Four Fountains Labs 6X Green Tea Review

Hi, guys! Today I am going to write about something that I have been wanting to share with you for the past few weeks. Today, I’ll be reviewing a special green tea named 6X Green Tea by the Four Fountains Labs. Four Fountains Labs is founded by Four Fountains De-stress Spa. Remember my first spa session? It was at the Four Fountains De-stress Spa. It’s a pleasure to write about their new venture.

If you follow me on my social media platforms, you might know that I am a huge tea lover! I can’t think about starting my day without a cup of tea. I prefer a cup of hot green tea without sugar. It gives me such a good feeling from within. I feel light the entire day and also it provides me with a lot of energy and some sort of comfort. It makes me feel I am doing something really good for my body.

I never tried any exotic flavours when it came to green tea. I am always comfortable with my regular green tea without any added flavour. But, when I got to know about the 6X Green Tea, I knew I have to try it. Firstly, I have a certain kind of both green tea and Four Fountains De-stress Spa and secondly, this particular green tea is formulated with six times higher antioxidants compared to a regular green tea. 6X Green Tea comes with the right amount of antioxidants that your body required to neutralise the free radical’s effect. This green tea is absolutely caffeine free thus making it much healthier. These products have been formulated by Dr. Ezhil Arasan who happens to be an ex-Dr. Reddy’s Research Scientist. Sounds great, eh?

The 6X Green Tea comes in sachets and the product is a ready-to-mix powder. You just have to mix it with a glassful of hot water and you are done! 1 box of 6X Green Tea comes with 30 sachets which enough good for at least a month.

Medimix Essential Herbs Ayurvedic Facewash| Review & Price

Hello, all! How are you doing? Today, I am going to talk about a facewash that has successfully made it to my morning skincare essentials. Today, I will be talking about the newly launched Medimix Ayurvedic Face Wash and how it is making my skincare routine easier.

If you follow me on my social medias (links on the right sidebar) then you already know that I have recently changed my skincare routine. You guys have seen my Snapchat stories where I showed you how I changed my morning skincare, but, I have now shifted the whole thing to night time. I’ll discuss the reason in another post.

When it comes to face washes for the morning, I always like to use something that is mild and has natural ingredients. In mornings, I need a product that cleanses my skin gently, provides hydration and removes the extra oiliness. When I received the Medimix Ayurvedic Face Wash, I was beyond happy because firstly, I have been a lover of their soaps since I was a kid, secondly, I love herbal facial cleansers and lastly, I needed something as this product to include in my morning skincare regime.

Price- Rs 60 for 50ml

Ingredients- This face wash has an infusion of 6 essential herbs such as Manjishtha (Rubia cordifolia) 0.835mg, Nimba (Azadirachta indica) 0.835mg, Haridra (Curcuma longa) 0.855mg, Amaya (Aplotaxis auriculata) 0.835mg, Lodhra (Symplocos racemosa) 0.835mg, Kumari (Aloe vera) 0.835mg. INACTIVES- 5-Chloro-2-Methyl-2H-Isothiazol-3-One, 2-Methyl-2H-Isothiazol-3-One. COLOUR- Cl 42090, Cl 19140.

Packaging- Medimix Ayurvedic Face Wash comes in a regular plastic tube with flip cap that closes quite tightly. All the descriptions and ingredients list is printed on the tube which is really useful. Being designed a small a sturdy packaging, it is really convenient to travel with.

The Product- The product is actually a green coloured, foaming gel. The texture is exactly like a gel, a little less concentrated. You just need a pea-sized amount of the product to cleanse your entire face and neck. It lathers quite well when applied on a semi-wet face. Medimix Ayurvedic Facewash has a particular smell to it. It smells like herbs. The fragrance is very mild and goes away after washing off. As I said earlier, it is quite concentrated so, a little product goes a long way.

My Experience with Medimix Ayurvedic Face Wash

I use this face wash once a day, in the mornings. I like to wet my face first and then take a pea-size amount of the product and rub it between my palms, foam it up and then apply to the face. It instantly brings a healthy glow to my skin. I have been using it for more than a week and I can surely tell that it makes a difference. It does not cause breakouts, does not dry out my skin and provides an all day long freshness. I do not have acne, nor that I have an acne-prone skin, so I cannot tell you if it fights pimples or not. I need my morning skincare to be something extra. Medimix Ayurvedic Face Wash ensures I get that extra something.

It comes in handy when you are out and need a quick cleanup, but which will give the same effect as a full-fledged skincare routine. Like, if you are running late for work but do not want to skip your morning skincare regime, you would need this face wash. You would need to have something this the Medimix Ayurvedic Face Wash if you are always on the go. Skincare with this product is absolutely fuss-free and quick, with the benefits of 6 essential herbs infused in the product to give you the best from nature.

Overall, I liked the efficacy of the Medimix Ayurvedic Face Wash and I am looking forward to continuing using this in the future. I highly recommend this product to everyone because this is an infusion of both science and nature and is designed for every skin type. Today, I am going to talk about an international online shopping portal called Dresslink.com that stocks a huge variety of modern women clothes and accessories that too with very affordable price tags. I am sure you would want to know more about it.

DressLink.com is very popular among women who love shopping internationally within a very limited budget. They have an array of clothes, bags, shoes, beauty accessories like makeup brushes and a lot of other ‘womanly’ stuff. The sell the most stylish formal or casual clothes, considering the ongoing trend. Thus, it is very popular among the fashion lovers. They have a great range of products across categories. Their jumpsuits and dresses are totally must-haves for your wardrobe.

Order, Dispatch and Delivery

Ordering from DressLink was really easy, just fill up your cart with your desired products and click checkout. So far as the payment options are concerned, they have options like Credit Cards, Paypal and Western Union money transfer. They ship internationally across various countries. The dispatch for my order was really quick and so was the delivery. I placed my order on May 28, it was dispatched on May 31 and I received my package on June 11. The delivery was made by Aramex and it was quite smooth. Other shipping companies that they have are FedEx, DHL, UPS, EMS and China Post.

Shipping Cost and Customs

Their products are priced at a very inexpensive rate but it isn’t the same with the shipping cost. The shipping charges may comparatively seem to be a bomb. They have a ‘free shipping’ option also. Check out this page for the same. For my order, I did not have to pay any customs.

Quality of DressLink Items

When you are planning to buy from a site that sells extremely inexpensive clothes or accessories, you certainly are sceptical about the quality. What is most common with these type of sites is the poor quality of the material used for the clothes, sizing issues and complete difference from what is displayed as a reference image. Most of the time people get a wrong sized item or cheap quality material. But with DressLink, I did not find the same. The items I bought came exactly same as it was displayed in the reference image and the sizes were true to the size chart. I am really impressed with the quality of the products.

SkinCafe Lip Care Range- Scrub, Butter & Tinted Balm Review

Hey guys, hope you all are doing well. Today, I will be sharing my views on a range of products that I have been enjoying using for the past few weeks. It has been almost over a month since I started using the SkinCafe lip care products that they had sent me and now I think I am ready to share my final words. I know I took a long time but, that is how I work, I take too much time to review skincare products in order to understand the pros and the cons well and share a crystal-clear view on any product.

I am a lover of handmade skincare products. It gives me a feeling that I am doing something that is the best for my skin. When I received the package from SkinCafe, I was more than excited to try them out. I got three beautiful products from SkinCafe- Choco Chip and Cookies lip scrub, English Trifle lip butter and a Strawberry Shortcake tinted lip balm. Before starting with the review, let me tell you a few words about the brand.

SkinCafe.in is a brand that makes and sells handcrafted lip care products. They have a huge range of products across three categories i.e. lip scrubs, lip butter and tinted balms. All their products are named after some popular desserts. When you go to their website you would probably think that you have come to an online patisserie (check it out yourself, here). All their products are made after you place an order ensuring that you get the freshest products every time you place an order. I really liked this. Their products are cruelty-free, vegan and free from parabens. What more one could ask for? All the ingredients they use are listed on a separate page to avoid any vagueness and to ensure that there is always clarity between the manufacturer and the buyer.

Now that we know enough of the brand, let’s jump into the review-

Packaging- I am not going to lie, the packaging is the first thing that made me excited to try out the products. Each product comes in a cute little box with the illustration of a cupcake on each of them. It can give a tough competition to any luxury confectioner. As you open the box, you notice a small glass jar that contains the product. The packaging for all their products looks exactly the same. All of them come in glass jars with a plastic lid and labels. They all come in glass jars that are biodegradable but I did not find them the best things to travel with.

SkinCafe Choco Chip and Cookies Lip Scrub

Price- Rs 950/- (9g)

Ingredients- Cocoa Nibs, Jojoba Oil

The SkinCafe Choco Chip and Cookies lip scrub is a product that works really well for chapped lips. There was a time when I was suffering from severely chapped lips even in summers. A regular scrubbing with this Choco Chip and Cookies has helped to reduce the dryness a lot. One can definitely notice softer and plumper lips right after using the scrub. I wet my lips first and then scoop out a little of the scrub with my fingers onto my palm and then massage it very gently onto the lips. If you ever feel that the scrub is dry, which happened to me at first, you can mix a drop of olive oil or coconut oil with the scrub and then apply it. The best thing about this Choco Chip and Cookies lip scrub is that it contains very fine scrubbing particles that do not feel harsh on the lips. More than that, this scrub smells divine, exactly like dark chocolate. It’s quite impossible to not lick it once. I tried that and believe me it does not taste like dark chocolate!

SkinCafe English Trifle Lip Butter

Price- Rs 850 (9g)

Ingredients- Candelilla Wax, Cocoa Butter, Sweet Almond Oil and Banana infusion.

I never found a lip balm that has the perfect consistency as butter in order to keep my lips hydrated for the longest time. It was only until I discovered this English Trifle lip butter from SkinCafe. This product does not only make my lips soft but also it keeps them moisturized for a long time. It stays on my lips for good 4-5 hours. Sadly, it does not survive a meal. This product has become my salve for the drier days. I would suggest you guys to try this at least once and you will know what I am trying to say. I never tried English Trifles so I don’t know what to expect from the fragrance of the product but, whatever it is, it smells good. This lip butter does not contain petroleum jelly.

SkinCafe Strawberry Shortcake

Price- Rs 900 (9g)

Ingredients- Beeswax, Mango Seed Butter, Avocado Oil and Strawberry infusion.

The Strawberry Shortcake Lip Tint Balm from SkinCafe is supposed to be a tinted lip balm as you can tell from the name. This balm has a buttery consistency, glides on the lips smoothly making them soft and supple and adding a subtle hint of pink colour to them. The colour is not as intense as I had imagined but it’s quite natural and perfect for an everyday purpose. This balm makes my lips really hydrated. It smells exactly like strawberries!

Overall, I liked the range of products from SkinCafe. The fact that they are purely vegan, cruelty-free and free from harsh chemicals like parabens, excites me a lot to keep using them forever. I would highly recommend their products. They are worth a try. A regular use of this range of products has changed my lip care regime completely. My lips do not feel dry anymore. The price of the product may be on the higher side but they are totally worth it. If you are sceptical about trying them for the first time and also hesitating to pay such a price for a new brand, then you can try their Lip Care Combos which would be a smart choice. Each these combos contain three products from each category (scrubs, butters and tinted balms). Each combo is a set of three products of 3g each and retails at Rs 900. As summer is here with all its glory and intensity, we all are hunting for the most lightweight skincare and makeup products, aren’t we? Moisturizing is an important part of out skincare regime that we often tend to skip during this hot and humid weather. We might feel that we don’t need that extra moisture as the skin is always sweaty and moist, but the fact is that we still need to hydrate our skin right after cleaning our face and body. Cleansers or soaps has a tendency to remove the excess oils from our face and body, sometimes leaving them dry. Adding a layer of moisturizer will ensure your skin regains the moisture that was taken away by the soap/cleanser. Himalaya Herbals Aloe & Cucumber Refreshing Body Lotion is exactly what you are looking for this summer. This product moisturizes your skin without making it greasy.

The packaging is totally spill proof and travel-friendly. There is nothing exceptional about the packaging, it is like the patent Himalaya Herbals packaging.

Texture and Consistency- The texture and consistency of the Himalaya Herbals Aloe & Cucumber Refreshing Body Lotion are really suitable for the summer. It is light-weight, has a lotion-y texture, not too thick nor too runny. I love it because it easily gets absorbed into the skin and does not at all feel like I have applied anything on my body.

Fragrance- This product has a very refreshing, summery scent to it. The fragrance is not overpowering and lasts long.

Ups-

Sturdy packaging.
Light-weight.
Long-lasting.
Gets absorbed easily into the skin.
Refreshing fragrance.
Makes the skin soft and supple.
Apt for summers.

Downs-

May not suit someone with very dry skin.
Does not contain SPF.

Overall, I liked this new launch by Himalaya Herbals. The weightlessness of this lotion makes it my favourite lotion for summers. It barely feels like a lotion when applied, thus, it does not feel greasy. I have normal to dry skin and this body lotion provides the adequate amount of hydration to my body. It makes my skin touchably soft and hydrated. The best thing about this product is that it lasts long, for almost 5-6 hours on me. It also has a mild cooling sensation to it which makes me feel fresh every time I apply it. This product is meant for all skin types but I think it won’t suffice the needs of an extremely dry skin. I wish it had some sort of SPF to it.

That box contained one of their precious gemstone shower gels that they launched recently. This Precious Gemstone Bath Collection consists of three of the Fiama Di Wills Shower Jewels, namely, Aquamarine Agleam, Shimmering Diamond and Ravishing Ruby having the properties of the gemstones they are named after. This collection is designed by the very talented and acclaimed designer Masaba Gupta.

There was enough reasons for me to be excited about this collection. Firstly, it is designed by Masaba Gupta who is known for her unique sense of style and iconic designs. Secondly, it is really intriguing for me to use a shower gel that is claimed to be enriched with gemstone dust. A shower gel full of Aquamarine dust? How can one say no to it! Lastly, the packaging! You can’t even imagine how gorgeous it looks in the sun until you have seen it yourself. The box that the showers gels came in is uniquely designed and screams elegance and sophistication. I am totally in love with the packaging.

The bottle is really sturdy. There is nothing fancy about the bottles, very similar to the regular shower gels by Fiama Di Wills.

My thoughts- The product is quite iridescent blue/teal in colour and the consistency is very nice, exactly like a gel. It’s not runny, so perfect to apply. The gel lathers really well. It has a musky smell which is not very flattering to me. I wish it had a more feminine fragrance. Although the scent does not stay long on me but the freshness and clean feeling last for hours. It cleans the skin really well, leaving it soft, supple and fresh. The thing I most liked about this shower gel is that it does not leave that soapy feeling after shower unlike most of the shower gels.

I really enjoyed my bath time using the Fiama Di Wills Shower Jewel Aquamarine Agleam. I think Fiama Di Wills has done a great job with the formulation and ingredients. It claims to result in a youthful skin. I found out that this shower gel makes my skin really soft, supple and hydrated. It did not dry out my skin, unlike other shower gels. It is like a conditioner for my skin.

Club Salon Shine & Glow Facial Review

Hi, guys! Hope you are doing great. Today, I am going to talk about my experience at the Club Salon where I went out to try one of their skin care treatments. If you are following me on Snapchat (Username- sayantinee) then you might have seen the whole story behind it. I also shared my thoughts there. I was looking for a good therapy for my skin as I was facing a lot of problems, one of them being dullness. My face was lacking that inner glow and it was looking really unhealthy. Recently, when I was invited to try one of the facial treatments offered by Club Salon, I readily agreed.

I decided to go for the Sarat Bose Road branch as it was more convenient for me than the other four. I went there on last Thursday. I had already an appointment there. It is great to make an appointment before you step in to save time and also you can ask for your preferred staff at the time of appointment. As soon as I reached there I was welcomed by their courteous staff. Then I was requested to make myself comfortable and offered a glass of water which, I felt, was really sweet and comforting.

Then, I was introduced to Doma, who was supposed to do my facial. She escorted me to the facial room. The room was prim and tidy and was smelling nice. There were dim lights which made the ambience very soothing and relaxing. Now, let me take you through the entire regimen, step-by-step.

At first, she examined my face to determine my skin type. She told me that I have a normal skin which was shocking as I have always known that I have a combination skin! Anyhoo, she also told me that my face is a bit tanned. After examining my face, she chose the suitable O3+ products for the facial. She first cleansed my face with a cleansing lotion and then applied a de-tanning mask made of Eucalyptus and camphor. The mask has a bit of cooling and burning sensation and also a strong scent. She left the mask on my skin for about 10 minutes and then wiped it off with a wet washcloth.

Now, she applied another mask which, I was told, has a skin whitening property. It was basically a peel-off mask that was also wiped off after 10-15 minutes. Next, another mask was applied which had whitening and brightening benefits. After leaving it for 10-15 minutes, she started massaging my face with a massage cream which is mainly made to make your skin glow from the inside. The massage was really relaxing and rejuvenating that I almost fell asleep. It was quite obvious, from the strokes she used, that she is a very skilled lady and also has a lot of experience. I can’t exactly recall how many minutes she spent on massaging my face but it was definitely 15-20 minutes. After the massage was over, all my fatigue was gone and there was an instant glow to my skin which was so evident.

I really liked the hour-long (probably, more) session. This particular ‘Shine & Glow from Agelock’ facial regime will cost you approximately Rs2,900 which is totally worth spending considering the result it offers.

Club Salon offers various skin and hair solutions from Agelock to Dermalzone customized facials, Anti-Pollution facials to different hair rituals including Smoothing, Strengthening and Reconstructing rituals etc. They also offer bridal makeovers, Airbrush Makeup for Bride & Groom and other customary services like mani and pedi, haircut and colour, nail arts etc. They also offer complimentary face mapping skin analysis which is great.

My Haul from Skin18.com & Mini Review

Hi, guys! How are you all? Today, I am going to talk about the sheet masks and other products I received from Skin18.com. This is going to be a haul, website review and mini product reviews. This is a long pending post, so I don’t want to waste any more time and jump right into it.

If you are following me on Instagram and Snapchat (Username- sayantinee), you might know that I received a package from Skin18.com a month ago. You guys know me, I take forever to review skincare products. I tried them one by one, leaving a gap of almost a week to know how each of them would react to my skin and then I come to the conclusion. Now you know the reason for the delay!

The best thing about Skin18.com is that they have worldwide shipping. They have free shipping on $40 for Hong Kong, South Korea, Singapore, Vietnam and the USA and on $60 for the rest of the world. Throughout their process of dispatch and delivery, they kept me posted about all the steps. It took exactly 12 days for the products to reach me from the date of dispatch which is great. Depending on your location and preferred shipping method, it generally takes from 6- 17 days for the products to reach you. My package which was marked as ‘gift‘ did not cost a penny for customs.

Reviews of the Products I got from Skin18.com

Here are the mini reviews of the products I received from Skin18.com. I have combination skin that becomes very oily during summers. All views are based on my personal experience. So, it may vary from others. Let’s start-

Beauty Friends II Essence Mask Sheet Pack (Royal Jelly)-This sheet mask is supposed to moisturize your face and it does that perfectly. The description tells you to apply it on a well-cleansed face and leave it there for 20-30. You are not supposed to rinse your face off after removing the mask, allowing the nutrients to soak into your skin. This mask made my skin soft and supple. I applied it in the night and the effect lasted till the next morning. This mask is priced at $0.80.

Four Season Multi Vita Brightening Active Mask- This mask, as the name suggests, contains multi vitamins such as Vitamin B5, Vitamin C and Vitamin E which are known to work wonders for your skin. This mask is supposed to do a lot of things like whitening, regeneration, antibacterial wound treatment, anti-aging, moisturizing, prevention of acne, prevention of allergy and immunity control. I just used this for once and I have only noticed a revitalized skin after using it. It does not do anything to the complexion of your skin. This is priced at $0.95.

Luke Mugwort Nose Cleansing Strip // Luke Lemon Tea Tree Nose Cleansing Strip- I never used a nose strip before I got to try these. You have to apply it on slightly wet nose for them to stick to the nose perfectly. You need to let them sit there until they become dry and then you have to pull them off the nose. I showed a demo of it on my Snapchat if you remember. Both the strips works amazing on blackhead and whiteheads. They remove them perfectly. Yes, it hurts a bit but it is definitely worth the pain. I am looking forward to getting a box full of them! The Lemon tea tree one has a strong tea tree fragrance which some of you may not like. I did not have any problem with that. They are priced at $0.65 each.

It’s Skin Todak Todak Pack Nutrition (Wash-Off Mask) with Honey and Coconut- If you guys follow me on Snapchat you will know the whole process of me trying this mask for the first time. It is basically a gel based face pack, almost has a jelly-like texture to it and it is transparent. It doesn’t dry off on your face, unlike other wash-off masks. When I tried it for the first time, I was not satisfied with it. But, after that, I found it to be great for my skin. It moisturized my skin very well, plus, it made my skin tighter. It can be used as a wash-off mask and also as a sleeping mask. It feels a bit warm on the and extremely hydrating. This pack contains coconut and manuka honey. It comes in a 10ml packaging which good for at least two uses. I used it for four times. This one is a bit pricey, $2.85 for a 10ml pack.

Overall, I liked these products from Skin18.com a lot. All these products are tested to treat various skin problems. I myself have seen and experienced good results on my skin. They did not cause any allergies or breakouts. I am looking forward to trying their eye-patches and more sheet masks. I highly recommend the sheet masks* from Skin18.com.

*Sheet masks are ready-made masks made of disposable cotton sheets, drenched in a solution of nutrients that are supposed to work as a facial treatment for various purposes.
