It also works great to remove tanning, tighten and brighten the skin, improve skin texture, reducing wrinkles and signs of ageing.

It gently removes the dead cells from the surface and reveals the brighter looking skin lying underneath it instantly. It makes the skin smoother, brighter and softer. If I have to rate it, I will give is a 9/10.

The product contains fine sugar crystals and coffee particles. It has got a mood-lifting aroma of freshly ground premium coffee.

How to Use- Take a sufficient quantity of scrub and apply on cleansed face. Scrub gently in a circular motion. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry.

How to Use- Wash face properly and pat dry with a soft towel. Apply Peel off mask evenly over your face avoiding eyebrows, eyes & lips (do not apply a very thin layer). Let it dry for 20-25 minutes. Peel Off from the forehead in a downward direction towards the chin & wash off. For best results, use at least once a week.

You are advised to do a patch test before using any of these.

Although I easily gravitate towards body butters more than any other equivalents because of their thickness, my only concern with them is that they would make my skin greasy or feel heavy on the skin. To my surprise, the Rose and Geranium body butter by Deyga looked way thicker in the jar than it actually is. It feels like whipped butter when scooped out of the jar. Once you rub it between your fingers it becomes thinner and easy for application. It gets absorbed by the skin easily and quickly and leaves the skin hydrated for long. After continuously using this product has left my skin softer than usual and it feels and looks nourished. Moreover, the natural ingredients ensure your skin gets enough nutrients without any harm.  I am so glad to find such a product for myself. This body butter is suitable for all skin types.

I love this product for its exceptional formulation. As I mentioned earlier, it is a runny gel-like texture that works perfectly for oily skin people. It is completely non-oily and non-sticky that makes it appropriate for your pre-makeup skincare. It could very well act as a primer as it somewhat smoothes the skin out. HyaluGel gets absorbed by the skin quite fast and it leaves your skin matte yet hydrated for a long time. I haven’t experienced any breakouts or rashes after using this but it is hard to tell if it prevents acne.

From the price point, it may look a little expensive but 30g of this product lasts really long as a little goes a long way. A pea-size amount will be sufficient for the entire face. I have oily to combination skin and it worked like magic. My skin felt hydrated from inside and it kept the oiliness at bay for a decent amount of time. I’d highly recommend this moisturizer for summers.

It’s been more than a month since I have been using this product and I have been enjoying using it, to be honest. The extremely lightweight formula and silky texture have won my heart. As I mentioned my struggle with sunscreens earlier in this post, this product came as a blessing and it completely changed my skincare routine. Now, I never skip my sunscreen. It feels you have nothing on your face. It doesn’t make your face sweaty, unlike many sunscreens which makes it a great option for summers as well. The rose and mulethi face pack comes in a fine dust form and the fragrance is a mild rose fragrance. They haven’t used any artificial colours or perfumes in this product so what you get is absolutely natural.

How to Use-

Take about a tablespoon or two full of the Rose and Mulethi pack in a bowl, mix it with some milk or rose water and make a paste out of it. Apply the paste thickly and evenly across your face, leave it for about 15 minutes or until 80% dry and wash it off using gentle circular massaging strokes.

I absolutely love rose as an ingredient in my skincare products. It took me a really long time to actually notice the benefits of rose on my skin. I would say it was somewhat an acquired liking but I am glad I fell in love with this powerful ingredient.

It’s been a month since I have been using it and it did not cause any breakout or skin irritation on me. I like to use this on days my skin needs some extra TLC and it beautifully does that. You guys all know my undying love for scrubs. I also categorize them according to my preferences. Some I like on a daily basis, some on the days I pamper my skin and some for special occasions. Today, I am going to talk about the Vasu Sugar Scrub– a new face scrub that I recently came across. This scrub belongs to the last category I mentioned earlier. This particular product is a new addition to my skincare stash, however, the brand is not. I have previously used their Kumkumadi Thailam facial beauty oil. Will talk about it some other day. Today’s product in focus is the sugar scrub and I am already excited to know your views on this.

I know many of you have used sugar scrubs before but I want to know how many of you used them for your facial skin. I am wondering because I have always been sceptical about using any sugar-based exfoliants on my face as I always feared they might be too rough for the skin. I remember one such incident where I used a homemade sugar scrub on my face and I got dry patches on certain parts of the skin.  I have used them for my body many a time though. Texture & Fragrance-

The texture of this is very unique, something I experienced for the first time in my life. It is a sand-like texture but you can feel the mildness of it once touched. The consistency is thick and sticky consistency but I spread effortlessly on the skin.  It is a light golden-brown colour with visible sugar granules and some black particles which I assumed must be the black sand.

The fragrance is a very soothing ayurvedic smell. As far as my nose could perceive, the product smelled mostly of saffron, sandal and a little bit of honey and I am quite convinced as the first two are generally present in Kumkumadi oils. Kumkuma- the main ingredient in Kumkumadi oil is saffron. These make the product quite aromatic and it is something that doesn’t bother you.

How to Use Vasu Sugar scrub-

  • Wet your face and neck,
  • Take a dollop of the scrub on to your palm and rub it between your palms to spread the product evenly before applying.
  • Gently massage your face with the product in circular motions focusing the nose, chin or any other problematic areas on your face.
  • Rinse your face thoroughly with cold water.

About 1-2 minutes of massage would be sufficient as you won’t want to over-exfoliate your skin. You must use this product on wet skin as the consistency is quite thick and it won’t spread on the skin evenly only to make it tough to massage properly. You are advised to use this scrub once or twice a week for better results.

I have already told you my experience with sugar scrubs before Vasu Sugar Scrub came into my life. Now, I am going to share my experience after using this product for almost a month. First of all, I am in love with the texture of this. It is exactly how I like my exfoliators to be, loaded with scrubbing particles. If you and I have the same taste in scrubs, you’ll love this product to the core. It comes in a 50g jar but that lasts for long as a little goes a long way.

The sugar granules in it remove dead cells and impurities very effectively without being harsh on the skin. It’s very mild and gentle which is quite unusual for sugar scrubs. This product contains the goodness of Kumkumadi oil that is well-known for its magical properties that adds a youthful glow to the face and is a natural anti-ageing agent.
