scrub, I thoroughly enjoyed using this in my everyday skincare routine. The texture of the scrub is effective to scour away any impurities, blackheads, whiteheads, and dead cells from your skin without damaging or irritating the skin layer. It also effectively enhances the skin texture. I loved the fact that it did not feel harsh on the skin. It surely is a little time-consuming and creates a mess in your bathroom but it is definitely worth it. If you are also into natural and sustainable skincare products, you should definitely give this scrub a go.

The natural oil production underneath our skin is meant to make a protective layer on the skin surface. But when the production is excessive, you need to take care of that. This post could be a game-changer for you if your skincare routine has become a bit overwhelming lately. With a new product launch every week and reading about different active ingredients every alternate day, you might have already made your skincare routine complex. Trust me, you don’t need thousands of layers of skincare products every day. Using too many skincare products may do more harm than good and it could make it even worse for you if you are using products that you have no idea about. Here comes the serious need to have a minimalist skincare routine for oily skin.
People with oily skin know how irritating it is to wake up in the morning with oil on your t-zone or slipping and sliding of your makeup during an important event or party due to the stubborn oil glands. Things get worse when it paves the way for breakouts or blackheads. Before starting with this post, let us inspect the root cause of the skin concern i.e. oiliness.
What causes Oily skin?
Many of us have not transparent idea about the reasons behind oily skin. Without knowing the reasons we cannot combat it. We must learn the very root of the problem to get a targeted skincare routine for this specific skin condition.
There could be so many factors that cause that extra sebum on your skin. From genetics to hormonal imbalance, the reasons are quite surprising. Here are a handful of the reasons that cause oily skin.
reason #1 Hormonal Imbalance
Hormonal imbalance plays a major role in creating extra sebum. If you are a woman you know your hormones go haywires around your periods which leads to your sebaceous glands producing more oil than usual. It is known that testosterone causes overactive sebaceous glands. A higher level of testosterone can cause the overproduction of sebum. If you get occasional oiliness, there is a chance the reason is hormonal.
REASON #2 GENETICS
There is a high chance of you having oily skin if you have it in your genes. It mostly happens if one of your parents or both of them have oily skin.
Reason #3 Stress
This is as real as it is. Stress, with many other physical and mental hassles, also could be a possible reason that your skin is producing more sebum than required. Studies show that stress makes our body produce excess Cortisol, a stress hormone. A rise in the secretion of Cortisol results in breakouts and an oilier skin surface.
The problem with stress is that it becomes unmanageable even before we realize it. So, taking some time out for yourself to relax and unwind is necessary not only for our minds but also for our physical well-being. We must make it a ritual to de-stress once in a while. Here is how you can create a DIY at-home spa day for yourself.
REASON #4 Humidity
The weather plays an important role in making your skin more or less oily. Living in a humid and tropical climate can result in oily skin.
Apart from the internal reasons, there are also some external reasons for your skin to be oily or oilier. For instance-
REASON #5 Flawed Skincare Routine
Oily skin can happen if you are following one or more wrong skincare habits. The most common habits that cause overproduction of sebum are over-cleansing, under-cleansing, using alcohol-based toners, skipping moisturizers, and using wrong skincare products.
It is advised that you wash your face twice a day- in the morning and in the evening. You are also allowed to cleanse your skin after exercising to avoid extra oil build-up in the pores. Your skin naturally produces oil that is necessary to keep the skin hydrated and protected from environmental damage. If you wash or scrub your face too harshly, you might overstimulate your oil glands or irritate them which results in excessive oil production. You must use a gentle face wash, preferably soap-free, and a mild scrub to cleanse your skin. Over-cleansing or under-cleansing must lead to over-production of sebum.
Another mistake that causes oily skin is the lack of moisture in our skin. Most people with oily skin tend to skip on their moisturizer after washing their face. They believe it would make their skin oilier. But, this is far from reality. Products that are designed for oily skin strips away the natural oils from our skin. If we skip hydrating our skin, our skin actually sends signals to the sebaceous glands to produce more sebum. We must moisturize our face regardless of the type of skin. One could use oil-free, water-based, and non-comedogenic moisturizers if they feel their skin is oily.
Your oily skin can also be a result of using the wrong skincare products. Sometimes we are too busy to read through the ingredients lists while buying skincare or makeup products and end up picking products that are absolutely wrong for our skin type. An example would be products that are non-comedogenic, which means they are going to clog your pores. Clogged pores cause pimples or severe breakout which leads to heavier sebum production. So, every time you are purchasing skincare or makeup, make sure they are non-comedogenic.
We will discuss an effective yet minimalist skincare routine for oily skin towards the end of this post.
Reason #6 Imbalanced Diet
It is proven that intake of oily, fried food, or junk food makes the skin oilier. Intaking carbohydrates like white bread, sugar, and white rice in higher quantities may lead to high serum glucose levels and increased insulin levels. As a consequence, higher insulin levels elevate sebum production.
How to know you have oily skin?
The problem with many people is that they don’t understand which skin type they have. If one knows their skin type it is easier to build a skincare routine. The idea is to detect the problem first and then work on the solution. Here are a few signs that indicate you have oily skin.
Your facial skin will appear to be shiny.
You’ll experience greasy skin when you wake up in the morning and towards the end of the day.
No matter how much setting powder you apply, your foundation will not stick in place, especially on the t-zone.
You may have large pores on your chin, nose, and anywhere around your t-zone.
You might get occasional pimples or acne.
What does oily skin require to stay healthy?
Like any other skin type, oily skin also needs a regular CTM routine to be followed every day, am and pm. While it is essential to maintain a daily skincare routine, it is absolutely unnecessary to layer your skin up with everything available in the market. Any skin type requires basic care that is indispensable. Here is a simple yet effective minimalist skincare routine for oily skin that I have created with my own experience.
Minimalist Skincare Routine for Oily Skin You Need to Follow Right Now + Affordable product guide

In order to remove the extra sebum and grime accumulated on the surface of the skin and in the large pores, we must use an oil-free face wash that doesn’t clog the pores. As oily skin is often prone to acne, you must use a mild face wash (preferably, soap-free so it won’t strip off the natural oils). You can also consider using a product that has tea-tree oil as it works best for acne-prone skin.
A toner is used right after the cleanser. Sometimes, a cleanser alone is not enough to remove all the gunk from your skin. A toner helps pull the remainders out. It also takes care of your skin’s pH balance. When you use a cleanser, it unclogs your pores i.e. it opens the pores, a toner helps them close so that the oil production is controlled. A toner also helps hydrate the skin to some extent and it kind of prepares the skin for the next steps like the serum, acids or treatments, and moisturizer.
You must always remember that alcohol-based toners are a complete no-no! Alcohol, in the longer run, will dry out your skin and make it sensitive. We will be discussing toners and active ingredients more elaborately in another post.
If you have oily skin, you must consider using a toner that has any of the following ingredients present in them-
S T E P # 3 S E R U M S / A C I D S / a c t i v e s
This step is completely optional but will work great for oily, acne-prone skin if used on a regular basis. Serums are basically formulated to get absorbed into the skin more quickly and efficiently than moisturizers. People have a misconception about using serums on oily skin. Serums could be hydrating but not greasy if you pick up the right one. Being a lightweight formula, it doesn’t sit on top of your skin or clog your pores. There are different types of serum that are meant for different skin conditions like add hydration, glow, fight the signs of aging, etc. You just have to choose one that solves your skin issues.
For people with oily/acne-prone skin, serums with hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, and salicylic acids are best. You can consider using apple cider vinegar too as they control sebum production and mildly exfoliates the skin.
It is best to use a serum/acid at night as it will be allowed to absorb deep into the skin well.
Hyaluronic Acid-
It is a great ingredient to include in a skincare routine for oily skin. Hyaluronic acid is a non-comedogenic substance that penetrates into the skin, without clogging the pores and hydrates the skin from within. Hyaluronic acid has the ability to retain moisture without leaving an oily residue on the surface of the skin making it a great choice for oily skin people.
Salicylic Acid-
Yet another great active ingredient for oily skin. This BHA helps remove any dark spot or pigmentation you have, be it blemishes or acne marks, and also prevents new acne and blackheads from appearing. If you are a beginner and want to start including acids into your skincare regime, you must give salicylic acid a shot as it is totally safe to use.
Niacinamide-
Another magic ingredient for oily skin is Niacinamide. It is a form of Vitamin B3 that helps regulate oil production, making it a great skincare choice for oily and combination skin types. Niacinamide also brightens up the complexion and improves the texture of the skin by minimizing your pores.
People often make the mistake of believing that oily skin doesn’t require moisturizer. This is a popular myth that I want to bust today. Every skin type needs to moisturize their skin. Oily skin people just need to make a wiser choice while picking up a moisturizer. The best types of moisturizers for oily skin are the ones that are water-based, free from any oil, and lightweight in texture. Water and gel-based moisturizers could be a great option to go with.
Moisturizers are made to replenish and nourish your skin. Oily skin needs that treatment too. Skipping on the moisturizer can result in irritation, clogged pores, breakouts, and even an over-production of sebum. Ingredients like green tea, Vitamin E, C, and B5, Hyaluronic acid are great for oily skin, and products with petroleum jelly, mineral oil, and paraffin are to be avoided.
No daytime skincare is complete without a good sunscreen. You stepping out in the sun without sunscreen is like you jumping into the ocean without a life jacket. Not only it will make your skin tanned but the sun and the UV rays can cause potential damage to your skin without warning. A skin without sunscreens can cause blemishes, sunspots, and/or dark spots. You must put on a good sunscreen whenever your step out of your house during the daytime no matter if the day is runny or gloomy.
Choosing the right sunscreen
When it comes to sunscreens, we all have that bitter experience where the sunscreen was either too oily for the skin, or it was so heavy that it sat on top of the skin for hours, or it made the skin dull and dark after a few hours. So, here is my guide to choosing the perfect sunscreen for oily skin-
1. Choose a sunscreen that is oil-free, water-based, and lightweight.
2. Your sunscreen must be non-comedogenic.
3. A sunscreen with an SPF of at least 35, UVA & UVB protection, and PA+++ should be your choice to avoid damaging your skin

Apart from the daily skincare routine, every skin type needs a weekend pamper routine. A weekly detox, nurture for the skin results in a long-term benefit. You can treat your skin every weekend without going too crazy with the products. I would suggest using a mask and facial oils for that extra TLC for your oily skin. Here’s a guide-
Face Mask for oily skin- Finding a perfect face mask for oily skin could be a hassle. Mud masks/clay masks are perfect for oily skin because they help balance the oil production and keep the skin matte while hydrating it. I would suggest you go for homemade masks rather than splurging on the trending chemical masks. You can use either Multani mitti, lemon, or yogurt in your masks.
Facial Oils- We have a general notion that facial oils are for dry skin and they make the skin appear oilier. That is so untrue. I have a personal experience of using facial oils on my face during summer and it was absolutely suitable for my combination of oily skin. Facial oils are great for oily skin too if you choose the right oils. Oils like Jojoba, Squalane, Marula, Argan, Rosehip are great for your skin. They have smaller molecular sizes so they are light in texture and absorbs quickly into the skin without making it greasy. These oils are also non-comedogenic so that adds up to the benefits.
So, that was it for this post. I hope this helps you create your perfect minimalist skincare routine that is easy to follow on a daily basis. Let me know what is your daily skincare routine. If you have any queries, leave them in the comments. Will see you with a new post. Until then, take care and be safe!

Time and again, I have shared in my blog that skincare is not just a routine for me, it is a therapy. When it comes to choosing the right product with the right ingredients, I never forget to research what I am using on my skin, and I believe it is very important we all do so. Recently, the ingredients my skin has been loving are Vitamin C and Hyaluronic acid and I made sure I use the best. ITC Charmis Deep Radiance Vitamin C range is what I have opted for recently and I am going to share my personal experience with the Vitamin C face wash, hand cream, and face serum.
Before starting off with the review, I wanted to let you all know that I have been using these products for a couple of weeks and only then I am able to tell you if these products have worked for me or not. It is completely up to you if you want to spend your money reading this review or you want to do more research before that. I always recommend you guys to do your research well before you invest in any product.
Coming back to the review, Charmis Deep Radiance Vitamin C Range has been launched recently by the brand and it consists of three products- Deep Radiance Face Wash, Deep Radiance Hand Cream & Deep Radiance Face Serum. This range is packed with three extremely potent ingredients like Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid, and Salicylic Acid. Together these products will make your skin radiant and youthful, hydrated, soft and supple to touch, and will revitalize the skin by removing signs of fatigue and dullness.
Now, let’s get into individual product reviews-
Charmis Deep Radiance Face Wash
Price- Rs 180 for 150ml
Formula & Efficacy- Formulated with Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid & Salicylic Acid, this face washes deeply cleanses the skin and removes extra oil and dirt from the skin. Vitamin C, an extremely potent antioxidant provides radiance to the skin making it look youthful & nourished. Hyaluronic acid provides great hydration to the skin and retains that moisture for a long period of time. Salicylic acid does a great job of gently exfoliating your skin and at the same time keeps acne at bay. This facewash washes away 99.9% acne-causing bacteria. Despite the deep cleansing and high foaming, this does not strip away the natural oils from your skin. Rather, it keeps the skin hydrated even after the wash.
Texture, Colour & Smell- The texture of the deep radiance face wash is like a pinkish gel that foams up so much once you work it on to your face. One thing I like so much about this product is that a little of it goes a long way. Even the tiniest amount lathers well to cover your entire face and neck. The fragrance of this is quite mild and refreshing and not at all overpowering.
Charmis Deep Radiance Face Serum
Price- Rs 210 for 30ml
Formula & Efficacy- Applying a facial serum is a step that I have started loving recently. The deep radiance face serum is claimed to penetrate 15 layers deep into the skin and delivers the active ingredients directly into the skin. Regular use of this product helps remove dullness from the face, add a brightening effect, and hydrates the skin. The non-sticky formula helps it get absorbed into the skin quickly and completely without making the skin greasy at all. Although it is suitable for all skin tones, I recommend dry skin people apply a moisturizer afterward and oily skin people leave it as it is.
Texture & Smell- The texture of this serum is quite runny, but it gets absorbed by the skin in no time. It is extremely lightweight so even if you use this in the morning, you don’t feel heaviness on the skin. This has a soothing aroma that lingers for quite some time post-application. The fragrance, like the others in this range, is not overpowering at all.
Charmis Deep Radiance Hand Cream
Price- Rs 180 for 150ml
Taking care of our hands has been a matter of great importance after the Covid-19 broke out. The use of hand sanitizers and hand washes have increased substantially which caused the occurrence of dehydration and roughness in the hands. This issue has also increased the sales of hand creams in the market. People are now aware of taking care of their hands also.
Packaging, Formula & Efficacy- Charmis Deep Radiance Vitamin C hand cream comes in a compact packaging that is easy to travel with and is completely spill-proof. This product does not only deeply nourish your hands but also protects them from 99.9% of bacteria that come in contact. This again is packed with the goodness of Vitamin C that fights the signs of aging, because as interesting as it might sound, our hands are one of the first body parts that show signs of aging. Hyaluronic acid holds in the hydration which is really important because our hands endure a lot during the day.
The formula is very lightweight and non-greasy without compromising on hydrating power. I really like this fact about this hand cream because I do not like the idea of moisturized hands that cannot hold a pen.
Texture & Smell- The texture of this deep radiance hand cream is soft and lightweight like how a hand cream should be. It is soft and easy to blend into the skin. It also gets absorbed well leaving no stickiness behind. The smell is a refreshing floral fragrance that is quite similar to that of the entire range.
Here are a few pointers that make the Charmis Deep Radiance range worth a try-
Chic pink and white packaging
Sturdy and safe to travel with
Easy availability
Reasonably priced
Loaded with the benefits of Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid and Salicylic Acid
Shows effects after a couple of weeks of religious use.
A little goes a long way.
Mild, refreshing fragrance that lingers for a decent amount of time without giving you headaches.
A trusted brand that is known for its quality and budget-friendliness
Suitable for all skin types
I would highly recommend the Charmis Deep Radiance Vitamin C Skincare range if you are looking for an affordable yet effective range of skincare products that will remove any dullness from your skin.
Winter is now gone and summer has already in its full glory. It is the time when you should take extra care of your skin and body. You all know how particular I am with my skincare routine. It has grown for the best with each passing day. From carefully choosing the right product and researching every ingredient that goes into the skin, I am extremely serious about it. The problem I face the most in this transitional time is dry and lifeless along with some tanning on my forehead. Coffee is one of my favourite ingredients that work wonders for these problems. It might not be the greatest of beverages but it certainly does take care of many of the skin concerns that we usually have like tanning, dryness, and skin-ageing. Recently, I have included VLCC Coffee Sugar De-tan Exfoliating Scrub & Rejuvenating Arabica Coffee Peel-off Mask to my pamper skincare routine and they have so far been great for me.
I have been a fan of VLCC since I started using them when I was a teenager. I love how they choose their ingredients responsibly and delivers only natural, paraben-free products that are effective too. The two products mentioned earlier have already become my favourites because of their efficacy and the ingredients that are natural and formulated for all skin types. Here is my detailed review of both.
Coffee and sugar are two of my favourite ingredients for my scrubs. They are natural, effective and surprisingly gentle on the skin. Apart from being a great beverage, coffee is also known for its beauty benefits. The caffeine in coffee helps stimulate blood circulation which reduces puffiness or inflammation. It also works great to remove tanning, tighten and brighten the skin, improve skin texture, reducing wrinkles and signs of ageing.
Formulated with Arabica Coffee, Sugar Crystals & Himalayan Pink Salt, this product starts showing the results from its first use. It gently removes the dead cells from the surface and reveals the brighter looking skin lying underneath it instantly. It makes the skin smoother, brighter and softer. I easily get tanned on my forehead and my nose and the tan is the kind of patchy tan that we all hate. This scrub helps clear that out and evens out the complexion. If I have to rate it, I will give is a 9/10.
Price- ₹399 for 90g
Packaging- VLCC Coffee Sugar De-tan Exfoliating Scrub comes in a white plastic tube with a flip open cap. The packaging is extremely sturdy and convenient to travel with.
Texture, consistency & Smell- This scrub has a dark brown gel-like texture that is quite runny. It feels a little sticky but is not at all difficult to work on to the skin. The product contains fine sugar crystals and coffee particles. It has got a mood-lifting aroma of freshly ground premium coffee.
How to Use- Take a sufficient quantity of scrub and apply on cleansed face. Scrub gently in a circular motion. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry.
I don’t know how many of you would agree with me that peel-off masks are so damn satisfying. Imagine you have an event planned after the office or after a busy day in the kitchen. What would you need to glam yourself up in the shortest period of time? Of course, a peel-off mask! They are quick, they are efficient and most importantly very very relaxing and satisfying. Among the array of various peel-off masks available in the market, you’ll hardly find anything with such potent and premium ingredients as the Rejuvenating Arabica Coffee Peel-off Mask by VLCC. I love using this during my pamper days or weekends or if for the shortest glam-up regime to attending a special event. It turns any day into a spa day and I love that.
This mask spreads evenly on to the skin and turns into a peel-off mask from a gel-like formula within 15-20 minutes. It is also very easy and very neat to remove. It peels away the dirt and impurities from the pores and evens out the skin tone while rejuvenating it. The difference it makes is quite noticeable. It instantly brightens up the skin tone by clearing away all the dead cells and tanning off of the surface of your skin.
Texture, consistency & Smell- The peel-off mask is a light-brown, gel-like texture that spreads evenly onto the skin. Similar to the Coffee Sugar De-tan Exfoliating Scrub, this also smells exactly like coffee and that itself is very therapeutic.
How to Use- Wash face properly and pat dry with a soft towel. Apply Peel off mask evenly over your face avoiding eyebrows, eyes & lips (do not apply a very thin layer). Let it dry for 20-25 minutes. Peel Off from the forehead in a downward direction towards the chin & wash off. For best results, use at least once a week.
You are advised to do a patch test before using any of these.

Hi, guys! Hope you all are safe and doing great. I am back with another post and today it is all about reducing the extra kilos that most of us must have put due to the lack of opportunities to work out while a lot of us were working from home, sitting at one place for hours during the lockdown and unlock period. I have such a body type that even if I gain one kilo of weight, it is going to get added to either my waist or in my butt. To be very honest, a well-toned lower body, if not slimmer, is something I really like for myself. Today, I will share some tips that have helped me and I am sure would help you as well to shed those bulges from your lower body.
Weight gain is something that happens way before you start to realize it. Each woman has a different body type and body shape, but one thing in common with every woman out there. Women generally tend to gain more weight in their lower portion or back portion of the body compared to the upper portion. Once you start forming bulges in the mentioned areas, it is very difficult to reduce them. It takes months of strenuous exercises and following a healthy diet. Only then you can win the war against it.
The few things that I will be mentioning might sound cliched but if you strictly and religiously follow them, you will definitely start noticing the change. Here is the list of ways that you can consider if you are trying to lose weight from your buttocks.
WORKOUT:
Regular exercising irreplaceable when it comes to reducing lower body fat. It might take time, but this is the most effective and safest way of reducing those extra kilos. There are a bunch of effective exercises that are proven to work for losing weight while toning your body. You can do squats which are known to give you your dream booty, or you can try out various yogasanas (advised to do under professional guidance). Lunges, burpees, and side leg raise, and many others are really fruitful for achieving a firmer lower body.
BRISK WALK:
This is I think is the most underrated way of losing weight. People nowadays spend money on hi-tech machines or well-equipped gyms but nobody pays attention to the benefits of brisk walking. You don’t need a treadmill, nor do you need to go to a jogger’s park. At least 30 minutes of brisk walking on your terrace could help you burn that stubborn fat. Apart from losing weight, regular walking helps you with your appetite and fight many diseases as well.
HEALTHY EATING:
One of the most crucial things that directly impact your weight loss or gain is your food habit. Healthy eating is more important than eating less. You don’t need to skip your meals, rather keep eating in an interval of 3-4 hours. This will boost your metabolism and help you lose weight rather than fasting. You must stop eating junk and processed food. That not only increase your waistline but also affect your immunity. I am not saying you should eat only salads, just eat everything in the right quantity. Avoid sugar and fried food and include as many green veggies in your diet as possible. Calculate your calory intake as per your everyday diet and follow a routine of eating well and eating in time.
SOMETHING EXTRA:
Apart from the above pointers, there are also some ways that you can consider to get a firm and toned butt and thighs. Namyaa Brazilian Bum Cream is such a revolutionary product that helps you achieve a firm, well-toned and voluminous booty. This is a very effective cream that lifts and plumps your lower body with regular use and gives you smooth bum skin. With regular use, it improves the contours and curves of your bum which is a boon for flat butts. Formulated with the natural goodness of Chamomile, Nutmeg, Macadamia seed oil, etc., this exceptional booty lift cream is free from any kind of harsh metals, harmful chemicals, pesticides, synthetic fragrances, artificial colours, fertilizers, or any kind of harmful additives.
One more option that you can try out in case you hardly have the time to work out but look forward to having a great bum is the Namyaa Brazilian Bum Cream. This one helps you get a fuller, plumper bum that is smooth in texture. This Cream is very easy to use and effective at the same time. If you are wondering how to apply bum cream, here’s how to use it:
Take the required amount of the cream on your palms and apply it over your butts.
Gently massage the area for a couple of minutes till the cream gets completed absorbed. Allow it to dry for some time.
Repeat the process twice a day, once in the morning and once at night before going to bed for the maximum of benefits. For best results, use it twice a day daily for a span of at least 6 weeks.
The best part is Namyaa Bum cream contains caffeine that helps to cut down the cellulite naturally without any side-effects.
The product has a luxurious, rich look as it comes in a sleek white bottle and a silver cap. This is easily available on Flipkart or Amazon. It is originally priced at Rs. 1200/- but you can always get it on discounts online for Rs. 599/-. Just like the other Namyaa feminine care product that I have reviewed before, this one is also effective.

My Experience with Ethicare Remedies Chocolite Scrub
It’s been one and a half months or more since I have been introduced to the Chocolite Face & Body Scrub and I have been a lover of this ever since. One of the main reasons is the smell of this product. It helps me relax after a hectic day or week. I like to incorporate this into my pamper night routine. This scrub is loaded with finely ground exfoliating beads that are very mild on the skin. It scours away all the dead-cells, dust and grime from the skin surface very efficiently and without irritating the skin layer. I dislike the scrubs that are too harsh on the skin rather I prefer those that are mild but gives me that powerful exfoliation experience. The Chocolite Scrub perfectly does that. This has made my skin look polished and glowing. It effectively and easily removes blackheads also which otherwise is quite a task. The antioxidants in it make sure your skin looks rejuvenated and youthful with regular use. It also removes tanning and makes the skin look brighter after a few uses.
This product is non-comedogenic that means it doesn’t contain any ingredients that can clog your pores. This makes this product safe for people with acne-prone skin. This texture and consistency of this product make it appropriate for using on the body as well. I prefer using it on my face after a thorough cleanse with an anti-acne face wash.

Winter is here and that for me marks the beginning of officially going for a body moisturizer hunting. It now has been an annual ritual for me to try and test different body products. Although my facial skin is combination to oily, my body skin is dry. My body feels stretchy and dehydrated all year long. In winters, it just goes out of control. So, I am always on a hunt of a moisturizer that hydrates my skin and at the same time doesn’t feel heavy or sticky. Over the past few years, I have started loving body butters more than body lotions during winters. Today, in this post, I will review a body butter that I have picked up for this year- Deyga Rose and Geranium Body Butter.
Deyga Rose & Geranium Body Butter
About the product-
From the house of a natural, organic, sustainable, handcrafted brand Deyga’s rose and geranium Body Butter is infused with the goodness of rose, which rejuvenates your skin with the heart notes of English Rose with the warm woody notes.
Organic unrefined shea butter, Raw mango butter, Extra virgin coconut oil, Sweet almond oil, Rose essential oil, Geranium essential oil, Jojoba oil.
Packaging-
Deyga Rose and Geranium Body Butter comes in a simple plastic tub with a plastic screw-on lid. It also comes with a separator inside which ensures no leakage or spillage is there. The jar is very sleek which makes it easier to travel with.
Texture & Smell-
The product is a pale peachy pink coloured body butter that has a very thick consistency. In winters, it becomes a little more concentrated as it has natural butter in it but it easily melts down with a quick rub between the fingers. Once applied, it spreads evenly on to the skin and gets absorbed quickly into the skin. The texture is just like that of any butter but non-sticky. It has a faint rose smell that lingers for 2-3 hours. The fragrance is very mild and doesn’t cause nausea or headache as some would do. I am very sensitive to smells but found this to be extremely subtle.
My Experience with Deyga Rose & Geranium Body Butter-
Although I easily gravitate towards body butters more than any other equivalents because of their thickness, my only concern with them is that they would make my skin greasy or feel heavy on the skin. To my surprise, the Rose and Geranium body butter by Deyga looked way thicker in the jar than it actually is. It feels like whipped butter when scooped out of the jar. Once you rub it between your fingers it becomes thinner and easy for application. It gets absorbed by the skin easily and quickly and leaves the skin hydrated for long. The rich texture makes the skin soft, supple and nourished. I am also very fond of the lingering scent of this body butter. After continuously using this product has left my skin softer than usual and it feels and looks nourished. Moreover, the natural ingredients ensure your skin gets enough nutrients without any harm. I am so glad to find such a product for myself. This body butter is suitable for all skin types.

Hello, everyone. Today, I am here to talk about another skincare gem that I have found about a month ago. Being a beauty blogger and a skincare enthusiast, I am always up for experimenting with different ingredients that help level up my skincare game. One of them is acids. Yes, you heard me right. I have recently included Hyaluronic Acid in my regime which unlike the AHAs and BHAs, doesn’t exfoliate your skin but helps with the hydration. I have been using Hyaluronic acid in the form of a moisturizer and that is our product in focus for today- HyaluGel.
Before starting off with the review, I must introduce Hyaluronic acid to all those who have little to no idea about this amazing component. Hyaluronic acid is a sugar molecule that occurs naturally in our skin. It has the ability to retain moisture in the skin as much as a thousand times its weight. This powerful humectant works wonders for the skin, it provides and locks in the hydration, plumps the skin and helps reduce fine lines or any signs of ageing. Unfortunately, our ability to produce Hyaluronic Acid decreases as we get older. Then, we need supplements.
It is the most suitable moisturizer and conditioner for oily and acne-prone skin.
It is good for sensitive skin also. It is a non-sticky, non-comedogenic, hypoallergenic, colour-free, and fragrance-free gel.
It enhances the result of cosmetic procedures.
Ingredients-
Hyaluronic acid in an aqueous gel base, Aqua, Glycerin, Hyaluronic acid Q.S, Carbomer Q.S, PreservativesQ.S
How to Use-
After cleansing your face and affected area, apply all over the face evenly, more on the affected areas. Let it dry. Should be used 2 – 3 times a day on the affected area regularly.
Packaging-
HyaluGel by Ethicare Remedies comes in a no-fuss white coloured plastic tube with a blue screw-on cap. It is a 30g pack and can easily be travelled with without worrying about any leakage or spillage.
Texture & Feel-
It is a gel formula but quite runny in consistency. It gets absorbed by the skin very quickly and gives a matte finish without leaving the skin dry. The feel of it is very close to that of a serum though very different in texture.
My Experience with HyaluGel-
I love this product for its exceptional formulation. As I mentioned earlier, it is a runny gel-like texture that works perfectly for oily skin people. It is completely non-oily and non-sticky that makes it appropriate for your pre-makeup skincare. It could very well act as a primer as it somewhat smoothes the skin out. HyaluGel gets absorbed by the skin quite fast and it leaves your skin matte yet hydrated for a long time. I haven’t experienced any breakouts or rashes after using this but it is hard to tell if it prevents acne.
From the price point, it may look a little expensive but 30g of this product lasts really long as a little goes a long way. A pea-size amount will be sufficient for the entire face. I have oily to combination skin and it worked like magic. My skin felt hydrated from inside and it kept the oiliness at bay for a decent amount of time. I’d highly recommend this moisturizer for summers.
