We call the new editor Gutenberg. The entire editing experience has been rebuilt for media rich pages and posts. Experience the flexibility that blocks will bring, whether you are building your first site, or write code for a living.

It seems that Gutenberg has been a term of controversy in the world of WordPress lately. Hailed as the most significant change to WordPress 5.0 this year, the Gutenberg editor has received a positive response from web developers and regular folk alike. All of this power is making it awesome.

What does Gutenberg Change

The sole purpose of the Gutenberg editor is to provide an alternative to the current open text editor, not to mention the difficult-to-remember shortcodes, with an agile and visual user interface (UI). So, unlike the current WordPress editor, you don’t have to:

  • import images, multimedia and approved files from the media library or add HTML shortcodes;
  • copy and paste links for embeds;
  • write shortcodes for specialized assets of different plugins;
  • create featured images to be added at the top of a post or page;
  • add excerpts for subheads;
  • add widgets for content on the side of a page.

Consider a block as the most basic (therefore, smallest) unit of the new editor.

Only a quarter of young adults are financially literate. You don’t want to overwhelm them.

Shane Doe, Entrepreneur.

They will be the building blocks of WordPress 5.0. In other words, everything—including content, images, quotes, galleries, cover images, audio, video, headings, embeds, custom codes, paragraphs, separators and buttons—will turn into distinct blocks.

Because you can drag and drop each block, identifying these items and placing them on the page becomes a lot easier.

Tables? You got them.

Adding a table using custom HTML code was a tedious job. With the table block, however, the task is a lot easier. You are able to add and remove rows and columns of a table without coding.

Gutenberg ❤️ Columns

Finally, yes. Columns are available natively in WordPress now. You can align them normal, wide or full in full-width post styles.

Built for Modern Times!

Gutenberg was developed on GitHub using the WordPress REST API, JavaScript, and React.

Whether you’re baking or binge waching holiday movies, this soft and cozy baseball sweatshirt plus festive tie-front joggers and sparkle mule slippers is the perfect way to relax.

Designed with Love. Bundle of Style.

Warm up so you can chill out. This season’s must-have sherpa pullover looks and feels great with fair-isle joggers or jeggings if company comes over.

If you need to check the mail for holiday cards, wrap up in a cableknit scarf and hat.

More for Images

As of Gutenberg 0.5.0, you can now drag and drop images directly into an image block, just like you are used to with the visual editor. And there are several new alignments available with CheerUp.

Above is an image Align Full Width, that works with our Full Width post style.

Besides just having the standard blockquote which we have been using for years, they also have a new pull quote. And yes, pull quotes are different.

Just rocking it being aligned left.

It is also nice to see some variations on the positioning of the blocks. For years, the standard visual editor has given you the ability to align left, align center, align right, and assign no alignment.

With the Gutenberg WordPress editor, you can also align wide (as seen below), and align full-width.

Blocks are a great new tool for building engaging content. With blocks, you can insert, rearrange, and style multimedia content with very little technical knowledge.

A single block is nice—reliable, clear, distinct. Discover the flexibility to use media and content, side by side, driven by your vision. A single block is nice—reliable, clear, distinct. Discover the flexibility to use media and content, side by side, driven by your vision of the future.

More Gutenberg Blocks

Gutenberg comes with new buttons that work right out of the box with CheerUp.

Gutenberg is available as a plugin now, and soon by default in version 5.0 of WordPress. The classic editor will be available as a plugin if needed.

Whether you like it or not, Gutenberg is coming to WordPress 5.0. Do try to be a part of it.

Beautiful Cover Image!

There’s a lot more…

We can only show so many of the blocks without bloating the page to excessive size. There many more Gutenberg blocks that just work. And this is just the beginning. Very exciting times ahead.

Gutenberg is primed to shape the future of WordPress with v5.0 default editor. Do try to be a part of the ongoing discussion about it on the web. It will certainly help.

Hello guys, hope you all are doing well. Today I thought of sharing my thoughts with you on the website called ShopBack. ShopBack is a website that offers the best deals, discounts, promo codes and cash back on almost all the online shopping sites. FlipKart, Jabong, MakeMyTrip, SnapDeal, just to name a few.

If you are a regular reader of this blog then you will know how much I love online shopping. Time and again I have mentioned that I am a shopaholic and a deal-hunter. Online shopping is a blessing and discount coupons and codes are the added bonus. ShopBack is a site that offers the best possible discount codes, coupons and most importantly cash back offers to make your shopping experience better each time. You get to choose the best deal among 300+ stores available on the site and a bunch of categories too.

ShopBack- Deals. Discounts & Cashbacks Website Review| cherryontopblog.com

Why ShopBack?

ShopBack has over 300 stores to choose from, numerous categories to make your search precise and they have CASH BACK deals on all the websites. I have come across a lot of coupon sites but a cash back claim is something you can’t avoid. You spend money on products and a certain amount is credited back to your account. Even donuts are less appealing than that!

Some of the listed sites are the leading e-commerce sites. You can even do mobile recharge on Paytm. They also have a handful of categories like Fashion, Food & Beverage, Travel, Electronics, Home & Living etc.

They also have ‘deals of the day‘ offers for you to choose the best offer of the day.

Hi guys, I hope you all are doing well. Today, I am going to write about a product that I have been using for almost a month. Hair for Sure (click here to visit their website) is a basically a hair regrowth treatment which assures revitalization of hair and arrest hair fall. Although my hair apparently looks pretty voluminous but it has several issues. These issues include severe hair fall, dandruff, and roughness. These are the reasons why I wanted to try this tonic badly when I was approached by the brand.

Packaging- The Hair for Sure tonic comes in a plastic bottle with a plastic screw cap. It is also secured with a tight plastic cap underneath. The bottle comes in an outer packaging which is as shown in the pictures. The box also contains a nozzle which is supposed to be attached to the bottle for dispensing of the product. Overall, I liked the packaging as it is sturdy, travel-friendly, spill-proof and worth the price you pay.

Hair for Sure Hair Regrowth Treatment Review | cherryontopblog.com

Product- The product is a slightly greenish water-based liquid which is not sticky at all. It is nothing like a hair oil. It has a particular smell to it which I cannot explain to you properly, but the smell reminds me of those herbal hair treatments. If you have a sensitive nose then the smell might bother you, but the scent doesn’t linger for a long time. I found the smell mild and soothing. This product is supposed to be a leave-in tonic, thus, it is formulated as a non-sticky, non-oily, water-based product which does not make your hair look greasy.

How To Use- The directions to application is mentioned on the outer packaging. The tonic is advised to be used on a consistent schedule to notice the result. You have to take 4-8ml of product and rub gently on all over the scalp. Do not massage it. It is advised to use the product twice every day to see an optimal result. The best would be to apply it after washing your hair. Do not rinse off after applying.

How Does Hair for Sure Work?

Hair for Sure is formulated with the breakthrough Rutexil Growth Complex which-

  • Reactivates hair follicles to stimulate hair growth.
  • Comprehensive 4-step performance formula.
  • Clinically proven to help accelerate hair growth.

This product is approved by World Medical Trichologists Association (WMTA).

Hair for Sure Hair Regrowth Treatment Review | cherryontopblog.com

My Experience with Hair for Sure- Hair Regrowth Treatment:

As I mentioned earlier, I have been using this product for almost a month. I have several issues with my hair, mainly hair fall. I have been using this product twice a day. I use it on the wet scalp in the morning and on the dry scalp at night. I like to use it either with my fingertips or with a cotton ball. During this time period, I have missed only a week. Other than that, I have been using it religiously. When it comes to my remark, I would say that it has succeeded in reducing the hair fall to a great extent. I no longer face hair fall issues special while combing through my hair or during washing it. So far as hair growth or regrowth is concerned, I have not observed any satisfactory result.

Overall, this product is really effective if you are facing any severe hair fall issues. I would like to use this for another month, continuously, to see if it actually helps in the regrowth of my hair. Hair for Sure does not make your hair smooth, silky or shiny and it does not treat dandruff.

Hair for Sure can be found online on almost all the leading e-commerce sites like Amazon, Flipkart, eBay, Snapdeal, Nykaa, Purplle etc.

That’s it for the review. I hope you found it helpful. If you like this then don’t forget to leave your comments. Also, this post is my first post after migrating to WordPress. Let me know what you liked, what you did not. See you in my next post. Till then, be safe & keep smiling!

Disclaimer: Athena Life Sciences was too kind to send the product to me for reviewing. However, my opinion is unaffected by the fact.
Hello everyone, hope you all are doing great. Today, I am going to share my views on the new Himalaya Herbals lip care lip balms. If you guys follow me on Instagram then you already have seen how these balms look like. Now, I am going to let you know how these lip balms actually are. So, this is going to be an overview of the newly launched lip balms by Himalaya Herbals.
Recently, Himalaya Herbals has launched five new lip balms that are made of all-natural ingredients, completely sans preservatives, petroleum jelly, mineral oil and silicones. They are enriched with 100% natural colours, Vitamin E and antioxidants. Himalaya Herbals is known for using natural ingredients and that is why it has been my favourite since my teenage days. I am so glad that they have come up with these newly formulated lip balms with new and exciting packaging.

10

Price- 125 INR for 4.5gms

Variants- There is a total of five variants that were launched- Natural Soft Vanilla, Rich Cocoa Butter, Peach Shine, Strawberry Shine and Litchi Shine. Now, as you might have assumed by the names, the new Himalaya Herbals lip care balms are not only different in flavours but also in their formulation and purpose. The variants Natural Soft Vanilla and Rich Cocoa Butter are solely created to nourish your lips and are enriched with natural ingredients. The other three variants- Peach Shine, Strawberry Shine and Litchi Shine are meant for adding a bit of tinge and glossiness to your lips. These are also enriched with natural vitamin E, antioxidants and colours. However, only Strawberry Shine among the three has a hint of colour to it. I have swatched the other two but even after a few swipes nothing showed up. Strawberry Shine has a bit of pink tone to it but it barely showed up when I applied it to my lips. It might be because I have slightly pigmented lips.

Packaging- The new Himalaya Herbals Lip Care lip balms come in a plastic twist up packaging. The colour of the cases signifies the colour of the product inside. The two variants, Natural Soft Vanilla and Rich Cocoa Butter come in a slightly different packaging. The casing of these two are matte, and the bottom parts are also different (Please refer to the photos). Unlike these two variants, the other three Shine variants have shinier casing and the bottoms are transparent. The packaging is really sturdy and lightweight. The lid closes tightly.

Formula- The formula of this balms is amazing. They are really hydrating but does not feel too much intense or heavy on the lips. One can feel the richness of them once applied. I felt that the Shine variants are a little less in richness but they are extremely moisturising. All these balms give you a healthy look to the lips. Even those Shine variants do not make the lips look glossy as if you have a lipgloss on. They just make them nourished, lustrous and soft.
What I liked- The new Himalaya Herbals Lip Care lip balms do what they claim. They moisturise, make the lips soft and make them look lustrous. The lip balms stay put on my lips for an average of 5-6 hours. The first two variants, Natural Soft Vanilla and Rich Cocoa Butter are more long lasting than the other three variants.

What I did not like- The only thing I disliked about these balms is their aroma. I don’t know if you guys will feel the same or not but I have a sensitive nose and probably that is the reason I found the fragrance of these balms a bit overpowering. Although the aroma is not long-lasting, it fades away as time passes but somehow I don’t like flavoured lip balms. I won’t consider it as a downside but the lip balms tend to melt in this extremely hot and humid weather, especially the Rich Cocoa Butter one. But, storing them in a cool place minimises the problem.

My views on the new Himalaya Herbals Lip Care balms-

Overall, I really liked these newly formulated lip balms by Himalaya Herbals. I think it is a great value for the price you pay. Also, these are made of all natural ingredients which is always a plus point. I would recommend these balms to everybody. I am using the Rich Cocoa Butter lip balm the most among the lot. I could not find any product list written anywhere on the packaging. The shelf-life of these balms are almost a year. Also, these new Himalaya Herbals Lip Care lip balms claim to save your lips from environmental harms but these do not contain any SPF.
Let me know if you have used any of these lip balms. I would love to know your views on this. I will be back with a new post soon. Till then, be safe & keep smiling!

Affimity helps you find your target audience who might hear your voices and be interested in it. In this way, your content gets maximum visibility and organic shares. This is the ultimate purpose of Affimity. When you see your content getting lost in the flood of meaningless status updates, photos, and random memes you get to know that this platform is not for you. It might be good for recreations but definitely not a good place to share your blog posts. Because most of your posts do not actually reach your ideal audience. The interest-specific sharing drives organic traffic and gives your blog the best recognition.
Affimity is basically a Bengaluru and San Fransisco based start-up founded by Ramana Venkata who is also the CEO of the company.

The entire thing works in an easy and simple way. At the time of signing up, you are given some questions that you have to answer before starting. These questions help them decide the perfect channels for you. Then you get some suggestions to choose your choice of channels from their database. For my answers, I was given the choices of Food, Travel, Beauty and Book Club which are quite apt for me as I am a beauty, fashion and lifestyle blogger and I review books as well. So, these channels would provide me my target audience quite well. Later, I chose the two more channels Fashion and Wellness. There are several other channels present on Affimity to make the user experience better and the search much more precise. The other channels that they have are Technology, Parenting, Bollywood, DIY, Fitness, Random Thoughts, Movies etc.

There really is nothing desirable about unwanted hair.  When we look in the mirror, we want to feel appealing and hair in the wrong areas can bring down our self-esteem.  Looking and feeling our best boosts our self-image tremendously.  Getting those results isn’t as easy at home as you would get by going to a spa for a professional treatment.

The question you have to ask, though, is whether laser hair removal is the best decision for your personal needs.  To answer that, you need to look at several factors.

How Convenient are Cosmetic Clinics?
Years ago, you had to make an appointment at a spa only during regular operating hours.  Now, clinics are more accessible to their clients, remaining open for longer hours.  It makes it easier to set an appointment at an hour convenient to you.  With so many cosmetic practices in operation today, it wouldn’t be hard to find one located close by.

Procedures are More Efficient
Shaving day after day is an unpleasant task with minimal results.  It has to be repeated frequently, wasting a lot of time.  Think about how many hours you spend shaving over the course of a month.  Laser hair removal procedures take approximately one hour and results in the hair not growing back right away.  Less time spent removing unwanted hair means more time doing other things.

Less Painful Than You May Have Heard
Shaving doesn’t generally hurt, but have you tried waxing?  You can possibly be burnt by hot wax, but no matter how careful you are, you cannot avoid the pain of tearing off the wax strips.  It hurts!  By comparison, laser hair removal has minimal discomfort.  It can feel like a rubber band snapping continually against your skin or can make the skin feel heated.  Most clinics offer a numbing agent and many lasers now have a cooling device on them to reduce the sensations.

Cost Comparisons to Factor in
You also need to factor in the costs associated with hair removal.  The expense of going to a spa to have a professional perform a procedure may sound expensive, especially since you need to return several times for more permanent removal.  However, you need to take a close look at the cost over time of doing your own removal at home.  Whether you are shaving or waxing, you need to think about how much time you spend, the cost of the razors, creams, depilatories, wax kits, and so on.  How much are you spending in a year?  In two years?  In a lifetime?  The totals can be staggering to look at.  It makes the cost of laser hair removal seem significantly smaller by comparison.

Final Considerations Before Making a Decision
You need to keep in mind that there are potential issues with hair removal.  Just as home methods can cause harm with hot wax burns or cuts from a razor, there are side effects with using professional lasers.  Special skin tones and hair color combinations require specially design lasers for proper treatments.  Certified technicians are trained to know how to properly treat those variations.  A bit of research and asking the right questions can avoid any problems with that.  Check to make sure your clinic is reputable and you should be satisfied with the treatment results.

I hope you found this article helpful. I hope this post has answered all your queries regarding Laser Hair Removal.

Hi all, I hope you are enjoying my posts these days. I am really glad to be regular with my blogging. It feels positive every day. It feels like I am making use of the time productively. I am really happy about it.

There were a few times when I have posted articles that I thought might help my teen readers in choosing the right college for an education. I have had a hard time choosing my dream stream of studies, thus, I know the crises one faces after high school. Different people with different opinions is what you will get in your life. Your parents might be wanting you to be a doctor, rest of the family might want you to be an engineer whereas you might be wanting a career totally different from everyone’s expectations. I know that people’s perspective have changed but there are some who would not change themselves no matter what. So, you should be strong enough to swim against the tide and sensible enough to take such decision.

Anyway, today I thought I should talk to you guys about a dream career option that a lot of girls (and boys, too) who have just finished their board exams might have. Yes, I am talking about Fashion Designing. Today, I will be talking about something that might help you get a place at the best fashion designing colleges in India. If you already have planned to take fashion designing as a career then you might have heard of AICET which is an abbreviation for All India Common Entrance Test.  AICET, an entrance test conducted by WLCI (Wigan and Leigh College, India) which is, one of the best creative schools in India. The courses are offered for both graduate and undergraduate students. Hello everyone, hope you all are doing good. As spring has set its foot in and summer is yet to settle, we all are looking for a quick transformation of our closets. I was recently going through the latest SS16 collection of various brands and found out Global Desi which had an array of colourful summery clothes for women. I have always been a fan of bright colours when it comes to choosing my clothes for this season. I immediately fell for it. So, I thought of sharing my views on the Spring/Summer collection of Global Desi for 2016 with you guys.
Global Desi is a brand renowned for its stylish and modern concept of westernised ethnic clothing. It is known as a brand which produces supreme quality fusion clothing, an amalgamation of Indian and Western, a globalisation of desi couture.
The Spring/Summer 2016 collection of Global Desi, as observed at Jabong, has a vast range of bright, colourful clothes. The entire collection is divided into two types- prints and embroideries. The colour palette is very distinct- the colours range mainly between whites, yellows, blues and oranges, with some occasional usage of  blacks, reds and pinks. They have concentrated on both comfort and style as always. The meticulous addition of short and maxi dresses, jumpsuits and kurtas show that they have been mindful about everyone while creating the SS16 collection. Now, let’s have a detailed look at the collection-
